Should I put 'Consequences' in CC?

  1. 1. Should I put 'Consequences' in CC?

    • Yeah, it would be interesting to see some player characters die when they screw up. ;D
    • No, I don't want my character to die just because I didn't see that Orc running towards me. D:

The Promethean stuttered, it's arm cracking for a second. A large rift appeared in it, and it split in half. The two pieces fell, emitting a small quake. It looked down at it's shattered arm, an odd moan echoing through it's body. It's other arm raised up, this time aiming at Aeris. This guy wasn't going to go down without killing someone. The ball of fire hit him, yet nothing happened.

Aeris saw what was coming and started flapping his wings as he was getting up from the ground, guessing that only running wouldn't be enough. He was too tired from carrying Rammy though and he couldn't get up from the ground. He tried to push himself, but ended up straining himself and also managed to trip, falling over on the ground. He cried out in pain as he caught himself, his arms hurting like hell.

Ramashka's blood rage only made him more out of control as he leaped up towards the fist that was headed towards Aeris, not caring about the half-bird. He only wanted to damage the giant rock creature that had shattered his arm. Flames erupted around his right arm, and he punched with all his might into the construct's fist.

Aeris was trying to get away from there as fast as he could. He didn't like the look on Wolf-Rammy's face and he sure as hell didn't like that Rock..Giant..Thingy wither. He was glad that the wolf was attacking the creature though, it would give him a better shot at escaping. He slipped a little on the wet rocks but managed to get upp and started running away from there.

The Promethean did not flinch. He brought his arm back, and swiped Ram away with his leg. Another moan echoed around, and it stepped towards Aeris. Of course, it miscalculated it's step, and crashed down a couple of feet away form Aeris. It's head was now at the edge of the island, about 4 feet above the ocean.

Aeris flinced as the promethean landed in front of him, slipping and falling as a result. He grunted as he landed on his ass and then started to crawl backwards to get away from it. He was tired as hell and really wanted to get his wounds cleaned up. He couldn't do that if tehy were under attack though.

Once again, nothing happened to the Promethean. It seemed to be immune to Ram's attacks. It tried to get up, by pushing itself with it's one arm. However, the island was wet from the still drizzling rain. As he pushed himself up, he slipped crashing into the ocean, and sinking.

Aeris let out a sigh of relief as the Promethean fell and sunk down the ocean. He pulled himself up and looked around. Maybe there was a small spring or a hole filled with rainwater somewhere, at least that would be better than cleaning his wounds in the salt water. He looked around, not seeing anything, but he thought that he might as well walk around a little, maybe he'd be in luck?

Ram growled in frustration. His attacks had done naught as of so far, and he wondered if he was weaker than the creatures here, even in his werewolf form. He punched into the ground, and as his transformation ran out, the flames engulfed him and he was forced to his human form. His leather suit was still on, but the robes had been incinerated. "Damn it! So close!" he grumbled.

Aeris walked up to Rammy, now that he felt it was safe, and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Thanks.." he said, kneeling down behind him and hugging him. "Without you I would've been dead.. I guess I owe you again" he said, and smiled a little, not caring as much about cleaning his wounds any more. Hopefully he hadn't startled Rammy by doing that, but he hoped he wouldn't mind.

Ram was a bit startled of the hug, but he smiled at Aeris, not wanting to scare him. "Hey, it's ok, aye?" he said, and hugged Aeris back with his right arm. His heart began to race up again, and his heat was radiating from his body, but not too violent, or Aeris would been hurt. "I was just... reckless, I guess. And now my arm is busted..."

Aeris gasped and took a step back, "i didn't hurt you did I?" he blurted looking at Rammys arm, "I mean.. when I hugged you" he explained so he wouldn't sound stupid. He looked around, trying to find a branch or something that they could sprain the arm with and then tie it up with a piece of cloth or something. "We need to sprain it (i think that's the word O_o), so that it will heal right" he said as he tried to find anything usefull. hell they'd been on a boat, shouldn't there be parts of the ship floating around?

Aeris blushed a little and looked away. "Oh.. it's nothing really" he mumbled, blushing even more. "I mean, being stranded here requires us to help eachother out or we'll persih" He blurted immediatly regretting what he had said. Now it sounded like he had only done it because he felt he had to, not because he wanted to. He was getting frustrated with himself and sighed. "I want to help you, not because I have to, because I want to" he said, being pleased with what he had said this time.

Ram smiled at Aeris. "There's nothing to be frustrated over, Aeris. I am happy that you want to help me on your own will, and that no one forces you." he went up to Aeris and gently held his shoulder. "That's how a bird - or half-bird - should be. Free and kind to all he see. That's what you are, Aeris..." Ram could still not figure why his heart beat faster.

"Don't call me that" he said, looking down at the rocky ground. "I'm more man than bird, Don't refer to me as one.. please" he continued, getting glimpses of his old 'home'. he had un intentionally placed his own hand on top of Rammy's as he saw those memories flash before his eyes. He needed to know that there was someone there for him, and something told him Rammy would.

"Oh, I'm sorry Aeris. I didn't know of it." Ram apologized, and smiled at Aeris. "Heh, alright then, let's move away from here for awhile, or I bet that we will be targeted by other creatures." he assumed, and moved away from the mountain they stood on. "C'mon Aeris, we need to go." said Ram, holding his right hand to Aeris.

He grasped his hand and walked up beside him, feeling both awkward, weird and.. so happy. "It's okay.. you didn't know" he said, realizing he hadn't said anything for a while. "But please call me by my name, not bird, half bird or man.. Aeris is the one I am, none other" he said, being glad that what he had said had come out the way he wanted. His heart was raising, and he hoped that Rammy wouldn't notice.. he'd probably be creeped out and disgusted and throw him away, like everyone else had done.

(Nearly forgot)

As the Promethean sank into the sea, Green cawed loudly.

"How dare you destroy my creation! You know ho annoying it is to create those? Very!" Soon enough, other rocks hovered for a short period, and Green's petite eyes glowed an eerie yellow. With another wing stroke, the boulders were sent flying towards them.

Ram saw the rocks heading towards them from the corner of his eye, and knew this wasn't over. HE sighed loudly and turned around. "Does this never end?" he asked himself, and summoned fire to his right arm as he let go of Aeris. He concentrated the flames in his arm, then shaped a short 'blade' of fire around it as he leaped to one of the larger rocks and slashed at it.

Aeris had reacted as well, quickly throwing a dagger towards that raven. Somehow that raven had controlled those rocks, and if they didn't take it out it would most likely continue to throw rocks and golems at them. His keen eyesight had helped him aiming at the raven between the rain of rocks, but he was not sure if he had gotten it completely right. "Come on.. hit it" he thought, staring at the raven.

Green was untouched. As Ram threw himself in front of the boulder to hopefully cut it, nothing happened and the rock hurtled past. They all crashed around Aeris. Only one getting mildly close. Of course, they never hit him. Green cawed lowly. She rose higher into the air, mist seemed to be closing in now. Once again.

He yelped and jumped back a little as the Rocks crashed down around him. He stared up in the sky, seeing that bird take off and the mist starting to return again. He realized Rammy was nowhere to be seen, and they needed to stick together if the mist rolled in on them again. "Rammy!?" he called out looking around, anxiously.

Green realized her brother was dead, Dom having crushed him easily. She cawed once, then disappeared into the mist. She had no thoughts of returning, she'd have to revive her brother first. Joy.

~Chapter 2; Dungeon Ahoy?~

The mist was strong, yet the waves were weak. Dominic gathered his shirt and coat, and walked over to the edge of the opening, peering down. Where the pedestal once stood was now an opening. He though he could make out the figure of a spiral staircase, but hey. He was most likely wrong. Still, they had to find a way off this island. Once way or another. This was their best best.

Several bangs echoed across the island, and goblins seem to pop up from their holes. Yet they wielded no weapons.
