Welcome to song of the day~. Exactly as the above says, I will be posting a song. However the song title and artist title will be removed from the song.

 

Once you download and listen to the song, simply reply in this topic what you thought of the song using the following template. (Of course the template will be change according to the song. A song with no lyrics of course is not going to have a lyric section.)

What's the Hook? this is a common problem people have from my experience of posting the template, maybe this will help you a bit more.[ A hook is a musical idea, often a short riff, passage, or phrase, that is used in popular music to make a song appealing and to "catch the ear of the listener" ]

 

What is the purpose of this thread?

Simply a matter of seeing what the general public like in a song. Also to expose people to genres, bands, artist, music they would of never heard of.

 

Primarily what genres will it be?

A mix of everything, as I said. This is to expose the general audience to music they probably never heard of before. So I would most likely never post the same band/artist or genre twice back-to-back.

 

Ohh~ I have a song recommendation, can I add it?

Of course, I am not some unnamed audiophile guru that knows every song in the world(I wish :3). Simply PM the song name, or a link to the song, etc.. and I will try to get it in, of course I am not going to put every song in depending how it is.

 

I'm pretty young, is it safe for me to listen.

Maybe..I say maybe, because I will in fact be posting a wide variety of music, some which may have controversial lyrics or profanity. However if it does have I will give a warning.

 

((also if I missed something like I didn't know the song has profanity and I have failed to mention so, please PM or tell me. I don't do that on purpose, I'm not that much of a douche.))

 

TIP: Listen to the song and formulate your opinion before reading the topic, people generally don't tend to enjoy or even try to listen to a song if other people say it is bad.

that's true, you can always wait until a mod comes and approves it's safe, but till than. I'll post it on youtube it should be up in a matter of time. Sorry, but yeah it is completely safe thought.

 

EDIT: I noticed, it sucks we live in a world that we can't even be sure if your friend's(or a random complete stranger that is on your forum..lol) song is actually a virus D=.

Worst Part: There is no bad part. >:/

Instrumental: I jizzed. Nuff' said.

Guitar/Bass works & Drum works: Amazing. The violin is the best part though IMO.

it's actually not that well known, well not here anyways. + I was starting out something simple.

 

On the 2nd part, I just realized that now, and I am not worried. Actually from another forum someone said the same thing and I was wondering what he ment until I noticed my itunes tab *facepalm*. (lol didn't delete tag fail)

because some people don't listen to some songs just based on the title. Either that, or just the people I know. Also I will be posting from youtube tomorrow, also I will be listening to your song. ((Screw the rules...Wait they're my rules D=))

 

 

Lyrics: How good the lyrics are in your opinion.

Vocalwork: 6/10. The vocals are clear and I can understand the lyrics, but I'm never really a big fan of screaming.

The Hook: 10/10 Sexy to say the least.

Best Part: The hook itself was sexy. Love the violin playing, also enjoyed the guitar. Can't say the same for the drums, it's pretty meh to me; but in this type of song it's fine.

Worst Part: The screaming.

Instrumental: 9/10 Violin works great with the song, but tends to outstay it's welcome during certain parts.

Guitar/Bass works & Drum works: 8/10 The guitar and bassed mimicked eachother as they played back up for the violins, but it sounds great. The little guitar fill/passage near the end was pretty nice too. The drumming worked but it felt like there was parts it could of done something great.

Overall: 8/10 would listen again just for the violin, would love to see screamless version.(sorry to any screaming fans)
