Pokémon - The Prelude [Advanced] [PG13] [Not Accepting/Started]

Zero ran closer to the Magikarp and called over Growlithe. "Growlithe use Quick Attack Magikarp using half power Go!" Growlithe slowed down a little bit then leaped up into the air and tackled Magikarp to the side. "Alright lets try this again pokeball Go-" another pokeball came over faster than Zero's pokeball and captured the Magikarp. The pokeball shook three times then clicked. "Hey what's the big idea you jerks!?!?!?" The team had R's on there shirts. "I was gonna capture that magikarp!"

[Sidepipe]

At home, Alex inspected the fragment. "Hmm, I wonder what this writing means... oh, well." He put the fragment in his backpack and went back out to try to catch another Pokèmon.

 

Once outside, he headed back to Viridian Forest. There, he found a Pikachu after walking seemingly everywhere in the forest. He released his Abra and yelled "Hidden Power! Go!" The move hit, catching the Pikachu by surprise. The Pikachu used Thundershock, which also hit. It was more powerful than Alex expected. He yelled "One more time! Hidden Power!" Abra just managed to use the move before dodging another Thundershock from a highly weakened Pikachu.

 

Alex hurled a Pokè Ball, and after about 20 seconds, the Pikachu was caught. He had no time to celebrate, though, because Abra was on the verge of fainting and needed to get to a Pokèmon Center fast. Alex ran to the Viridian City Pokèmon Center to get his Pokèmon healed. After about an hour, the Pokèmon were healed, and Alex set off to battle the first Gym Leader.

OOC: Imma be playing roles of Gym Leaders and stuff if I please as well, just so you know. Anyone may take control of a leader in a gym battle (as long as you're not the challenger) but only I can take control over them otherwise.. except if you ask and I think it's all right that is ^^ Oh yeah, pictures of all Gym LEaders and a minor info is availble at the website :D

 

Rocky had rushed back to his gym were he kept some of his other Pokémon. He had no idea were that runt had gone, but he was going to track him down. No one stold Rockys pokémon and got away with it, no one! He pulled out a drawer, inside it laid several pokéballs, all containing pokémon that were still in training. He picked up three of them and strapped them to his belt, hoping that they would be strong enough.

 

OOC: Just realised.. Magnet Soldier, .:Ultimate Lifeform:., Imma change your pokémons moves a litle. They are too good atm. Flamethrower will be changed to Ember (flamethrower is a power move, as of now all pokémon should only now basic moves). Idk about Shadow Ball and Iron Tail. Just thought that your pkmn would be at very high levels to know those moves which means you wouldn't be able to control them. You will both gain 10pts each though as I didn't think of this earlier.

Danny was asleep and had been for the past hour or so, he only woke up when he was splashed by some very cold water. "Hey! What's going on?" He blink as the sun sun into his eyes. "Oh hey Krabby what is it?" Krabby nipped Danny's T-shirt and pulled him along. "ARRGGGH! Be careful don't rip it!" He stumbled along behind his pokemon until he came to a tree. Krabby looked up and Danny followed suit. "Woh! That is very very wierd." There was a Magikarp and a Goldeen stuck in a tree."Alright lets get you down." He said as he began climbing, "How did you get up here in the first place? Probably some careless fisherman getting too excited." He untangled both of the fish in turn and threw them back into the pond. SNAP. "Oh that can't be good." SNAP! "HELP!" was all he got out before the branch snapped off completley adn he fell to the ground.

[Naimo]

"Well Kris," said Gina as she heard Kris' offer. "I think we should have a little calm down first, no? Tauros isn't exactly at full health either, though Blinky did come off worse." She reached into her bag for her potion, and gave it to the bull Pokemon to drink. Ten minutes passed, then Gina patted his head. "He seems to have recovered ... he's a fast recoverer." Then she looked at Kris again. "Now that he's properly healed, I'll accept your challenge."

OOC: Iron tail can be slam But can i please keep shadowball, it's my signiture move!

 

IC: Kris heard a cry from town, "What the hell was that?!" Kris shouted. "lets go everyone!"

 

OOC: BTW Can I be the cinnibar island gym leader when we get there? If there was a dark gym leader i'd be him but there isn't one yet is there.

Dallas was quickly at his feet, still holding Blinky in a tight grip. "That can't be good" he mumbled, looking down at his partner. Blinky nodded in response, Dallas didn't know whether or not he did understand what he said, but that didn't matter. He started running towards the area where he thought the sound was originally coming from. He didn't pay much attention to the people around him as he was running though and ended up running into someone. "Hey watch your step kid!" the man said, grabbing a hold of Dallas. "I'm sorry, sir.. Rocky?" he gasped the last part, staring at the man in front of him.

 

OOC: Yes you may keep shadow ball as it is your signature move. You may be Blaine later on if you wish.. as long as you're not him when you battle him ;)

Gina looked startled. "What's going on?" At once she placed the reigns back onto her Tauros and swiftly jumped onto his back. She swung one leg over his body and urged her Tauros on, following Dallas and Kris. Once again the crowd parted for her, afraid of being gored; in the heat of the moment, Gina had forgotten her riding helmet but she didn't care.

[Master Red]

"I don't have time for autographs kid, I have a creep to catch!" He said, ruffling Dallas' hair and then taking off in the opposite direction. Dallas just stared after him, he didn't know for how long, but it was probably a longer while as a man had come up to him and asked if he was all right. He blushed and cleared his throat, "Yeah, just fine.. thank you" he mumbled, feeling like he wanted to sink through the ground.

"Hey get back here!" Zero shouted at the top of his lungs. He finally caught one of the grunts that captured his (sort of his) Magikarp.

 

"Hey kid this is my pokemon, i caught fair and square."

 

Zero jumped up snatching the pokeball containing the magikarp. This is my magikarp! And i can prove it to you.

 

"Oh yeah kid? Well then would you be willing tobattle me for it?"

 

"I'd take you on any day! So any rules you wanna set down?" Zero calmed down just a bit

 

"Why, thank you for your generous offer. The Rules for this battle will be:

 

1. We can only use 1 pokemon

2. The money prize will be 200$"

OOC: sorry everyone i just can't really think of what to write.

 

IC: "Well thats a surprise, you dont see a gym leader chasing a gang of criminals everyday." Kris said to himself, "Maybe I'll follow him see where he's going. Maybe I'll find out who these criminals are." Kris started chasing after the angry gym leader, making sure when he saw anyone that he hid down an alley when they went. Luckily he was a fast runner or else he'd have lost Rocky straight away.

[Proto]

Kecko while running after Rocky, saw a boy running after him as well. "Hey, so what are you doing here?" he asked while being followed by Stocko. Then he just said " Poison Sting attack!" then the rodent unleashed a amount of purple spines of energy at the crooks while Kecko just stared at the foes.

OOC: Actually It is a very Interesting subject and answers almost every big pokemon fan's main question' date=' [i']What was the pokemon world like before Ash[/i] (And other main characters of course like professer oak for example as he created the pokedex). Also Ash doesn't become the best trainer ever as he doesn't win The Jhoto or Kanto pokemon league and would easily lose against The sinnoh champ, Cynthia.

As Kris started to chase after Rocky, Dallas was left confused at the middle of the street. He saw that they headed down the more shady parts of town, a place he had no interest in getting himself to. He didn't want to get robbod of his money, his belongings OR his pokémon.. eh, Blinky. He sighed a little and started walking towards one of the nearby forests, hoping to be able to catch a pokémon. He knew he needed to do that in order to have any chanse against Rocky later on.

OOC: Sorry i just wanted to reply to his complaint as it annoys me, They think they're pokemon fans and they turn down an idea like this, Jeez man.

 

IC: Kris saw dallas run off somewhere but couldn't afford to check where, If these guys took a gym leaders pokemon theyed definately try to take more. Kris didn't like the thought. But If these guys were that tough aswell, Then if I defeated them then he'd be really powerful and his vulpix might evolve. (OOC: I know it probably won't but he has hope)IC again: You never know i might even find a fire stone. Kris thought but then thought he was getting his hopes too high and straying off task. I better get this over and done with as soon as i see them.

"Stop right there punk!" Rocky exclaimed, appearing in front of the running grunt, pointing at him. "I had high hopes for you, beating me like that for the badge. I saw potential in you, but now you just disgust me! Hand over my pokémon or I'll beat you 'til you drop them!" He said, taking a step closer to the Grunt, who'd now stopped, panting from all tyhat running. "How did you get in front of me?" he asked, gasping for breath. "This is my town, I know all the short cuts, now hand them over!" he said, holding out his hand. "FINE TAKE THEM!" the grunt yelled, throwing the pokéballs at Rocky. "Go Koffing, use Smoke Screen!" The grunt then yelled, being covered in a thick gas, along with most of their surroundings.

 

"You see any pokémon Blinky?" Dallas asked, scouting the grounds for just about anything that might come up. Blinky did the same but looked at him and shook his head. "yeah I don't see any either" he said, pouting a little. "Who knew finding pokémon aws so hard?" he sighed, putting his hands on his back, stretching a little.

 

OOC: yeah, I know, but please try to keep yourself from doing taht ^^'

"When he finally caught up with rocky he was about to jump in and call out his pokemon but a koffing used smokescreen so he couldn't see. As he tried to find his pokeballs and get his bearings, he heard someone running of, "Hey...[cough-cough] he's getting away[cough]." Kris said, hardly managing to stop himself choking, "Get after him vulpix, growlithe." His pokemon were about to attack the thief, when they noticed their master on the floor, "I just need some help up thats all. Don't worry." Kris managed to splutter out but still his pokemon didn't chase the thief. Instead they tried to help their master up with little success.

[Master Red]

When the fog eased the Grunt was gone, Rocky had picked up the balls thrown at him, noticing that they were in fact his. He smiled in relief and strapped them to his belt, along with the other two pokémon. He didn't get why teh kid had given him his pokémon back though, he could've just used the Smoke Screen and taken off with them. Maybe there was some good in that kid after all?

 

"Shrew!" Blinky exclaimed pointing to something moving in the bushes. "Good eyes buddy! Now let's be quiet and wait to see what it is" Dallas said, making a hyssh-sign towards Blinky, who copied him. Out of the bushes a small Ratata jumped out, apparently having hidden food in it's cheeks. "Blinky, use Scratch!" Dallas exclaimed, pointing at the ratata. Blinky jumped at it and scratched the ratata. The ratata quickly jumped away and shot the seeds it had hidden in it's cheeks at Blinky (OOC: LOL, foe Ratata used bullet seed xD), taking a defensive stance. "Sand Attack, then Scratch again!" Dallas shouted. Sandshrew threw some dirt towards the Ratata but it missed, the Ratata evaiding it quickly and then tackled it. "wow it's fast..." Dallas mumbled, astonished by the Speed of that Ratata. He shook his head a little, "Scratch it!" he yelled. Blinky jumped at the Ratata when it had it's back towards him and scratched it. The Ratata squealed and Dallas saw his chanse, throwing a Pokéball at it.

Kris slumped of realising rocky had his pokemon back now. "Now i better go find some pokemon that are water or ground type as rock beats my fire, I know, Mount moon is near here. I could go catch a machop or something like that." Kris said, running of towards the mountain. He stopped at the grass out side it knowing that the pokemon inside would be very tough. He was walking round for hours, running from ratatas and nidorans. He finally came across a machop but it was with a bell sprout. "Two pokemon at once, it's lucky that i went to the pokemart and got some more poke balls before i left, now i have three but only one at the end of this battle." The battle commenced with vulpix using ember and growlithe using bite. Both the foe pokemon were hit but they counter attacked, the machop with karate chop and the bellsprout with razor leaf. Later, "Phew i caught them, that was hard. I better get to a pokemon center before i run into more strong pokemon." Kris said as he ran of.

OOC: ooh, Dallas parents live around that area :D

 

The pokéball shook one final time and then clicked. "YES!" Dallas exclaimed, jumping a little, Blinky joining him. Dallas picked Blinky up and spun him around in the air, laughing a little. "We did it! We caught our first Pokémon!" He exclaimed, and tossed Blinky up in the air, catching him. Blinky looked happy but dizzy and Dallas realized that he probably shouldn't have spun him around so fast. He placed Blinky down on the ground and picked up the Pokéball containing the Rattata. "Now.. what should I call you?" he mumbled, juggling the ball between his hands. He smiled and looked at the ball, spinning it on his index finger a little before he grasped it. "vermin.." he said, and attached it to his belt. He knew Rattata evolved into Raticate, and like Blinky he wanted to keep it as a Rattata. Raticate looked so scary and ugly. He shivered a little and then realized he probably should take his pokémon to the pokémon center.

"Hey, you you're that Rocky guy right?" Kecko said as Stocko stood nearby, panting for breath while Kecko himself was quite tired due to all the running. "I heard a call for help earlier, could you direct me to it?" he then pulled out a Pokeball and retreived Stocko while taking a seat. He then checked the surrounding area, "Hmmm, smog traces, a robbery nearby no doubt, a Koffing must have made the escape plan."

[Naimo]

Meanwhile, away from Dallas and Kris, Gina had turned her attention to the pond, where several water Pokemon - Magikarp amongst them - were rumoured to be. Having 'borrowed' a rod off a nearby fishermen, she was going to attempt to reel one in. Choosing a destination, she threw it and sat patiently, watching the bait bob on the surface.

"Well i'd better go challange rocky now. I know i'll win, I just know it." Kris went of to the gym to challange rocky. He walked past lot's of people battling and noone cared about the gym leaders pokemon being stolen anymore. After a while he saw a building in the distance. "That must be the gym!" Kris cried. as he came in rocky was having a rest after running through town. "Hey rocky are you taking challenges?" Kris asked the gym leader.

[Master Red]

Rocky yawned a little and pointed on a note on a nearby wall. 'We're opening again at 18:00'. "Me and my pokémon are having our rest right now, come back in half an hour" he said, turning over in the small couch.

 

"There you go, your pokémon are all right now" The nurse said, smiling warmly towards Dallas as she handed him his pokémon. "Thank you" he said as he picked up Vermin's and Blinky's pokéballs.

Gina yelled happily as she reeled her bait in, hanging from which was a flailing Magikarp. She wooped and Tauros snorted happily; finally, a new Pokemon! OK, she didn't exactly catch it typically but it was still hers. She took out a Pokeball and chucked it slightly, enough so it hit and caught the fish Pokemon. Still happy, she gave the rod back and decided to rejoin Dallas and Kris.
