Pokémon - The Prelude [Advanced] [PG13] [Not Accepting/Started]

[Master Red]

"I was showing Kirstan here the way over there.. other tahn that I'm pretty much clueless" he said and laughed a little, nervously. "You see I've just headed out on my journy, but I don't really know what to do with myself as of now. I would like to go challenge Rocky, but Im not good enough yet. And Blinky is a bad match up agains his Rock and Ground-Type pokémon" he said, looking down at Blinky, smiling a little. Blinky looked questionably back at Dallas and then poked him in the chest, leaving Dallas with a (-__-) face.

[Naimo]

"I see. I'm after a few Pokemon myself, namely a Magikarp ... I'd love to have a Gyrados. I'm also eager to get a Shellder, then when I can buy a Water Stone I'll evolve it into a Cloyster," said Gina. "Say, how do you fancy a light Pokemon battle between Blinky and my Tauros? I guess he needs some battle experience, it's been nearly a month since he last had a fight."

[Sidepipe]

Alex was walking around in Viridian Forest. Something reflected light in the grass, and that caught his attention. He went up and picked it up. It was a fragment of a polished stone tablet, he suspected. It had strange writing on it, probably an ancient, forgotten language. He put it in his pocket and decided to go home.

 

While he walked through the grass, he saw a strange pink figure flying over the forest. He thought "Probably my imagination." Then he headed home.

[Master Red]

"a..against him?" Dallas asked nervously, looking from Taurus to Blinky. He had barely ever been in a pokémon battle before, and he sure as hell had never been in a battle with something as large and intimidating as a Taurus. "I.. I don't know. I don't want Blinky to get hurt" he stammered, looking worriedly at the large Taurus.

 

 

OOC: ALL CHARACTERS STARTS OFF WITH 2 POKEBALLS and 1 POTION BTW!

(anyone having an additional pokémon in the start [there was 1 or 2] have only 1 pokéball and 1 potion)

[Naimo]

"Don't worry, he'll take it easy on you," said Gina. "Not to mention Blinky's smaller and more agile than Tauros." She got off his back and began to untie his reins. "Now Tauros, dont attack too aggressively OK? Take it easy on him." Tauros snorted in response and retreated backwards like Gina, though stopping earlier than her. "So ... are you going to battle?"

[Master Red]

"Are we going to battle here!?" he exclaimed, throwing his arms out and looked around. He had completely forgotten that he was holding Blinky which resulted Blinky being dropped on the ground. It didn't seem to get hurt from the fall though and got up quite quickly, brushing itself off. "We should probably move away from town you know, people and buildings can get hurt" he pointed out scratching the back of his head.

[Naimo]

Gina just shrugged and lead her Tauros out of town and into one of the surrounding plains. "Here we go, a nice natural environment, no?" she asked as she and Tauros stopped and faced Blinky and Dallas. "Well, I'll let you go first."

[Master Red]

"You sure you wanna do this Blinky?" he asked looking down at his partner. "Shrew" it sneezed as it marched out on what had become their 'battlefield'. It took some kind of battle stance that looked a bit like one from a Kung Fu movie. Dallas sweat dropped and seriously fellt like sinking through the ground. "why does he have to be sooo embarassing?" he thought and looked down at the ground. He cleared his throat a little and then smiled a little. "okay, let's do this buddy!" he exclaimed and clenched his fist a little, attempting to cheer himself on. "Use Sand-Attack!" he ordered. Blinky nodded a little and then grabbed a fistful of dirt and threw it towards Taurus face.

[Naimo]

Tauros snorted and stomped his hind left leg on the ground as the sand hit him. "Tauros, give it a Horn Attack!" She watched as the bull snorted and charged, its head lowered to hit Blinky directly if it's horns made contact. The ground shook under the trampling power of the Tauros, who so seldom battled. Yet watching it charge now gave no one the impression of the lack of battles it had been engaged in since it left childhood and entered adulthood.

[Master Red]

Blinky lost its balance from the rumbles in the ground and had a hard time to get up. Dallas knew it would be hit if he didn't do something quickly. "Do another Sand Attack and then go into Defense Curl!" He yelled, knowing that was all he could do for now. Blinky threw another clump of sand towards the Taurus and then curled itself up like a football. Dallas knew Blinky would still be hurt from the attack, but he would make it out more safely now.

[Naimo]

Tauros snorted even furthur as the sand hit him again, but that didn't phase him. Suddenly he caught one of his horns underneath Blinky and tossed him into the air like a football. He moved back to watch Blinky hit the ground, rather than make another move. Gina watched, wondering if Blinky would recover from that move.

[Master Red]

Blinky kept himself curled up as a football, ironicly being kicked around like one. He hit the ground hard, but thanks to the Defense Curl he was able to get up without too many injuries. He rolled around on the ground for a while and then got up, looking a bit nausious. "You okay?" Dallas asked worriedly, wanting to know if he could continue. Blinky gave him a thumbs up and then shook his body a little, as if to shake himself back into consiousness. Dallas was relieved, and since Blinky seemed to want to continue he'd carry on. "Now, jump up on it's back and po- I mean Scratch it!" he yelled, grinning. Blinky took off, running towards the big bad Taurus and then jumped, aiming for it's back.

[Naimo]

"Now!" yelled Gina, though she gave no specific command. The moment Blinky landed, Tauros buckled so violently he managed to shake the Sandshrew off his back. "Let's go! Horn Attack again!" The Taurous gored Blinky again, though this time sending it flying back towards Dallas rather than up into the air like last time. "Are you alright Tauros?" The bull Pokemon snorted, though a scratch was visible from where Blinky had attacked him.

[Magnet Soldier]

"Nice battle. go on blinky!!" Kris said watching from the side lines, "Just make sure you don't hit me. If you can't see my growlithe has already burn't me battling my vulpix!" The battle was Intense, well a little but it looked intense from Kris' point of veiw because the only battles he'd ever seen were of people challenging the new (Enter island's name) fire type gymleader, Blaine. They didn't stand a chance against him Kris thought while onlooking the game as the referee.

Zero walked away from the gym and quickly ran to the nearest pond. He pulled out his fishing rod and called out Growlithe. "

 

ooc: Sorry guys i'll be back someone broke into our cars!

He caught Blinky, the impact made him fall over. 'you okay Blinky?' he asked checking it for bruises and injuries. Blinky got up and started to walk out on the field again, but fell over after just a few steps. 'Blinky!' he exclaimed and picked him up. 'okay, you win' he said as he started to look around his back pack for that potion he had saved. He found it and started to spray it on Blinky.

 

Ooc: you know youll only catch magikarp, right?

Age: 17

Personality: A loner, enjoys doing everything on his own. Sometimes gets caught up in the excitement of the battle and continues to fight even after he has won, but is really a caring person when it comes to his pokemon.

Apperence:

Bio: Didnt really stay in one place long enough to call it a home, he stayed longest in Pewter City. Was orginally from Pallet town, was friends with an older trainer which taught him everything he knows. His parents were both Pokemon Breeders, but did'nt want Kallen to follow in their footsteps. So after Kallen caught his first pokemon(A Pikachu he named Kai, after his friend), his parents told him that he was going to become a pokemon trainer. When Kallen set out on his journey he was hated by other trainers, which is what probably turned him into a loner. Now Kallen is desperatly trying to get his Pikachu to Evolve, but is having hard luck as he can't find a thunderstone.

Starting pokemon: Kai (pikachu)

Moves: Thunderbolt: iron tail, tackle, Volt tackle.

"Blinky is unable to battle, Gina wins! Great battle you two, much better than the ones on Cinnabar island. Unlucky blinky." Kris said congratulating Gina and comiserating (don't know a word for this so...) Dallas. "Now Gina how about a battle with me just as long as i get to use both my pokemon. I wouldn't stand a chance with only one!" Said kris.

[Aesirson]

KC was once again carrying her Clefairy and met up with Dallas and Gina.

"Hey, guys!" She said and smiled. "I saw the battle, and I'm sorry for your loss."

She then noticed Dallas' Potion.

"Oh, you won't need that! Clefairy, heal him with Moonlight!"

Clefairy hopped on the ground, and her fingers started to glow and when she touched Blinky it seemed to feel better.

 

OoC: I know that Moonlight only can heal the user in the games, but whatevah.

[Master Red]

Blinky seemed to get better quite quickly, most likely due to clefairy. Dallas smiled and hugged Blinky, 'im glad youre all right' he mumbled, smiling widely. 'Thanks for that' he said, looking up at KC. He stacked the potion in his bag again and got up, holding on to Blinky.

IC: Zero threw his fishing pole into the water hoping for a catch. Suddenly a big tug pulled on the fishing pole. Zero plunged it back and a huge(ish) Magikarp leaped onto Zero. "Ahh! Growlithe use faint attack!" Growlithe hit the magikarp square in the face. Zero got up "Now Pokeball go!" The pokeball soared into the air and hit magikarp. The pokeball captured magikarp inside. The ball shook three times then Magikarp popped back out.

ooc: lol at failing to catch a magikarp xD although it was apparently huge <.<

Poliwag is not catchable with a rod you decide to start out with, you'll have to buy a better rod for that.

 

Rocky walked out of his gym, stretching a little after the days battles. Mostly wimps had been coming around, but he had acctually handed out a badge today. He didn't know the kid's name, but he had been good with pokémon, that was for sure. He wouldn't be surprisded to see great things from that guy later on. He heard someone kick the gravel behind him and he turned around. "Oh, it's you.." he said, then everything went black before his eyes.

He woke up several hours later, lying in a bed at the hospital. "wha?" he looked around, feeling his forehead. he had a huge bump there, the runt had apparently managed to knock him out. He got up but flinched as he felt his pokéballs were not at his belt. he looked at the nightstand, no pokéballs there either! "THAT RUNT STOLD MY POKÉMON!" he yelled, being heard several ailes away.

[Proto]

Kecko began pacing around Pewter City wondering what to do. "Now if I start by challenging Rocky, then I'm certainly going to start badly. However if Stocko wants a challenge I shouldn't try to restrict him." He then heard the cry of a nearby person who had just apparently been robbed of his pokemon. Kecko then turned to the sound of the scream and quickly toke his Pokeball and tossed it into the air. Soon came out a rodent-like creature with a large horn portruding from its head. Kecko then said "No time for games Stocko, we have to find that person." And began running of to the location of the noise with the purple rodent following behind quickly.

Danny and Krabby had been walking for hours and as was Danny's luck, they hadn't seen a single pokemon. "Hey Krabby do you know where we are?" Krabby gave out a little call to say he didn't. "Neither do I." The kept walking. Krabby, being both a water type and a pokemon, sensed the pond first. He ran off, "Hey where are you going?" Shouted Dan after his Crab pokemon. He pushed through some thick bushes and ended up by the side of a pond.
