"Saitheree!"...I activate polimerization and fuse..."Saitheree!!"...with my..."Saitheree!!!"...to summon! "SAITHEREE WAKE UP!!!!!!!!".

Finally awoken by the sound of his brother's voice, Saitheree opened his eyes.

"Hey Sytheren, I was just about to summon my best monster dude!!"

"Well sorreeee bro, but mom was really rushing me to wake you up! Today is the big day!"

"Big day?"

"Duh bro, did you forget about the UDT again?"

"Say wah? The UDT? We are we going to watch it? Sweet!!"

"Oh My Gosh, you have the thickest head in the world. No bro, we are DUELING in the UDT!!!"

"Wait wait wait, run the by me again. We are actually goin to DUEL in the ULTIMATE DUELING TOURNAMENT?"

"YES!!! Thats what I've been trying to tell you for the last five minutes!!"

"Oh. Well you should've told me that before! Lets get deck building!!"

"*Sigh* Why do I even bother..."

 

2 hours later, the Kaiba Dome was filled with supporters of various duelists and the announcer was shouting out information.

"AND THE FIRST DUEL IS ABOUT TO BEGIN!!!!! WELCOME TO THE STAGE, SAITHEREE AND ASREED!!!!!! IT'S TIME!!! WHEN YOUR READY DUELISTS!!"

 

"Alright, it's time for Smash, Bang and Kaboom!! In other words, Let's Duel!!"

"What ever you say, Saitheree..."

"DUEL!!"

"Seen that you are at a disadvantage because you are younger, Saitheree, I will let you go first."

"Why thankyou. I draw!! I set a card face down and activate, Double Summon! This lets me normal summon twice this turn. So I summon my Cyber Tutu, but then sacrifice it for my Summoned Skull!!

"Well, now that you've summoned some monsters, I can special summon 2 Natura Cosmos Beetles in Defence mode!

" Humph, your move!"

"I draw! Now I summon my Naturia Flight Fly, and I tune one of my Cosmos Beetles to my Flight Fly to summon, Naturia Beast!!"

The two little creatures dissapeared and were replaced by a green tiger-like creature.

"I also set a card face down. Your move."

"My draw. Oooh, we seem to enjoy Synchro summoning monsters. I summon my Frequncy Magician, but the tune it to my Summoned Skull to Synchro Summon, STARDUST DRAGON!!!!!!"

"Humph, I am quite lucky to have this facedown. Go! Bottomless Trap Hole!"

"Well, Ya know, I'm lucky to have this facedown! Go! Dark Bribe!"

"Humph, fine"

Asreed drew a card.

"Now Stardust Dragon attacks your Naturia Beast!!"

Asreed LP: 4000 --> 3700

"Your move."

"I draw, and summon my Naturia Dragonfly in defence mode, but now I tune my other Cosmos Beetle to my Dragonfly to Synchro Summon, Naturia Balkion!!!!! It's your turn"

"I draw! And I activate Pot of Greed, letting me draw two cards. Now I'm summoning Fire Trooper. But he's not sticking around, because I play his effect to destroy him, and 1000 of your lifepoints!"

"Humph"

3700 --> 2700

"Now I activate my Axe of Dispair, ezuiping it to my Stardust Dragon, who attacks your Balkion."

The smaller dragon shattered and Asreed's lifepoints dropped yet again.

2700 --> 1700

"Your turn"

"I draw. An I also play Pot of Greed, and summon Naturia Rosewhip in attack mode. Now I play monster Reborn and summon my Naturia Balkion! But now I tune my Rosewhip to my Balkion to Synchro Summon, Naturia Gaodrake!!!!!! Now I play my Mystical Space Typhoon Spell Card to destroy your Axe. Now Gaodrake attacks your Stardust Dragon!!!"

The Dragin shattered and scattared stardust everywhere.

Saitheree LP: 4000 --> 3500

"Your turn"

"I draw, and summon a monster in face-down defence."

"That all? Then I draw and activate Nobleman of Crossout, destroying your monster."

The Card rose up, showing Kaiser Sea Horse, then shattered.

"Now my Naturia Gaodrake attacks you directly!!"

3500 --> 500

"Your last move I think!"

"I draw. And It will be my best. I activate Polymerization, Fusing, from my hand, the Black Luster Soldier and the Light Hex-Sealed Fusion to summon..."

The two monsters appeared on the field, as the smaller one burst open to reveal a large dragon, but they both quickly dissapeared into the vortex.

"...my Dragon, Master, Knight!!!!!!!!!!"

Another monster spiraled out of the vortex. A huge dragon being ridden by an almost insignificant Black Luster Soldier.

"Now go! Dragon Master Knight! Attack with Dragon Saber Blast!!!! Finish the Job!!!!!

The dragon emited three white fireballs out of it's mouth as the Knight shot a blast out of his sword, destroying the flowery lion that was it's opponent.

Asreed LP: 1700 --> GAME

The holograms dissapeared and the crowed roared it's approval.

As the two duelists shook hands, the younger one whipsered somthing into the older one's ear.

"And he wasn't even my best card."

It's not that good from what I've seen. Describe! And also, the main character's got a REALLY weird name. It's so short, too. I need to come back later with a full pro-and-con analysis later.

Well, almost the entire story is composed of dialogue. We don't know what anyone looks like, what the stadium looks like, what the cards look like... Heck, Asreed isn't even properly introduced. Ultimately, the Duels are trying to carry the story, and they can't do that. Duels should be part of the story, not the whole thing.

Hmmm, your right. Well, here goes nothing.

It was the second day of the tournament. Everyone in the Kaiba Dome seemed to be talking at once. No one knew which arena would be used for this round, whether it would be the duel arenas marked out in white on the brown stage in the middle, like the last duel, or the oval shaped turbo arena around the outside. But everyone's question was soon answered.

A puff of smoke expoded from the entrance to the arena, as a black duel runner blasted out of he opening. He was wearing a black riding suit, with his long brown hair flowning out from underneath his golden dragon helmet. Then, on the other side of the stadium, the other opening exploded in smoke, and a perfectly silver duel runner blasted out, having an almost robotic appearence. He too wore a black riding suit, and his helmet looked more like a robot head than anything else. Both duelists took a starting lap before lining up at the starting line.

"AND THE NEXT ROUND IS ABOUT TO GET UNDER WAY!!!!!!" cried the MC.

"WHEN YOUR READY, DUELISTS!!!!!"

Both turbo duelists activated their Speed World cards, and as the purple couloured world expanded out from them, they each drew their 5 cards.

"START THE COUNTDOWN!!! LET US WITNESS SAITHEREE AND ZUNDET'S DUEL!!!!"

The countdown machanism appeared, and a monotone voice spoke.

Ready. Set. Duel.

At the final the word the two duel runners blasted off onto the circuit and the duel had begun.

"I shall go first!" decided Zundet.

"I draw! I think I'll start off rather big, with my Cyber Ade in attack mode!"

A human sized robot jumped out of the summoning portal, void of any weapons, he seemed rather weak. ATK/? DEF/?

"Now, what my Cyber Ade can do, is I can choose it's attack and defence points, from either 2300 and 700, or 700 and 2300. And i choose to give him 2300 attack and 700 defence!"

A gun appeared in each in each of Cyber Ade's hand and his points rose. ATK/2300 DEF/700

"And because of the is effect, his name is changed to Cyber Attackerade. Now it is your turn."

"Why thankyou." replied Saitheree.

"I draw!"

He examined his hand, deciding that based on this hand, he would go for the fire trooper combo.

"I summon, Fire Trooper in attack mode!"

A flaming warrior floated out of the summoning portal.

"And now I play his ability, leting me sacrifice him to deal 1000 damage to you."

Zundet [__------] (New LP system. Every dash equals 500 lp]

"And now, because I have a speed counter, I activate, Speed Spell - Revival Power! This is like Monster Reborn, only faster! Unfortunatly I have to discard a card for every speed counter I didn't have, but It's a small price to pay."

The flaming warrior crawled up out of his grave, but then exploded and fell in again.

Zundet [____----]

"Now I set two cards face down and end."

"Good, so it's my draw!"

"And I think I'll summon Cyber Aiderade in attack mode. Now I set a card face down and, because I have 2 speed counbters, I can play Speed Spell - Card Destruction!! Now we both discard our hands, and draw the same number of cards. Now I activate Cyber Aiderade's special ability, which lets me pay 400 life points to summon 2 Cyber -ade monsters from my grave, like Cyber Saberade, and Cyber Cannonade."

Zundet [_____---]

"Now I play my face down, Speed Spell - Monster Retreival! I now discard 1 card, to add a monster to my hand. And now, I release Cyber Aiderade, Cyber Cannonade, and Cyber Saberade to summon, my most fearsome beast! Behold, SUPREME CANNON DRAGON!!!!!!!!"

The summoning portal that appeared was barely wide enough to fit the giant dragon through, but it managed, and the dragon roared it his new enemy. ATK/5000 DEF/3000

"He may take up three of my monster card zones, but it is very worth it. Now, Supreme Cannon Dragon! Attack Saitheree directly!!!!! Ultimate Cyber Blast!!!!!!!!!"

Lasers shot out from every single gun on the dragon's body, which is saying something, all aimed at Saitheree. Saitheree just smiled. When the blast cleared, one of Saitheree's face-downs was missing, and his life points had not hit zero. Infact, they had shot up incredibly.

"I was, but at the last moment I activated one of my face downs, Draining Shield!"

"Oh bugger. but now Cyber Attackerade is free to attack you! Go!!"

"Alright, looks like it's your turn!"

"Good! I draw!"

"And now I play my other face down, Call of the Haunted, to bring back my falled Summoned Skull!!

"Huh? You never summoned him!"

"Honestly, don't you know why he is in my graveyard? Does the word discard ring a bell?"

"Humph"

"Now I activate Double Summon, which means I can normal summon twice this turn. So I summon Frequency Magician and Junk Synchron Now I play, Speed Spell - Speed Fusion, fusion two monsters in my hand, like Black Luster Soldier and The Light - Hex Sealed Fusion to summon, my DRAGON MASTER KNIGHT!!!!!"

Zundet's Dragon roared in defiance as it met its match against an equaly powerful dragon.

"Now I tune my Frquency Magician to my Summoned Skull! Behold! Stardust Dragon!"

Cannon Dragon roared again as it met another foe.

"But I'm not finished yet. I now release Stardust Dragon, Dragon master knight, and my Junk Synchron. Now you will realy behold!! Witness the summoning of my Trump card in all it's glory! Come on out, Stardust Dragon Master Knight!!!!!!!!!!!"

Cannon Dragon roared again, but it was drowned out by both the cheering of the crowd, and the roar of the other, much bigger and far more powerful silver dragon, mounted by an almost insignificant rider. ATK/6000 DEF/2500

"Now my Dragon! Attack!!!!!!!!"

Better? Please say yes. Oh, and the other charactres aren't getting an intro because they are purely for being dueled and beaten, if you get what I mean. They have no impact on the storyline what so ever.

Effect:

(Stardust Dragon) + (Dragon Master Knight)

This card can only be Special Summoned with the above monsters. You can send the Fusion material monsters for this card and 1 tuner monster from your field to the Graveyard to Fusion summon this card. If you have at least one dragon type monster on your side of the field exept for this card, you can send this card to the graveyard to destroy all of your opponents cards. If this effect is activated, this card is special summoned back to field during the end phase, and it's original ATK decreases by 2000.

 

 

Effect:

This card cannot be normal summoned or set. This card can only be special summoned by releasing three machine type monsters you control. If this card is face up on your side of the field, only two other monster card zones on your side of the field can be used. This card cannot be special summoned if you have less than 3 free monster card zones. If this card attacks your opponents monster, that monster is instantly destroyed after damage calculation. This card's name can also be treated as "Cyber Dragonade".

Obviously, it's not perfect, but it's a lot more readable now. You'll want to hurry up and develop the characters, though; it still seems like an excuse to Duel.
