Gilgamesh noticed that the tape of the fight between him and the vampire was left alone on the table beside the TV. Without anyone noticing, Gilgamesh took the tape back into the room and began to review it. He locked the door and began to try to find out how to defeat the monster.

Paradox was busy cleaning up his apartment when he noticed that the package meant for Shade was still sitting on the counter.

 

"Hmm...I guess I should go deliver this..." Paradox considered. After a few seconds, he decided to procrastinate and sat down in front of the TV. He flicked it on and tuned in to a new channel. The headline read "More buildings in business district destroyed, battle between meta-humans rages on." The reporter drabbled on how the city's economy was being distrupted while a recording of the fight between the Twilight acting leader and a powerful vampire was shown.

 

"Hmm...Gilgamesh seems to be having vampire problems...Too bad I can't help," Paradox said as he flicked off the TV and went into his back room. He got a piece of paper and wrote "From Jack, To Shade, Delivered by Paradox". He then folded it into a glider and dipped it in his pot of incense. It began to hover by itself and fly in circles with Shade's package attached.

 

"Go to Shade!" Paradox commanded. The glider complied and flew out the window. Paradox then left for the business district.

[Megami Seika]

Saku lets out a Cute snore, "Mmmhmm...." Saku mumbles, asleep.

Saku moves a bit more she falls off the bed takeing him with her.

Saku slightly opened her eyes, they then open widely noticeing

Yusei on top of her, "Yusei-kun...." Saku says, With blush all over her face.

 

Saku kisses Yusei, happily.

"You seem to be better now...." he said as the kiss ended, yet again, people were looking inside, one actually had the courtesy to close the door for them. "at least we'll have some privacy now..." he said as he looked into her eyes, back when he had her thoughts, he had never seen the world so cold, but now, she truly seemed happy.

Alex glared at him. "All things foreseen though the tarot come true, in one way or another." He shook his head. "The future is a manipliatable thing. You change the present, you alter the future, as goes the past." He looked at him. "You're eating healthy?" He then turned to his cards, and began to gather them in a big blob-o-la. "What do you want guidance about?"

Saku Kisses Yusei again this time her arms around his neck, "Dose he..... I wonder if...." Saku thought, to herself.

 

"Um... Is that what you want?" Saku says, Blush covering her face down her neck, with an unshure look on her face.

"To..... Do.. it...."

IC: Paradox arrrived in the business district, which was still bustling despite all the destruction in the area. He walked through the crowds to the scene of the fight. On the ground he found the shards of a blue glass like material. He walked up more and found the vampire's arm on the floor.

 

"Hmm...I think she may want this back..." Paradox muttered to himself. He walked down to the subway and took the train to Chaos HQ, carrying the arm. Strangely, people didn't seem to wonder why he was carrying a disembodied arm.

[The Warden]

Following a strange feeling, Zak returned to the scene of the battle as well. He searched it and found fragments of blue glass. He knelt down and picked up the pieces, he rubbed it with his thumb and he collected the pieces that were large enough to carry. He rose and straightened himself out to not appear out of place. He looked at a certain set of ruined buildings and he smiled, he often admired his own handiwork.

Jack though of what he wasnted to know. He wanted to know about his relationship with Shade, but he thought it would be too embarrasing. Hecontinued thinking until he finally thought of something. "Okay. Will I ever perfect my control of wind?" he asked as he took a bite of the root.

Shade finished her shower, and since a long time she feelt relaxed. After she put on her clothes she walked around, looking for the other guys. Finaly she found them, sitting in Jacks room. "Hi guys... Oh.. You still dont feel good?" She asked, walking to the window behind him. "And by the way, this needle i fixed on that vampire girl... I put one of my hairs on it. I know where she is... I think we need to attack now!" She turned around, looking at everybody. "If we only sit around and defend we will never win! We need a assault, something wich really beat them!" After that she walked beside Jack, massagin his back. "Dont worry, i know a lot about acupunctaion, i think this also fits for a massage..." She smiles, kneading parts of his neck. "I always feel better after a massage..."

Jack started to blush as Shade was kneading his neck. "Y-y-yeah. Gilgamesh and I w-were gonna talk about that l-l-later." he studdered to say, because of both the massage and Shade. "I-i don't feel that nausious now." he then started to think why he was having these moments of throwing. "It must because I like Shade, I'm just too scared to talk to her about some topics and now I'm stuttering. I'm probably getting too nervous around her. I have to loosen up somehow. I still hope Paradox sent the gift I bought for her. It took all the money I had in my account."

[Horologia]

"We cant just sit around and do nothing... better like this?" She starts to knead some other spots at his neck "This feels really stressed... you shall take care about yourselve" She goes on, smiling again. "If you want i can acupunct you with some of my needles, this woudl be much more relaxing for you, and i would only need about 900 needles..."

Jack groanded a bit when he felt some of the tense spots in his neck feel better. He however kept his blush. He was hesitant to talk when he had to decide whether to use the accupuncture or not, because of the stuttering, but he had to. "S-s-sure." he said as thoughts about why he still is stuttering and the package kept running through his mind. "I just hope she likes the gift. But what if she doesn't? No Jack. Don't think like that. You'll probably become worse than you are now."

[Horologia]

Shade stopped aprubtly. "You... really want this...?" She was suprised normaly if she offers such things people jump on the next tree and dont come down for a while, but not Jack. "Oh... Okay than!" Still suprised she points at the bed "So, lie down please and put your T-shirt off... And dont worry about the stings..." She took some needles "I know what to do, it wont even bleed"

Jack did what Shade asked. He took off his shirt and lied down. On his back was the kanji sign for 'wind' on his left shoulder, possibly the source of his power, but it was almost completely withered away. He also had scars on his back from when he was training in his control over wind, but they looked like they healed. "A-alright. I'm up for it."

[Otaku-sama]

At Twilight HQ, a small paper gilder somehow carrying a package tied to it flew into the room where Shade and Jack were. The glider dropped the package on a nearby table like a fighter-bomber, then landed neatly nearby. It unfolded itself, revealing the message:

Paradox arrived at the doorstep of the Chaos HQ. He checked his pockets to make sure he had the necessary herbs, then knocked on the door. He prepared himself for the potentially hostile greeting he may recieve.

Shade stretches her hands and took the first needle. "Woah... Where have you got these?" Moving her fingers along one of the scars. "And this here..." touching the mark carefully "Okay, normaly there would be the spot for your emotional gate, but i wont put a needle through this..." she says. She sat on his back and starts to put in the first needle. "Hurt?" she asked, putting some more needles into his back, all along a certain line, wich is called "Track of Power" Shade dont know where she heard that but it was true. "So... what bothers you? I can see you want to hide something" Carefully she puts the 16th needle into his back.

Jack felt releived as the needles were placed on his back. "No it doesn't hurt. Those scars were from my training with Master Mystasyo. Apparently, if I did something wrong, he would whip my back with a whip made from pure wind power." he stated as he sighed a bit. "I have been hiding something. Its about.." He was then inturrupted when the package Paradox was supposed to be sent to Shade came throught he window. "Damn. The package came at the worst and possibly the best possible time."

[Horologia]

"What a cruel way to train somebody..." she said, still concentrated on the needles, and how to put them into the rigth spot. But than she saw the package and took it. "Jack and Shade? Huh? Allready christmas?" Shade put the needles on the next desk and looked down to Jack. "Would you mind me if i open it?" she dont even wait for a answear, but opened it. And it was ...?

Zan sat back in his room manipulating water to try and make the most appealing and entertaining display he could "hmmm maybe if i use the steam to make the water seem to dissappear and reappear."

Jack got up a bit and smirked a bit. The present was a new voodoo pack he bought Shade from Nothing More, Nothing Less. It had more items the shade could use if she loss her senses in nature. There were also plant seeds of various plants and some spirit dolls for uses on teamates, as well as an instruction booklet on the items. The bag looked almost like a normal backpack, but the zipper looked like it had teeth on it. "I hope she likes it. It could really help her out with the battles later on."

[Horologia]

Shade looked at it quite suprised. "Eh...?" Than she starts to laugh. "Oh dear... what would you do with voodoo stuff? I mean.... wait!" Than she blushes "Oh... its for me...?" She dont really know what to say, this was awesome. Of course, the booklet would be useless. Even if shade loose her memories quite frequently, the full knowledge of voodoo is always with her, but the other things? Some of the seeds seem to be Blood Flowers, wich are really rare. "How did you get this? I mean..." Taking out the doll wich was made out of cotton, with special spots to put the hair into. "Wow dude... thats amazing!" She bowed down to him and huged him tightley, but she stopps quickly when she remember all the needles she migth have pushed deeper into his body now "Uh! Sorry dude, really sorry!" She goes on putting some needles into his back (Or pulling some ones wich are to deep out), still thinking about the package. "Thats awesome..." Somehow she got tears in her eyes now. Good thing jack was lying on his stomache, so he cant see her...

"I'm guessing you like it." Jack said with a grin. "I got it from Nothing More, Nothing Less. Paradox helped me pick it out since he knew about how much I liked you since during your fight against the vampiress, I was ready to intervene at the moment something went wrong." He then felt a tear drop on his back. "I didn't mean to make her cry. I didn't know she liked it that much."

[Horologia]

It was strange. Normaly she should be happy now, but for some reason she wasnt. She starts to like Jack, not only because of the gift, but also for caring about her. But was she able to love somebody? What if she loose all her memories again, what happen quite frequently if you work with voodoo... Last times there was Akiza to restore her mind, but now she was gone for some reason. She took a deep breath before she goes on. She rubbed the tears out of her eyes. "Okay... thats it. All needles are placed..." she sayd. Lets enjoy the time until it happens again, she thougth. "Thats really nice of you..." she whispers in his ear.

Jack smiled as he heard what she said. "Its the least that I can do." he said as he started feeling releif from all of his tense points. "I really do need to relax. If I always put priority first, I could end up like Master Mystasyo. Always mad at the world for keeping him away, even though he was the one that was doing that since he was a kid for the absokute wrong reasons."
