Welcome All to Another LS RP! I hope you all enjoy this one more then the others I've hosted since this one will hopefully be more participated in (hint-hint). Yes this is an RP with an Advanced tag but still, it should be a good RP! Well check out the info below and jump right in!

Many years ago, a large star, known to some as the Ethereal Twilight, fell to Earth from somewhere in the universe. The Ethereal Twilight hit the Earths atmosphere as if it were a brick wall. The following explosion shattered the Ethereal Twilight and sent it's pieces flying across the world. The pieces were called the Twilight Shrapnels. Each piece contains a specific power their either enlightens the heart of it's host...or corrupts it. Each Shrapnel that fell to Earth embedded itself into a different person. The world eventually fell into chaos as the Twilight Shrapnel's either enlightened hearts and corrupted them. There are countless Shrapnels all over the world. Those who are host to a Shrapnel must choose to either bend to the Twilight Shrapnel's darkness, or bask in it's goodness.

 

Notes: You do not have to have a power, but you must select a faction.

They call themselves the Chaos Faction. These are the people who were corrupted by the power of the Twilight Shrapnels. (I just need someone to fill the position of Leader)

this is a list of powers that are prohibited from being used in this RP. I will specify why. This is not a complete list. This list may grow in time. Yes many of these are powers from Jake the Sages Struggle of Powers

♥1♥ Power Shifting

~ The ability to disperse 1 power and take on another.

The reason why is quite obvious. With this power, you could have every power imaginable. This would be incredibly unfair to everyone, even your the rest of your Faction.

 

♥2♥ Unlimited Power Snatching

~ The ability to extract the power from someone rendering them powerless for a remander of the RP.

This is also an obvious prohibit. this virtually boots someone from the RP!

 

♥3♥ Limitless Power Absorbtion

~ The ability to absord someone's power for as long as the user wishes.

This means person A absorbing person B's power for the rest of the RP so they both have it. You can have this power but it has to have a time limit.

 

♥4♥ Power Reflector

~ The ability to deflect all powers.

This is just another way of Godmodding which is prohibited.

 

♥5♥ Power Bestowal

~ The ability to grant others a specific power.

This would be greatly unfair to the opposing Faction since someone could grant each member of their own faction a power to beat the other faction.

 

♥6♥ Negation Power

~ The ability to cancel out any other person's power.

Obviously this would cause disruption in a battle. All this person needs to do is run around and tag everyone in the other faction and bam! Instant domination. Totally unfair.

 

♥7♥ Biological manipulation

~ The ability to control all aspects of a living creature's biological make-up. This includes, but is not limited to, genetic alterations, physical distortion/augmentations, healing, disease, and biological functions.

The user of this power has the capability of never being hit in the heart- or virtually dying for that matter.

 

♥8♥ Temporal duplication

~ The ability to bring past and future versions of oneself back to the present.

Bringing yourself from the past and future messes with the storyline and confuses things easily. Best to avoid this power all together.

 

♥9♥ Invulnerability

~ The ability to be immune to one or more forms of physical damage.

2 simple words...GOD MODDING!

 

♥10♥ Matter ingestion

~ The ability to consume any sort of matter without any ill effects on the user.

The power's desription says it all.

 

♥11♥ Reactive adaptation/evolution

~ The ability to develop a resistance or immunity to whatever they were injured by or exposed to. This effect can be permanent or temporary.

~ The ability to alter the perceptions of others, and general ability to control the actions of others with the mind.

This is just a tad irrelevant. You may have the ability to release your essence into the astral planes, but not being able to trap others.

~ The ability to erase or enhance the memories of another.

~ The ability to take control and inhabit the body of an individual.

~ The ability to live forever. This may be complete immortality encompassing invulnerability, partial invulnerability to all but specific events or simply an inability to age normally.

This idea makes me cry.

~ The ability to come back to life after being killed.

~ The ability to phase through solid matter without harm.

This would normally be ok but in an RP it would border on invulnerability thus rendering you invincible.

Reason For Illegality: Being able to control sound you can easily blow someone's head up. Not fair in the least bit.

♥27♥ Energy conversion

~ The ability to absorb one form of energy and convert it into another form of energy.

Allows user to create any energy, and thus the one that might be able to kill you easily.

~ The ability to create wormholes, portation "discs" or other spatial portals for transport between two non-adjacent locations

This is virtually teleportation which is GM since all you need to do is teleport whenever your in danger.

~ Ability to travel through electrical conduits (such as power lines or telephone lines). Can enter through devices such as televisions, electrical poles or computers.

This is a form of teleportation which is GM.

Appearance: With long dark brown hair that fell gently to her shoulders, Akiza Lamperouge takes pride in her hair. When people see her they see the long glistening hair that flows behind her when she runs, the soft blue/green eyes that melt even the strongest men's hearts, and the soft perfectly pink colored lips. Her hair covered her ears which were slightly bigger then "small" that are curved at the top. Completing the beautiful face of this beautiful girl is her small "cute" nose. To top it off her skin was ever so silky and smooth to the touch, which sent a shiver of exitement through those who touched it.

Bio: Most of the time when Akiza is seen in public her long hair would a shine to it and is almost always be "let down." She felt that it went perfectly with her favorite outfit of a simply school girl skirt, with a sleeveless tank-top that stopped just above the belly-button. Although when this was not an appropriate she would wear an outfit that others saw as oldstyle. She thought that just because that it was out of style didnt mean it wasnt cute, so she wore it anyways. A school girl shirt with a school girl skirt. Short and sweet. Her last distinguishing feature was the silver bracelet she wore.

Based on the form of music used, such as a guitar or vocals, the attack will vary from the catagories.

You can use a picture, but it must have a caption description.): A tall young man, with smooth, long red hair that reaches three fourths down his neck. He has a laugh that can sometimes be obnoxious, if the laugh is hard enough. His eyes are strangely purple, and he always wears strange clothing, such as a loosened red tie, dress shirt, a not so tall top hat, a blazer, and jeans. He often looks like he is a rock star. He always wears a necklace that seems to be a locket, and whenever he opens it, he cries a little.

Bio (Must be a description of at least 4 sentences or more): A often kind hearted young man, who loves to have a good time. He loves to joke around, even when he fights, and even teases his opponents in his songs. He loves rock and roll, if you couldn't tell from the guitar he carries and the ridiculious clothing. His mother was killed by a man from the chaos faction when he was little, and the man told him he better choose them, or Ron would be hunted down. Before she died, she gave him a locket, of himself as a little boy on one side, and he inserted a picture of his mother on the other. It was given to remind him that he is the only one who can decide who he is, and no one else. Never to let anyone influence him about who he is, and always to stand up for what YOU believe in, and nothing else.

It allows dead to expell huge amounts of energy and use them at his will. when 'Dead's Fantasy' is absolutely complete, then an armor of sorts will appear all around him and his strength increases ten fold.

Appearance (Must be a description of at least 4 sentences or more. You can use a picture, but it must have a caption description.): dead is tall, about six foot seven. His hair is long and dark brown like fall leaves and his eyes are a ghostly white. One of his ears is cut in half and hte bridge of his nose is both scarred up and across. His clothes are just white robes with black rope hodling them together, he dosnt' wear shoes.

Bio (Must be a description of at least 4 sentences or more): dead is aptly named so becuase of his reputation. Since he was seven, dead not only did not know his name but did not want to know, though he hated all those he knew that actually had names. So, he started fighting and hasn't stopped since. He addopted the name dead with a lower case D becuase for all of the fights that he's been in, all the fights he hopes to be in, he should be dead, for real.

Bio (Must be a description of at least 4 sentences or more):Kiro was always one of those strong, silent types. He would never say anything unless he had to. But when the Ethereal Twilight landed, all that changed. Not only does he have strange powers, but he is opening himself up to the world. One of his main goals is to explore his powers fully.

He often wears a black jacket with a blaze of dark red on the shoulder areas. He is lightly tanned, and often wears his shades. He also has black boots to go along with his appearance, and is quite well built.

Bio (Must be a description of at least 4 sentences or more): Klavier was a ordinary boy when he was young. Calm, a bit obnoxious. When he got older, his true personality came out. He was outgoing, witty, headstrong, all of these things. He had a talent in music being easily able to play the guitar and sing quite well. He’s German, and often uses Herr, or Fraulein when addressing someone. While he seems like a nice, rather witty young man, he possesses quite a dark, manipulating side.

PM me with it's limitations):Dark Inferno=the ability to produce a black flame namely from his fists or legs, the flame acts differently than most as it doesn't seem to rely on oxygen to stay lit, it is about twice as hot as naturally occurring fire, but it's usage causes severe second degree burns to the user

Weapons (For those without powers):He dual wields two Swords which he has trained with for a long time, due to the drawback his power has he prefers his swords.

Appearance:He's a rather tall man at 6'1" with messy black hair, he does style it though, placing two bangs on the front over his eyes, and spiking the rest on the back of his head, under his he hair he has light brown eyes, he has various scars from his past which he has no problem showing to others, thinking of them as Trophies from his fights, he normally wears a scowl which terrifies most adults but children like to poke fun of it instead.

Bio:Born in the countryside where growing up could be tough, due to his scowl and demeanor he was considered a demon by the church of his town and at the age of 13 he was exiled from the village and left for dead in the mountains, he was found by an old baker woman and taken into town where she forced him to go to school, she personally never feared him and was the best mother figure he could hope for, he has stated various times that he would get revenge on the city, but he promised her that he would try to live a normal life as well.

PM me with it's limitations): Art of Wind and Gain- A special fighting style untilizing the manipulation of wind through many variables, both basic and advanced, such as sheilding and in some forms flight. It can also use the natural occurance of wind to strengthen an attack in some cases, but it takes a lot of training to concentrate enough wind for it.

Weapons: A sword with a green jewel at the hilt

Appearance: Jack stands at a height of 5' 7'' with rather dark tan skin tone. He has black hair spiked up up to at least 2 inches from his head, but its usually combed rather well on certain occasions. He normally wears a red shirt with a black skull design and black jeans and carries a backpack filled with some books that he uses for either actual work or his training. He has a tattoo of the kanji sign for wind on his arm and wears glasses with gold frames that cover his dark brown eyes.

Bio (Must be a description of at least 4 sentences or more): Jack was a normal teen when he discovered his powers of wind manipulation. His father carried the trait, but he went missing when he was around seven. His mother has yet to know of his powers. As he turned 13, he ran away from home and went to the only place he could, his father's home country. He trained under a master who had the same powers as he did. He was taught the basics of wind manipulation along with some advanced skills with it. He chose to fight alongside Twilight to find his father and find out why he has these powers.

Powers : Voodoo

Wich means a connection to nature, controlling Trees or plants to help her, or forming mud-mans to send them against other people. Also the knowledge, how to brew potions wich send her into trance etc...

if i get a hair or something of a character, i can use it to form a voodoo doll. And because controlling would be overpowerd, i´m only able to feel what he feels, see what he sees usw... Maybe i can hurt him, just by hurting the doll, but nothing serious.

Bio : Once, Shina was a pretty, happy girl, always trying to get new friends and be liked. But once she touched the shrapnel, she went crazy. She couldnt understand her new power, her new abilities. Trees, wich start to talk to her, the earth wich shows her the path, the wind wich whispers into her ear. The whole nature seemd to be talking with her. After a few time, she get along with her abilities, but she forgott everything about her old live...

Metalmorphosis ~ Can change her left arm into a sharp blade, a chopper fan or a dagger point. If any metal is in contact with the arm, it merges with it.

Limitations: (Click to Hide)

Metalmorphosis ~ When the arm changes, it is affected by the following:

Large Pendulum Blade - Incredibly Heavy to Carry, so slows her down. Does massive amounts of damage.

Dagger Point - Incredibly fast, but weak

Chopper Fan - Normal Statistics

Chainsaw - If used upon a living person, Bethany recieves a shock from it.

She also cannot use her power for very long.

When absorbing metal to make her weapon bigger, Bethany may suffer from energy drain, as this would require nearly all of her energy to absorb even the smallest amount of metal.

Appearance (Must be a description of at least 4 sentences or more. You can use a picture, but it must have a caption description.): A tall girl that has long blonde locks that reach just past her ass. Has sapphire blue eyes with a hint of an emerald colour in both of them. Her lips are a bright red, even though she wears no lipstick. She wears a white latex suit that is missing the sleeve of her left arm, so that she can use her power with better ease.

Bio (Must be a description of at least 4 sentences or more): Xiro never wanted to be used for whatever those people wanted her to be used for. She was just a normal girl, something she would of happily been for the rest of her life, until she taken off of the streets. When she awoke, her left arm had been cut open, and the sheer site of it caused her to faint. When she re-awoke, she found herself within a cell, and for 2 years she planned her escape. When the Twilight Shrapnel incident occured, the place she was held captive was sent into madness, and she escaped without anyone even knowing. Afterwards, she was taken in by Akiza (Your character ). She cannot remember anything of her past, and so hopes the Twilight Shrapnels will help her remember.

RP Age: Unknown, acts youthful

RP Gender: Male

Powers:

Orb Transfer

Paradox carries three spheres on his staff. Each contains a strange ethereal orb that looks like a soul. These orbs can possess objects nearby, usually dangerous things like swords or sticks, and attack Paradox's enemies within a 100 metre radius . These souls are independant and are able to think on their own, but still take command from Paradox. Each orb can control up to 20 kg worth of mass, but they can work together to carry larger objects up to 50 kg. Also, these orbs can only possess inanimate objects or dead organisms that are at dead for at least a month. Furthermore, these orbs can be knocked out of their possessed object with a good amount of force. When forcefully removed, the orb must return to a sphere on Paradox's staff and 'regenerate' for at least 30 minutes.

Cross-dimensional Awareness

Essentially able to break the fourth wall between the characters and the users. Only able to comment on RPer's OoC comments, not being able to know what the other characters are doing.

Slowed Aging

Through research of the arcane, Paradox was able to extend his lifespan beyond the natural human limitation of 120 years to 180. He still gets hurt like any other human however.

Weapons: A wooden staff with three clear spheres, one in the middle and two at the end. Also carries three rapiers on his backs to act as initial objects for his orbs to possess.

Appearance: Medium height, thin frame. His face cannot be seen under his hooded robe due to a piece of black cloth that covers his face. Apparently, he can see through this cloth perfectly fine however. Wears black robes with mirrors on the chest and back. These mirrors do not give a true reflection and show an ever changing distortion of the world, which Paradox claims to be the true world. He also wears similarly mirrored gloves and boots.

Bio: Paradox was once an ordinary man before getting a shard lodged in his temporal lobe of his brain. The impact made him go unconcious. During this unconciousness, he had what he called 'an awakening' where a being of light and darkness showed him how the world truly was: a dying world corrupted by the 'pieces of Heaven'. When he woke up, he found himself in a completely different world. In this hallucination, he also gained knowledge of the arcane. He studied more of the arcane from all corners of the world, discovering how to make himself live longer and how to create artificial souls, which he named Ex, Why, and Zed. After recieving another message from that strange being of light and darkness, he tasked himself to gather 'pieces' of other beings who have a 'piece of fallen Heaven' for a grand spell that will rebirth the world into a new age.

Faction: Undecided as of yet. His 'quest' requires him to get close to both sides of the fight.

Buisness District: For investigations on certain people as well as mercenary assigning until Chase destroyed part of the district. Now its an area of investigating who did it.

He has a laugh that can sometimes be obnoxious, if the laugh is hard enough. His eyes are strangely purple, and he always wears strange clothing, such as a loosened red tie, dress shirt, a not so tall top hat, a blazer, and jeans. He often looks like he is a rock star. He always wears a necklace that seems to be a locket, and whenever he opens it, he cries a little.

He loves to joke around, even when he fights, and even teases his opponents in his songs. He loves rock and roll, if you couldn't tell from the guitar he carries and the ridiculious clothing. His mother was killed by a man from the chaos faction when he was little, and the man told him he better choose them, or Ron would be hunted down. Before she died, she gave him a locket, of himself as a little boy on one side, and he inserted a picture of his mother on the other. It was given to remind him that he is the only one who can decide who he is, and no one else. Never to let anyone influence him about who he is, and always to stand up for what YOU believe in, and nothing else.

It allows dead to expell huge amounts of energy and use them at his will. when 'Dead's Fantasy' is absolutely complete, then an armor of sorts will appear all around him and his strength increases ten fold.

Weapons (For those without powers): a single pink katana

His hair is long and dark brown like fall leaves and his eyes are a ghostly white. One of his ears is cut in half and hte bridge of his nose is both scarred up and across. His clothes are just white robes with black rope hodling them together, he dosnt' wear shoes.

Bio (Must be a description of at least 4 sentences or more): dead is aptly named so becuase of his reputation. Since he was seven, dead not only did not know his name but did not want to know, though he hated all those he knew that actually had names. So, he started fighting and hasn't stopped since. He addopted the name dead with a lower case D becuase for all of the fights that he's been in, all the fights he hopes to be in, he should be dead, for real.

PM me with it's limitations):Dark Inferno=the ability to produce a black flame namely from his fists or legs, the flame acts differently than most as it doesn't seem to rely on oxygen to stay lit, it is about twice as hot as Molten lava, but it's usage causes severe second degree burns to the user, he can however manipulate it's shape.

Weapons (For those without powers):He dual wields two Swords which he has trained with for a long time, due to the drawback his power has he prefers his swords.though in conjunction his swords we're specially made to withstand high temperatures and can be used to increase their cutting strength.

Appearance:He's a rather tall man at 6'1" with messy black hair, he does style it though, placing two bangs on the front over his eyes, and spiking the rest on the back of his head, under his he hair he has light brown eyes, he has various scars from his past which he has no problem showing to others, thinking of them as Trophies from his fights, he normally wears a scowl which terrifies most adults but children like to poke fun of it instead.

Bio:Born in the countryside where growing up could be tough, due to his scowl and demeanor he was considered a demon by the church of his town and at the age of 10 he was exiled from the village and left for dead in the mountains, he was found by an old baker woman and taken into town where she forced him to go to school, she personally never feared him and was the best mother figure he could hope for, he has stated various times that he would get revenge on the city, but he promised her that he would try to live a normal life as well.

OoC: Starting Twilight Shrapnels!

 

IC: Akiza stirred gently in the large bed that she had been sleeping in. A ray of sunlight was shining through the curtains and reflected on the alarm clock that was perched on the table beside the bed. Akiza sat up and yawned. She glanced around and noticed that the door to her room was a jar.

 

As she pushed herself out of bed, Akiza looked down and patted the soft silk pants she was wearing along with the silk pink bra. She strode to the door and looked out into the hallway of the Twilight Faction headquarters. She sighed and withdrew her head before moving back to her bed and sitting down on the edge.

Sunlight glinted in Hiro's room. He woke, yawning. I really need some new curtains, he thought as he raised a hand to block out the light. He got up, and quickly stripped. He got into his personal shower (I assume we have showers?). After he got out, he lay back down, wishing for the night to come again.

Klavier stifled a yawn. He was in bed, and dead tired. Last night was spent dealing with some Twilight factioners. Something which bored him to no end. He glared at the TV in front of him. It was wide, and luxurious much like his room. Snatching the remote beside him, he began flipping channels.

 

Nothing. He wondered what that Fraulein Akiza was probably enjoying herself, he figured.

Ron was sitting on his bed all night. He was thinking about people he could call to be a part of a band, because he figured he could have a side job aside from being part of the Twilight Faction. Unfortunately, in this day and age, where the popular music was mostly rap and pop, rockers seemed to be few and far between. He figured he would sleep now. It was still early morning, and he slept 'till two o' clock anyway. He walked over to his window blinds, closed them, turned off his lamp, and decided to try and get some sleep.

 

However, he couldn't sleep. He wanted to rock, and he needed a band for that. Drums and bass are just as important as guitar and vocals. Maybe a keyboardist. He decided to quickly get up, get dressed, and go for a walk. He put on a dress shirt, jeans, tennis shoes, and a dress vest to go out for a walk.
