3. The Simpsons

4. Aliens in the Attic

5. Space Buddies

6. Snatch

7. Bolt

8. Transformers

10. Beverly Hill Chiuaua

:(

And Snatch =/= best movie of all time' date=' if we're talking about the same thing.

My favorites:

1) Star Wars (series)

Reasoning: Er... it's [i']Star Wars[/i]. What's not to like, Jar Jar Binks? The entire series (of live-action movies, anyway) is an archetype that set the groundwork for so many works to come, including...

2) The End of Evangelion*

Reasoning: It all returns to nothing... Watched alongside the last two episodes of Neon Genesis Evangelion, it gives the groundbreaking series a reasonable conclusion.

3) Rebuild of Evangelion (series)

Reasoning: And this is the aforementioned Neon Genesis Evangelion, reinterpreted twelve years later to hit the fans where it hurts. Needless to say, fans are quite masochistic.

4) Azumanga Daioh: The Very Short Movie

Reasoning: a) It's Azumanga Daioh! b) It is indeed the shortest movie I've ever seen.

5) The Dark Knight

Reasoning: This is the deconstruction of superheroes Batman was supposed to be. Much, much better than the comics ever were, this one gets down and dirty with the human psyche, and like the aforementioned Evangelion, it proves that humanity, when sufficiently introspective, can conquer its demons.

6) Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb

Reasoning: One of the most shameless, humorous, and deceptively deep satires of the modern day, Dr. Strangelove delivers an atomic bomb to the concept of patriotism while riding it like a cowboy.

7) Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie

Reasoning: MST3K is brilliant — take the world's worst movies and make them tolerable with a great deal of snark. The movie is a glorified episode. Therefore, win.

8) Requiem for a Dream*

Reasoning: Hey, have you ever heard the phrase "Don't do drugs?" If you have, and you ignored it, I have a movie for you. Besides providing the music for half the trailers in existence ("Lux Æterna," to be precise), it takes that "Don't do drugs" and makes anyone who isn't already insane take it to heart.

9) Batman Returns

Reasoning: Like The Dark Knight, but without the psychological aspect. Still, it's a great movie, with an excellent score, deep characters, and a riveting plot. So long as you can see what's going on, it's a great movie.

10) Twilight

Reasoning: Unlike the other movies on this list, this one is actually rather awful. But remember Mystery Science Theater 3000? Now keep in mind he can't control where the movies begin or end that anyone can do that.

*Rated NC-17, and for good reason. Be warned.
