It's okay because it lets you see your opponent's hand for free.

I'm not sure about the ruling there' date=' but I think it would only let you do so, if you [i']KNOW[/i] they have a Spirit in there hand. Like if they summoned it, and then it returned to the Opponent's hand.

.........Or something like that

What? No. That doesn't even begin to make sense. The card is even specifically worded so that is can resolve perfectly even if the opponent doesn't have any Spirits in their hand.

Can someone tell me another card that lets you see your opponents hand for free apart from Dustshoot which requires your opponent to have 4 cards in their hand

Banworthy.

I dont see how. Even in the slowest meta this card wont do much without using other banworthy cards too.

If you were facing a Spirit deck' date=' it becomes even more broken than Trap Dustshoot.

EDIT: To be fair, using the same logic, Exile of the Wicked is banworthy because it becomes Raigeki if your opponent only has Fiends out. So nvm, my bad.

Exile of the Wicked's ridiculously banworthy.

The Eye of Truth would actually be the best for looking at the opponent's hand in my opinion, if it wasn't for the Life Point gain. I mean, its a continuous effect, unlike just picking on the hand, they will be playing with the hand revealed. That can help in some way.

While I'm at it, I have a question...

For card effects that remove from play/discard/destroy cards from your opponent's hand at random, would you be able to choose the target you want with Eye of the Truth out?
