"Haha this is no toy, observe..." Valik points the rod at some random person walking by. The rob glows and the person flys in a few feet into a car. Than man gets up and runs away screaming. "And that is nothing compared to the power this item gives me. As for the price. We will be playing for your soul. But here, this sounds fair. If you get my life points to 2000, and then lose. You get to keep your soul. But if I have even a life points aboue 2000, consider yourself banished to the shadow realm." Valik threw 2 Pins to the ground. "You get those if you win. You can start things off."

"...all right then...Ionus? Is that how you pronounce it? Here are your pins. Ryder seems to be fond of you, he's given you two yellow pins! And actually, someone else was in here asking for you earlier. Obviously you weren't here, so he left this with me."

At that, the man pulled out a something wrapped in cloth and presented it to Ionus. Ionus took it apprehensively. The cloth felt foreign, as if from the Middle East or Africa. There was an envelope on top that had his name on it. The shopkeep put the two pins into Ionus' other hand.

"Thanks very much. Anything else?"

"No, that's it."

"Alright then."

With a "good luck" from the shopkeep, Ionus left and began to move in the street, looking for the pins.

"Haha well first off all, you wont be winning this duel, so you don't have to worry about that. But if you DO win, I'll let you decide what happens to me. Will you kill another in order to save yourself?" Valik drew. [4000] "I will summon this monster in face-down defense mode. And i'll place 2 cards face-down. Your move"

Branden wandered around town. Again, he could find no one of his skill level. "Hey!" somebody called. He turned. An old man, wearing eight pins, stood there. "I challenge you to a duel." Branden was surprised, then worried. The man had mostly yellow pins, a blue one, and a red one. What the heck? he thought. "Sure."

Welche was wearing his favorite outfit. He had a pure white suit on, with a black shirt and white tie. He even had a special duel-disk. It was pure black, perfect with his outfit. He kept all his stuff in a very nice messenger bag.

Valik grins. "Thank you!" The monster explode. "It was known as Pyramid Turtle. An you activated his special effect, when he is destroyed by battle, I can special summon 1 Zombie from my deck with 2000 DEF or less. I choose Red Eyes Zombie Dragon! Hahahaha."

"DUEL! Alright, old man, prepare to be decimated. I play a special card, of which I own the only one in the world." The man looked surprised. "Oh, no. It's not a god card. I play my continuous spell "Dimension Reversal!"

"And now, I play "Polymerization, and summon Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon" (4500/3800)/(2250/1900). "I end my turn with that."

"My turn? Excellent." Valik draws. [4000]. "I summon out my Holding Legs in attack mode [earth/fiend/4/800/600] and with his effect, all spell and trap cards are returned to their owners hands hahaha."

OoC: My turn isn't over, I'm just seeing if you can stop my effect.

The card shop was less busy then the previous day. Herit passed through the crowd and arrived at the counter.

"Do you have any new cards?"

"We have a few new packs. Want any?

"I'll take one." He picked out some money and opened the pack. He placed the cards into his pocket. "Know where to find some White Pin duelists?"

"They hang out in the Cemetery, mainly."

Welche now had 4 pins, 2 yellow and 2 red. He was eager to get his first white pin, but that would need to wait. First needed to find the places in town that would strengthen his FIRE deck and his Gadget deck. Then he would find a white duelist and win a white pin.

Ria continued her wandering around the city for an opponent, giggling as she felt the water from the light rain gather in the brim of her tophat. She glanced around and frowned again at their drab attire, rolling her eyes. "I swear... if I see one more man decked out in pure white or black because they think it makes them look more cool, I will-"

"A-HA!"

She blinked, startled out of her thoughts as a man-or at least she thought it was a man- stood posing in front of her. His clothing was pure white, but simultaneously black. She took a moment to try and comprehend how that was possible, also quirking an eyebrow at his long, blond and spiky hair, and fairly effeminate face. He carried an impossibly cool and likely useless sword on his back, on a massive scabbard, and had a fire in his eyes she hadn't seen before. His eyes, come to think of it, were also tinted red for no apparent reason.

"I, Roth Strife, shall defeat you on my conquest for win!" he declared, looking simultaneously ridiculous and completely awesome in his declaration. "I am an orphan brought up alone since a man of evil murdered my parents in cold blood! I have been playing this game since I was 3! I own the sacred cards, unique and priceless, that will bring me to victory! Now, fair maiden, NOW how do you feel about challenging me?" Roth said with a dazzling smile, striking once again another pose.

Ria was shocked at first, but then smirked and clapped. "Bravo! Bravo!" she cheered. The man raised an eyebrow, crossing his arms. "What manner of applause is this?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

She smirked at him teasingly. "Well, your story was just so compelling. I mean, nothing else makes an interesting story other than hot-blooded, moody male protagonists with feminine faces, spiky hair, a fashion style that includes only black, white and big swords, and a tragic backstory that invariably includes the words "orphan"." she said teasingly. "And, in that case, I shall be glad to face you! What are your credentials? For, in this battle of wills, I show my assets!"

The man blinked widely for a second as she opened her trenchcoat to show her chest, only to breath a relieved sigh when she revealed the pins attached above her heart. He smirked. "Well, fair maiden, in such case, I show mine! THREE pins to your five, but mine, the color of purest snow, bleached darkness, White!" he said, lifting up the three white pins. "Yes, indeed! I am among the most of elite, maiden, do you still wish to face me?"

She gave a girlish giggle. "Why of course I do! What else would I do? Now... duel!"

She yelled, raising her duel disk, as the lifepoint counters set.

Ria - 8000

8000 - Roth

OOC: Greatest sarcasm ever.

IC:

"Venom Serpent attacks directly! Go, Poisonous Bite!"

The two headed serpent leaped high into the air, coming down directly on the opposing player's Duel Disk.

Opponent: 800--->0

"And now, as ante, the pins por favor."

The opponent grumbled and handed over two blue pins.

"At least you aren't red, eh amigo?"

At these words, he departed, searching for another opponent to demolish. It was almost too much fun.

The old man was good. The life point standings for Branden's duel were 3000-1500, the old man having more. Branden was surprised when the old man managed to destroy his Blue Eyes Ultimate. But now he could see the old man's mistake. "I sacrifice my Baby Dragon to summon White-Horned Dragon. I remove 5 cards from play, and equip it with Horn of the Unicorn. Total Attack, 4200. It's too bad you don't have any monsters on the field. Attack!" He laughed as the old man handed him the wagered two yellow pins.
