Branden finally made it out of the duel shop. He had four red pins, and a blue pin. Well, at least I got one blue pin, he thought as he pinned them on his shirt. He decided he would go around, and find someone with red pins to duel. So far as he could tell, most of the duelists were above his skill level. sheet, I really need to practice.

Lars also walked outside of the store, he wasn't entirely sure about which color his pins was, but it didn't really matter anyway he thought. He then started hitting the ground with his stick again untill he hitted someone's leg.

"Sorry." He said and then walked away untill he hitted someone else. "Sorry."

There is really a lot of people here, must be a big tournament then.

Valik was standing outside the game shop, he kept loooking at duelists. Wondering which one he would duel first. He knew that Ryder wasn't just a host, he was the Dark Lord. He had to be stopped. But how could he stop him..."Well I guess getting to the finals is first order" he thought to himself.

Branden kept wandering around town. He finally saw a kid with red pins. "Hey you!" he called out. "Wanna duel?" The kid turned his head, then nodded. Branden grinned, and pulled out his deck. Alright, I can do this. The kid pulled out his deck, and they both inserted them at the same time. "Let's Duel!" they shout simultaneously.

 

OoC: Do we have to play through all our duels?

Oh you already had challenged him while I was posting mine haha, well ignore my post then And yes you have to fgo thought the duel .

 

Valik heard someone basically invite a challange. "Hmmm I guess your the first" He walks up to the man. "Grab your deck, you will be the first. How many Pins shall we wager?" Valik grabbed the Seal and took it out of his deck. "No fool! You must use that card!" a voice called out in his head. Valik just shook his head and waited for the kids anwser.

Deck Type: Venom (existing Archetype with custom support)

Personality: He certainly has a way with words, and so gets his way in and out of any situation. He also has a slight Southern European accent, making his charm that much more effective. In truth, he's a nice guy, and rather friendly, but has quite a temper.

Bio: Born in Italy to Spanish parents, Ionus had a very interesting childhood. He took to Duel Monsters like a fish to water, and rapidly formed his own niche in the game, twice making the Top 8 of the EU Championship. Of course he can speak fluent Spanish and Italian, and occasionally his English might need work, but he can manage otherwise.

Lars felt that someone placed their hand on his shoulder.

"Hey, blind man! Let's duel!" Lars heard a woman's voice. "I bet all of my pins towards your five ones!"

"That's find!" Lars said, turning around so that he at least faced the one he was talking to. She must think I can't play just because I'm blind, I'll show her...

 

A Duel later...

 

"B-b-but how!?" The woman fell on her knees. "How did you manage to defeat me when you're blind?"

"I have a certain bond with my cards. You should get more connected with your cards too if you want to win!"

He grabbed her pins and then walked away.

"Now I have ten pins, that means that I will just need five more to reach the finals!"

Valik notcied a guy walkig around, the man thought he was all tough and a big shot. "You!' he called out. Valik walked over to him. The big man had while turning around had bumped into a young teenager and shoved him to the ground. "You don't wanna be doing that" Valik said.

"Whats your problem?!" the guy was getting angry.

"Your my problem, and now it will cost you. Duel!" Valik said as he prepared his duel disk.

"Alright kid, I'll wager two red pins. How about you?" Branden asked.

"I'll wager two red pins against yours," the kid said. He reached into a pocket, and pulled out a coin. "Heads or tails?" he said then snapped it up into the air. Branden watched it, then yelled out "Tails!" The coin fell, then bounced. It spun, then landed: heads. "Damnit!" Branden screamed out.

OOC:Kris flips a coin to decide what deck he's useing. Heads for spellcaster command tails for warrior's Strike.

 

Kris flipped a coin. "Tails, Looks like you'll be duelling the Warriors Strike deck. "DUEL!" both the duelists in the graveyard drew there five card hand. "I-I'll go first." the other duelist stuterred, drawing his first card. "And I summon Feral Imp in Defense Mode." 1400 DEF. A green imp appeared with it's arms around its head. "and i end my turn with a facedown." Kris drew his card. "I summon Field-Commander Rahz In attack mode." A soldier with a sword appeared in mid-air with his blade out in front of him. 1600 ATK. "and it's effect allows me to place a level four warrior monster on the top of my deck and I pick....Evocator Chavelier! I place two cards face down and Field commander rahz, Attack his imp with doom slash!" The soldier brought his sword down on Feral Imps head making it disappear. "Your lucky that was in defense mode."

"I'll start." said Herit. "I play one card in face-down defence position! I play 2 face-downs and end my turn."

"You think you Emerald Tortoise will stop me? And don't look so surprised, I know your strategies. I will play two face-downs, and that is all."

"I have changed. Now, I sacrifice Crystal Decoy to Summon Gravi-Crush Dragon [ATK 2400]. Crystal Decoy's effect activates. You see, if my Crystal Decoy is sent to the Graveyard by any means, I can add one Crystal Beast card from my deck to My Spell and Trap card Zone, where it is treated as a continuous Spell Card."

"You think that will help you?"

"No, but this will! I add Crystal Beast Saphire Pegasus to my Spell and Trap card Zone."

"Pretty Pony" said the challenger, with a laugh.

"Yes, I don't think he likes you though. I activate my face-down, Crystal promise. Now I can Special Summon my Crystal Beast Saphire Pegasus [ATK 1800], and his effect activates! I can search my deck and add one Crystal Beast to my Spell and Trap card Zone, like before. I choose my Crystal Beast Amber Mammoth. Now, Crystal Beast Saphire Pegasus, attack his Life Points directly!"

Ooc: Ok well against NPC, you dont have to.

 

The big man feel to his knees. "How...How could I lose...." He looked up at Valik. "Your not getting my Pins!" The man got up and ran through an ally way behind him. "Haha a chase...excellent." Valik said. He began to run after the man, once close enough, he grabbed his golden rod (mellenium rod) and smashed the guy in the knee cap with it. The guy feel over in pain. Valik kicked him in the face knocking him unconsious. "Hmm you wont be needing these." Valik reached in the mans pocket and pulled out 2 blue pins and 3 white pins. "Excellent" He turned and began to walk towards the Pier.

Branden smiled. "Alright, Red Eyes Black Dragon, attack!" The kid was crestfallen. "But...but how could I lose?" Branden looked at him, then quoted one of his heroes. "It's not that you suck, it's that I'm better than you." He took the two red pins and walked away. I guess I'm better than I thought, he thinks, grinning happily.

"You see, you have activated my Trap Card. Sacrifice of the Unborn. By discarding 2 cards, I can negate your attack, destroy the attacking monster, and end your Battle Phase." Crystal Beast Saphire Pegasus shattered.

"His effect activates! Now, he is returned to my Spell and trap Card zone. I end my turn"

Welche entered the duel shop.

"Hey, what do I have to do to get into the tournament?" asked Welche

"I just gotta plug you into the systeme and give you a pin" said the clerk.

"Sounds good." replied Welche.

"Computer says you a decent duelist. How many tournament wins do you have?" asked the clerk.

"Just 2, but I hope to make this my third." said Welche hopefully.

"Well, how long you been dueling?"

"12 years, but only started in tournaments a year ago."

"Well, I think that 2 pins to start would be fine. Both white."

"Thanks dude"

Valik was sitting at the Pier, looking into the ocean. He was thinking of his past. The Seal. What power it brought. How many people he destroyed with it. The feeling of destroying someones mind was a good feeling. Valik enjoyed the control...the power. He stood up and began to walk into town.

OOC: So, how do we go about getting these pins? Do we just start with whichever ones we want?

 

IC: Ionus was ready. He had his Deck. He had his Duel Disk (specially modified by a good friend of his for faster loading times and a quality automatic shuffle. Also it looked about ten times as cool as any other Duel Disk). He had time on his hands (he had taken a week off from work). There was only one thing left to do. He walked into his local cardshop and handed him the invitation he had recieved earlier that week.

"A see someone! In the distance!" shouted a far of voice.

"I see them too" shouted a different one.

"This area is restricted!" one of the men shouted at Herit. He ran towards down.

Herit arrived in city centre, were a young man, about 21 challenged him.

"You do not want to duel me." Herit said.

"Oh yes I do!" the challenger said.

Once Valik got back to town, he noticed a guy, roughly in his 20's asking a teenage boy to a duel. "Hmm this could be interesting" Valik decided to watch the duel. He looked up at the roof and saw Veyture, the man who talked to him before. "You!" Valik began to run towards the building. Valik was going to end this once and for all.
