A new tournament in Domino City is being held. Posters have been put up all over the city, the host of the tournament is named Ryder. But the weird thing is, nobody has ever seen him before. It's like he just came out of thin air. But everybody is joining because there is a big prize involved. But little do the duelists of Domino know, he has other intentions for the city...

 

[spoiler=The Tournament]

To start in this tournament, you must go to your local Duel Shop and talk to the person behind the counters. Once there, he will ask you questions, depending on your awnsers, depends on how many Dueling Pins you start with. Once you have 15 Dueling Pins, you can get to the finals.

Personality: Silent and determined. He keeps it cool and he rarely get's angry. He's a fierce opponent in duels.

Bio: Not much is known about his past, except that he hails from the cold north of Scandinavia, and that he is blind. Even though he's blind he knows which card is which in his deck, because he has a special bond with them.

Bio: Has amnesia. Only remembers from entering domino city to the present day. He was chosen by the equilibrium to keep balance and order. His decks show this. In a duel he Is merciless whichever deck he's using.

Apperance - Girl with long black hair down past her waist, bound behind her head but otherwise allowed to flow free. Has brown eyes, a mischievous face, and wears extraordinarily flamboyant clothing, including a golden-colored trenchcoat with many pockets, a blue vest with a white shirt and pants, and a pink ascot around her neck. Keeps a pocketwatch in one of her upper coat pockets, tied at the end to part of her vest. Keeps a variety of nick-nacks and strange objects in her pockets, including several decks of cards, coins, dice, and other varieties of weird things.

Deck Type - The Tauschen Miracle!

Personality - Ria likes to do everything as grandoise as possible, and lives within her own little world. Little of what she does makes sense to others, though she's generally very kindhearted truly. She doesn't really empathize with people well, but she always tries to cheer people up in her own way. Few people understand her.

Bio - Having grown up as the daughter of a lawyer and famous magician, Ria learned from both sides of the family, becoming an A student and skilled stage magician in her own right. Considered a genius, she's been offered work in many fields, but has refused all of them, preferring to simply do side shows on the sides of streets. Nobody really knows what she truly wants, though she has taken up dueling recently.

Personality: Very airy. Not there. Only interested in very thoughtful things. Doesn't always pay attention

Bio: Pegasus himself gave Herit Shun his cards. They were the second set of Crystal Beats, and the only other set in existence. Afterwards, Gronus got his deck, but Herit's still has more of the original cards, including the only Rainbow Dragon in existence.

Valik woke up to the sound of his alarm clock. Today was the day he was going to register for the new tournament in Domino City. So he grabs his deck and his duel disk and runs out the door. Once outside he jumps on his motorcycle and begins to drive to the Game Shop in Town Square.

[Magnet Soldier]

"Attack choas sorceror. Chaos burst!" A blast of light hit kris' latest victim, putting the opponents life points to zero. "That'll show you the power of the equilibrium." Kris said to the distraut duelist. "You'll be in a psychiatric institute for the next three months or so but thats your fault for challenging me." He said as he walked of to the duel shop to enter the tournement as he origanally planned before that pathetic excuse for a duelist challenged him. "Now to enter the tournement like the equalibrium said." He said to himself, turning the doomdisk back into his sword and sheathing it while sorting out his decks.

Valik finally arrives in Town Square, and sees hundreds of duelists walking around. "These poor fools, little do they now what this city can hold" Valik thinks to himself. He begins to walk into the store and sees a man around his 40's behind the counter. "Greetings, are you here to register?" The man asks. Valik nods his head. "Ok well to register, first I will ask you 10 question, the better you do, the better you start off. Valik awnsers all of the questions, almost with ease. "Ok well you start off with 1 White, 2 Yellow, and 1 Blue. That's very good. Ok the final thing is, I need to add something to your dueldisk." The man places a small chip in it. "This chip will recored how many duels you are in, and how many you win or lose. Well thank you for coming. If you need any cards or help, come back anytime" Valike turns and walks outside, now he is just going to walk around and examine the city before the tournament starts.

Kris saw a guy come out of a shop holding some duelist pins. "that must be the card shop. First time ive ever had to go in." kris said. As he walked in he noticed more of the annoying tournement posters. He was getting annoyed with them so heb took one down and was about to rip it up when a 40-50 year old man shouted, "hey thats my property, put it back. anyway why are you here?" Kris put it back, apoligising, "Sorry. I'm here to enter the tournement." The old man replied "another one! I'm getting fed up with you lot, well atleast it keeps the buisness running. Anyway the questions..." Kris answered them with ease. "well your the best ive had so far. Thats 2 whites, 2 yellows and a Blue. Come back if you want any cards. Oh before i forget heres the Duel chip for your dueldisk. It counts...." Kris cut him off mid-sentence "Dont worry, I know what it does. See ya." Kris said, walking out the door. "Now which suckers gonna duel me?"

Herit Shun walked slowly around a corner. He turned to face a small crowd around a store with a registering license. Herit walked over, each step soft and silent. He stride was long, however. The sun beat down on the back of his head. His blonde hair was cut short. He wore jeans and a leather jacket. Comfortable, but hot. He reached the crowd, and walked right through them. They seemed to part before his feet. He had mastered the art of parting crowds many years before. He saw Valik at the counter. "My name is Herit Shun. I have been invited to attend this Tournament". The man behind the counter gave him one quick look, and took out 5 White Pins. "Ryder has set these pins aside for you, Mr Shun". "Thank you." Herit flipped a card at the man behind the counter. "here, take it. I won't be needing that."

[Hydra of Ages]

Ria skipped into the store, idly flicking a the edge of her bright, golden trenchcoat out of the way. She glanced around the crowd and tisked a little. Everyone looked so much the same. Wearing the same thing, black, white, black, more black... she shook her head at the popularity of such sullen colors, immediately proud of her shimmering coat.

She walked by a card shop, and recalling she had to enter some tournament before she could face people, entered it. She examined the walls with interest; she had been here a couple times, though she had hardly bought anything. She waved to the shopkeeper. "Heya mister!"

 

The man glanced at her direction, and rolled his eyes. He wasn't very pleasant at first, and odd for a shopkeeper, hated huge crowds coming to his store. Still, Ria liked him a lot. He was funny. "So. For the tournament like all the other rascals these days?" he said dryly. Ria nodded. "Yes, please mister. How, what do I do?"

 

The man grunted. "I ask you some questions, then award you some pins depending how you answer. The color of the pins depends on how good you answer. White for expert, yellow for skilled, blue for experienced and red for novice." he said, dryly rattling it off like he had said it all day.

 

Ria's eyes glittered. "Oooh! Yellow! My favorite color!" she said happily. The man raised an eyebrow, but didn't comment.

[Luna Lovegood]

Herit slowly walked out to the town centre. Something was drawing him towards the Town Park. He walked towards it. He was not hasty, he walked extremely slowly. His feet hardly made a sound.

 

He arrived at the park. It was luscious and green. The trees grew taller then the buildings in town. He spotted someone in the distance. "This is going to be interesting." he aid to himself, for he had just realized what had been drawing him here. The Lure of the Sacred Beats. Raviel was here. Herit would have him.

 

The man in the distance walked towards Herit. He knew what Herit had. Herit knew what he had. This duel was going to happen. And the results would be interesting.

 

"Herit, my good friend. I have missed you." The stranger spoke with slight malice.

 

"I can't say the same, my friend."

 

OoC: Can we use, like Jaden and people?

Lars walked into the shop and kept pecking his stick to the ground so that he didn't walk into someone. He then walked up to the shopkeeper.'

"I'm here to enter the tournament..." He said silently.

"Uhm... How are you supposed to..." The shopkeeper was interrupted though.

"I have my ways..." Lars simply answered.

"Well, first I'll give you a pin of a certain color, and then (I dunno)" the shopkeeper said and Lars could hear the sound of some pins scrambling.

Well I wasn't planning on even having GX or The Sacred Beasts in this, but if you must, go ahead ^.^

 

Valik was sitting at a table in TownSqaure. He was just thinking in peace, watching all of the pathetic duelists walk and act like their lives are perfect.

 

"Haha little do they know what lies in store for them, isn't that right Hadeus?" a voice called out to Valik.

Valik knew who it was. But why is he here...

 

"I told you I was through!" Valik yelled.

"Hmm well we aren't done with you Valik, remeber the deal? We gave you strenght, you use the Seal in this tournament and take countless souls."

 

Valik pulled out a golden rod and pointed it at the man.

 

"Hahaha." The mans necklace began to glow. "You know that little toy is nothing compared to my power.

 

"Fine, I'll keep up my end of the deal...but this is the last time!"

 

The man laughed and began to walk backwards, a strange portal opened up, the man walked through and it closed.

Kris walked around looking for someone to duel, But everyone was afraid of him. Theyed seen his duel with the last guy and like he said he ended up in a psychiatric institute. "I'll walk up to the graveyard, there's always have people to duel there." He said as he walked off.

OoC: I'll keep GX out, but I need sacred beats. How about Yugi and his peeps, can I have them? Or should this be self contained?

"You have changed Herit. A tournament? I thought you were above this."

 

"I am only above what I do not enjoy. And anyways, I am searching for Uria and Amiteal."

 

"I will never understand you Herit. But you know what I want."

 

"And you know what I want. Shall we duel, or will you just give it to me."

 

"I was about to say the same thing." He smiled, maliciously. Herit sensed he had something planned.

Herit loaded his Duel Disk. "It appears this is the only way to resolve our conflict." he said, without any hint of a smile.

 

"It appears so" His opponent smiled, evilly. It was the mind of smile you expected from an enemy

Ria walked out of the shop, whistling happily as she clutched her four yellow pins and single blue. She had frowned at that, but shrugged it off. At least she had four yellows, and none of those icky whites. If there was one thing she would never do, it was wear white over her overcoat.

She twirled her pocketwatch by the chain, looking around for someone to duel. She whistled as she picked up a map, held it upside down, shrugged and walked off to somewhere random, not entirely sure exactly where she would end up.

As kris got up to the graveyard he noticed two people Whoed just been dueling "hey do either of you want to duel? I'll go easy on you." Kris asked in his nicest voice. "No way. We saw your duel with that guy in the square, Your evil and a freak!!!" One of the guys said. The other one nodded in agreement. "WHAT. IM A FREAK JUST BECAUSE IM GOOD AT YUGIOH!!! Thats it." Kris shouted as he placed his blade on his wrist and it turned into his doomdisk. "Your going down!"
