Selene, seeing the utter chaos unfolding, saw an open human. Charging at him, she whipped ou her deck and began a duel.

 

She had been in situations like these before. The right cards constituted a win. And Luck always gave you these opportunities with the cards. Strategy did the rest with a definitive win.

 

((OoC: Anyone want to be the human on the opposite end of the challenge?))

ooc: I will. Let's call him Bob.

ooc: Please post pictures of made-up cards that you use.

'I'll begin by setting a monster into defense position. Now I'll set two facedown cards.' Bob said, laying his three cards facedown.

The emissary doing battle with Rus countered with 'I activate harpie's feather duster, and chain onto it with spell reclamation. Now by discarding regenerating rose I can cause harpie's feather duster to return to my hand whenever it is in the graveyard. Now then, I summon lord poison, and have metal armoured bug destroy your defensive monster. Now, Direct attack from lord poison. 1500 damage! End turn with one card facedown. Keehee!'

Recognizing many of her cards immediately, Selene saw combos forming, "I activate Heavy Storm!" A large gust of wind swept across the battlefield. Her opponent's Facedown's were destroyed by the spontaneous gale.

 

With little resistance left, and five cards, Selene began her next action "Now, Venom Swamp!" The field was replaced with a foggy swamp, with poisonous gases floating around. "Third, I activate Field Barrier, protecting my Field Spell!"

 

With her three remaining cards, Selene knew exactly what to do. She set one monster, and one S/T and ended her turn. She had one card left, but that one card was a definite gamebreaker.

Bob chained onto heavy storm with spiritualism. 'Now I get to keep my facedown card. Other than that, I'll play harpies feather duster and flip up my medusa worm to destroy your facedown monster. So now I'll tribute medusa worm to summon twin-headed beast. Double direct attack!'

Total 3600 damage to Selene. 400 life points remaining.

ooc: 4000 life points during duels unless stated otherwise.

[Necro Pheonix]

"Hm..." Haro drew a card. "I set one card face-down and I end my turn. Your move..." Haro felt a sudden pressure upon him as he realized the urgency of the duel. A bead of sweat traveled down his face and he wiped it away. Haro stared at his deck for a moment. He heard what seemed like a scream that called out from his deck. It sounded like everyone around him could hear it, but they seldom did.

OoC: Isnt Spiritualism a Normal Spell (aka Spell Speed 1)? I'll play along, though.

IC: Selene wasn't expecting that. Then again, there was always a Plan B. As Twin-Headed Beast's attack dropped by 500, she formulated a plan out of her remaining two cards.

 

Deciding on a course of action, Selene set one card in her S/T and one Monster. She needed some extreme luck to win, but she was under no pressure to do so.

OoC: No, I'm pretty sure that its a spell speed 2. If not, then I'm using a made-up card called spiritualitism. It's a quick-play.

Can you guys battle each other? I'm in like 3 battles at once here.

IC: 'Heh. Pathetic' The emissary battling Haro muttered, then 'I'll attack you directly with reptilliane medusa and scylla. Endgamed! Farewell, human.' (ATK 2200 and 1800) (total 4000 damage) (Game Over) 'No!' Dante screamed in horror 'Haro, no!!!'

'Give it up, humans!' Zelkiax shouted 'The rest of your soldiers will fall just as that one has!'

'I wouldn't be too sure about that,' Bob countered. 'I'm doing pretty well against this emissary. I'll hit you with another feather duster, cleaning out your facedown card, and venom swamp. Now I'll equip twin-headed beast with axe of despair. Double Attack for game!'

[Necro Pheonix]

"You didn't think it would be that easy, did you?" A card flipped over on Haro's field. "I activate, Mirror Force!" Both of the emissaries monsters disapeared. "I'm not going to lose today, especially not to you. Say good bye to your precious monsters!" Haro sighed. "Now, just gotta end this..."

OoC: You do realize that 2 feather dusters is illegal on so many levels, right?

IC: "Sorry, my facedown Trap was Waboku! I chain it off your Feather Duster to amount to nothing except the dissapearance of Venom Swamp! And, I'm still Dueling!"

Her facedown was to keep her from losing automatically. Now, she needed one card in her deck. She had 3 of them, but they never turn up when they should.

Luck was on her side today. It showed up.

"I activate Final Gamble!"

Drawing her hand, she definitely knew what to do.

"I'll start with Card Destruction!" Discarding her hand, she reviewed the remaining six card hand "Now, I use Monster Reborn! Targeting Venominion the Snake King!" Venominion already had 4000 on it due to all those reptiles in her Grave, but Selene needed a win, not something coming up short. Spotting her favourite card in the deck, she put it to good use. She activated Wonderclover, by discarding Venom Ivy (Yes, custom. I'd reveal the effect, but right now, it's for discard purposes only.) and Venominion gained the ability to attack twice.

"Venominion! Punish him for his pollution in the world!"

Bob: 4000-(4000x2-3800)=4000-(8000-3800)=4000-4200=-200

ooc: I used spell reclamation. It returns to my hand whenever it's in my graveyard.

'No!' Bob exclaimed 'No! I flip my facedown Negate Attack. Now your attack is negated. That means that your Final Gamble will clean out your life points. Game'

'Very well.' The emissary battling Haro cackled 'I'll set a card facedown and end my turn.'

'Hrk!' Dante groaned. He had just taken a whopping 2300 damage from Zelkiax's Hermes card.

'That's gotta leave a mark.' One of the emissaries battling Krygnifix muttered.

ooc: Yes, I said emissaries. Krygnifix is battling 5 emissaries at once.

'SHUT UP!!!' Krygnifix bellowed, and he killed the emissary using Water Slayer of the Abyss.

'Give it up, Krygnifix,' another emissary said, as the defeated emissary was immediately replaced by another. 'You can't stop us all. And your life points are running out.'

'I have 7450 life points. That's more than I started with.' Krygnifix muttered. 'Imbecile.'

'I'll show you an imbecile!' one of the emissary yelled. 'I flip Gift Card. Now you gain 3000 Life Points'

'Good job.' Krygnifix sneered. 'Now I have over 10000 life points.'

'Exactly,' The emissary grinned 'I set one card facedown and end my turn.'

All of the other emissaries battling Krygnifix smiled.

'My move!' Krygnifix bellowed.

[Necro Pheonix]

"Ok." Haro drew a card."I activate my Polymerazation!" Haro discarded 2 cards. "To fusion Summon, General of Necron!" A creature appeared on the field "Now, I activate Cold Wave!" A image of a frozen dinosaur appeared and all the face-down cards became frozen. "Now you cant activate those until my next turn. But, no wI attack you directly with my creatures to end this game!"

'What? Nooooo!!!!....' The emissary yelled in terror, and then turned into a sapling.

'I'll attack you directly with NightMare DeathBeast! Now Die!' Krygnifix bellowed.

'Heh. hehehe. HaHaHa!!' The emissary burst into laughter.

'What's so funny?' Krygnifix asked cautionsly.

'You are dead!' I flip up my facedown The Turning Point! Now, clean out your deck! Hahaha!!'

'WHAT?!?!?! But that means...'

'And now you have to draw five cards!!! Hehehehehe haha Keeheehahaha'

'No. No! NO, THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING!!! NOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' Krygnifix bellowed, even as he slowly, slowly sank through a trans-dimensional wormhole that appeared beneath him. 'NNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'

And Krygnifix was no more.

Selene had one card for this. "I activate Spontaneous Machine Combistion!"

As she Watched her opponent sink into the ground, Selene also noticed the human leader have the same happen to him. Grabbing a fellow emmisary, she said, "We're falling back. Get the main army and tell them to surround this fortress. They'll die via lack if the very Nature they're killing.

ooc: I don't know what you mean by that.

'Very well.' The emissary sunk through the ground to tell the main force

'Hhurrk!' Bob was absorbed through the wormhole.

Spotting the exit, Selene dashed towards it. There was enough chaos that barely anyone saw her leave. Once outside, she saw the main army in the distance. They were coming.

 

That duel she had inside was interesting. It required obscene amounts of luck to pull off, but it happened. She made a mental note not to get overconfident, though. It was still a narrow win. One she wouldn't be proud of in the future.

Haro saw Krygnifix lose and disapear through the wormhole and ran it. "No!" Haro fell to his knees. "I wasnt strong enough... Why, why?!" Haro stood up. He then noticed Bob was gone too. "Great...just great..." Haro stared at the remaining Emissaries. "I'll take you on. I wil defeat you and get back my leader! Your all going down!"

ooc: For the record, Bob's not gone, Radio414. Neither is Krygnifix. As soon as Rus, Haro, or Aka, who doesn't seem to be doing anything, are defeated, you guys will know what I mean. Besides, it's not GMing to kill a random dude that I invented who isn't even worth an app. It's worse if some random dude who isn't worth an app kills your only character.

 

IC: 'What? Bob? Kri-Krignifix? How?... How?... He was so powerful... The strongest human...' Dante was reeling. 'How could you... how dare you... How DARE you!!'

'Easy.' Zelkiax replied, 'We are stronger. You humans can never- What the?'

Suddenly, a helicopter flew over the battleground, small packets being thrown to the ground out of it by some humans. 'For Mechnar!' They shouted, and Dante noticed that the pilot looked very strange...

 

 

Shaking off the feeling that the pilot wasn't a human, Dante grabbed one of the packets. Unwrapping it, he saw that it was a single card, albeit a card that he had never heard of.

'What on Earth?...' He wondered.

The card packs were immediately opened, read, and burned. They were useless to every single deck in the main army. Even Selene's who tried to keep an open mind on such matters for her Deck. But these cards were worth nothing.

 

For the emmisaries. Selene pondered some while the long siege. What if these cards were for the humans to fight back?

'What the heck?' A human, Steve, wondered. 'MechnarForce... what on Earth is Mechnar?... Wait a minute... Didn't that guy say something... "For Mechnar?" What is this Mechnar...hmm... wait a minute... this card is identical to that NatureForce card that those emissaries used on Mark... What could that be all about?'

 

ooc: For the record, Mark is Steve's brother. He was defeated a while back.

'Hmm... Aha! This card has tilted the balance of power!' Dante yelled exuberantly, placing the MechnarForce card he had taken out of it's pack in his hand. 'Now I can finally defeat you, Zelkiax!'

'Hey! That's not fair! You can't do that!' Zelkiax yelled

'Tough.' Dante replied. 'Now, I'll flip my facedown Gateway from Heaven! Now I can summon Hephaestus, God of Fire and Metal, Talos, Hephaestus' Creation, Atremis, the Hunting Goddess, Atlas, the Holder of the Sky, and StarFlare Dragon! Now I'll equip StarFlare Dragon with Synchro Boost, and tribute all five of them to summon the all powerful MechnarForce!!!'

'What?' Were Zelkiax's last words before he vanished.

Dante paused. 'Why didn't he turn into a tree, like that one did?' He looked at the sapling that the defeated emissary had turned into. 'Hmm...'

Haro walked over and patted Dante on the shoulder, "Simple. He's not gone. If it was that easy, this would have been over a long time ago. That was a good move, he's off our backs for now." Haro examined the spot where Zelkiax disapeared. "Here we go. Dante, you're our new leader. No one is better suited. Now, what is our plan. Do we charge in, wait, or what?"

[Corvidae]

Just then, the helicopter that was carrying the two humans and the other being landed.

'Hey there!' One of the humans called. 'How are you doing? Need some help?'

'Not bad,' Steve replied, 'except that, you know, Krygnifix is gone.'

'What!?!?!' The other human asked, horrified.

'He was outgamed by some "Turning Point" card'

'I've heard of that... doesn't it like wipe out all of your life points?'

'Cleans out your deck.' Steve corrected

'Right. By the way, I'm Bill.' Bill shook Steve's hand, and then two emissaries entered a team battle with Bill and Steve.

'I'm... the leader?...' Dante asked uncertainly. 'I... erm... I vote we should flee. We've already lost Krygnifix and Bob, there's no need to lose any more. And how on earth could Zelkiax come back? No human has ever survived losing. Why would an emissary?'

[Necro Pheonix]

Haro smiled, a comforting smile. "Dante, if you havnt noticed, these things are not exactly what I call, 'Human'. Then, i guess we'll flee. I'll round up as many people as I can and we'll haul tail out of here. I'll be right behind you. Already lost 1 leader, and friend. I'd gladly die before losing another." Haro walked away and threw a card at Dante. "Take this, trust me, it'll come in handy. May seem like nothing now, but hold on to it." The card was completely blank. Haro looked at Dante and smiled.

Dante paused. 'Thank you. Haro, take on of these in exchange.' Dante handed Haro one of the card packs.

And then all heck broke loose. About fifty figures all of which had silvery-tinged skin suddenly appeared from the ground, and they fought the emissaries.

'For Mechnar!' They shouted simultaneously.

'For Nature!' The emissaries shouted in reply.

'What on earth?' Steve and Bill asked. 'What is "Mechnar"?'

'Mechnar is our Ethereal being, much like Nature is that of the emissaries.' The pilot, who Dante only now noticed had silver-tinged skin, said.

'Our? I've never heard of Mechnar before, though.' Dante questioned.

'Not you. Us. We are Androids, opposed to emissaries in every way.' The android pilot replied.

'So which side are humans on?' Bill asked

'Neither. You humans simply survive, halfway between each side.' The android replied.

ooc: Now players can choose to be an android instead of human or emissary.

[Necro Pheonix]

"Mechnar, Nature, I'm just gonna fight this for Earth." Haro said as an emissary aproached him. As they dueled, a couple minutes later Haro drew a card and laughed. "I tribute my Tokens, to Summon... Planetary Guardian-Earth!" Haro slammed a card down and a giant goddess appeared holding a planet. "Now, ATTACK!" The creature threw the planet at the emissary as his ife points reached zero, he turned into a tree.
