I plan on another RP' date=' where everyone is a god. You can be 3 different kinds of gods, which are Spirits, ones that often interact with the people on Earth and their form is more of a form of energy, but can shapeshift. The Omnipotents, which are gods that are often large, and all powerful human-like gods, which normally oversee the events of humans on Earth. There are also Angels, often human-like warriors and heroes that often have wings, and have normally at some point been a human on Earth.

 

However, there is always a ruler, someone that rules above all Gods. He, or She, has the right to be called "King of Kings", and "Lord of Lords". They decide how the people on Earth shall be, they decide how Earth in general shall be. The laws of science, how things work in their world, everything is in their control. This is decided by a tournament, which any loser of the first round becomes the servant of the one they lost to, for 1000 years, until the next Ragnarok (1000 years = 10 God Years)

 

Each God can come from a different faction:

Valhalla - Only where the greatest, most powerful, and legendary gods originate.

Underwolrd - Where only the most deviant, cold hearted beasts have originated.

Umbra - Where mostly spirits originate, where many become Gods of the night, morning, or natural happenings of the cosmos.

Vita Nemus - Where mostly gods of animals, plants, and gods of life originate, and also contain many spirits. Many also become gods of natural happenings of the Earth.

Regnum of Vir - Where mostly Angels have originated, and often become Gods of certain types of people, or things related to Earthly actions.

 

However, someone from the Underworld has finally won Ragnarok, and now a demonic tyrant known as Lucifer reigns. The new Ragnarok is coming up in about a month, so be prepared, as this may be the last Ragnarok, before Lucifer prepares his twisted plan...

I have officially made an RP idea. This one I came up with out of thin air. All the inspiration I needed was the card art from Chaos Sorcerer. I'm going to summarize it for you all.

 

There are people called Soul Alchemists' date=' who can harness the energy of their spiritual being by seperating the Pure Energy and Sin Energy in their souls, creating a discharge known as Soul Energy. You can develop into 2 different beings, depending on your Soul Stability, which is, for the most part your sanity, and your amount of trauma in your life.

 

There are those who's souls have collapsed, and they bleed dark energy, which manifests into beings called Sense Eaters, which can be either a creature or sophisticated human. They are the Sin Energy that comes out of the person, after the collapse of their soul. They have the ability to take away the senses of a person, which cause extreme amounts of trauma. These senses are also the bases of Soul Energy, and you can use different techniques depending on what sense it affects.

 

However, there was a special breed of Soul Alchemists that were the manifestation of Pure Energy, and unlike most of the Sense Eaters, they are more like humans. They are born from those who completely and totally accepted the Pure Energy, and lived a good lifestyle. They have the ability to revive fallen souls, and return them to what they once were. Some have recently been discovered, but they must find them before they are destroyed, so they may end the reign of terror the Soul Eaters have on all people.

The man inhaled the icy mountain air through his nostrils, smirking and running a hand through his short, course black hair. He looked out from his mountain perch, at deep, misty blue landscape before him like a painting on the grandest scale. Nature and splendor surrounded him like a great sphere, pressing up against him like some sort of omniscient lord. He could smell the history here, feel the ancient forces that had wrought this rugged, craggy mountain landscape. The sheer power of unimaginable tons of energy and torsion, tearing and ripping the flat and barren landscape until it formed the rough outline he saw before him, a rough line rising against the bright celestial skies above. The first skyline... a work of art no architect could hope to match, the skill of nature herself, creating a divine scaffold to the rest of her creations- the mountains, the gates of creation, the bones of the earth themselves, like great pillars holding up the sky itself.

 

A pity it would all end in only Seven Nights.

 

The man let a ghost of a smile cross his rugged face as he heard the distinct 'whoosh' of movement, and seven black blurs that crossed the peripherals of his vision for a second. None dared get closer than a foot from him, for good reason; He refused to fall to any bloody sneak attack, and his opponents knew it. Each one, dressed head to toe in black garb, reached for the embroidered handle of their Katana, their faces unreadable due to the black veils that covered them.

 

"Ninja." the man said simply, retrieving his weapon, a long stick from his back.

"Let's play then." he said with a wide grin as, with the force of Prometheus himself, reached upwards and slammed the stick into the ground, causing a massive crack across the entire head of the rocky giant he stood upon. The crags spread out farther and farther until the great rock behemoth itself was filled with spiderline faults, looking increasingly unstable.

 

With an even more herculean effort, the man pulled his wooden stave back, revealing its secret; No longer a headless weapon, the top of the oversized stick had been replaced with a Battle Axe fit for a Nordic God. The sharpened edge of the new granite weapon gleamed in the sunlight like the holy blade Excalibur, making even the most stoic of the darkly garbed assassins tremble for a moment.

 

With a bestial yell, the man leaped into battle, his axe dying the mountain dark with Ninja blood.

 

 

Currently Active RPs: None of my own currently. Working on a concept for the next Teaching Roleplay. Also part of Deja's Graffiti Game.

Heya, CFOB. I've got a problem. I want to make a Yugioh RP, but I want to make it more original. What I've seen so far in the way of plot:

 

1) Anime villain/organization rehashing

2) Tournament backdrop

3) Academy backdrop

4) Other

 

I've tried something like this once before, but failed. That time was due to its being Basic. Now that everyone's forced into Advanced, I'm going to give this another shot. My only problem: I can't think of a decent base. I'm not asking for a plot. Simply a catalyst to get my creative juices flowing. (If you want to suggest a plot, I'm more than happy to hear it ;). )

how about this. you could have it set in the future with yugi moto an old man and yusei fudo as the duel proctor of the new duel academy. after that, you could have it be something to where there are new types of signers that instead of the mark of the dragon, has the mark of the star constellations, like gemini and stuff like that.

well, that got me feeling all creative. now bring the cake of creation forth from the oven of your mind! :lol:

also, i was wondering if i could get comments on this. the plot is kind of long for the intro thing, but then again, i was the one who made the prologue anyway so.......XD oh, and i also did a recap of chapters one and 2 of the previous thread before the person who created the thread gave up on it, since i basically did a continuation of it. but yeah, comments on these would be much appreciated. :D

[spoiler=Prologue: Darkness Falls]

Long ago, when the stars were still young and darkness ran rampant over the face of galactic civilizations, there was a great and terrible war which threatened to tear the entire universe apart and throw all of creation into darkness. During this cataclysmic era, where greed, ambition, hatred, and pride ruled over all with a cruel and unrelenting hand, a brave band of warriors joined there strengths and drove back the great darkness. Knowing that they could not defeat the darkness alone, they sought help from highly advanced alien civilizations to return light to their worlds. as time grew on, more sided with the warriors and fought against the darkness. In a final battle, taking place on the last fortress of the planet Aether, all hope seemed lost. Then, from the depths of despair, their rose those brave few who were able to obtain powers rivaling even the very darkness itself. Using these powers, they and their forces were able to drive back the darkness, and return peace to all that lived.

???: .............."It has been millions of years since the great war against the darkness. All is well in the universe. but yet...why do i feel so uneasy?"

Central Computer: "WARNING! WARNING! MULTIPLE ENEMIES ENCROACHING UPON THE SANCTUARY FORTRESS! ALL OTHER AREAS ON PLANET AETHER ARE NOW UNDER ENEMY COMMAND!"

???: "What?! How could this happen? How could they have occupied so much of the planet already without being seen?!"

Central Computer: "ENEMIES HAVE RECREATED THE PORTALS LEADING TO THE UNIVERSES 'DARKER HALF'. SCANS SHOW EXPONENTIAL GROWTH IN ENEMY NUMBERS FROM THE LAST WAR, AND 20 TIMES THE NUMBER OF PORTALS FROM THE 'AETHER CRISIS'. ENEMIES HAVE ALSO CREATED DARKER VERSIONS OF ALL PLANETS DESTROYED DURING THE 'WAR OF DARKNESS' AND HAVE MADE THEM INTO ENEMY STRONGHOLDS."

???: "I see. So there is no choice then.......activate the interdimensional portal. Find the ones who can end this."

Central Computer: "WARNING. INTERDIMENSIONAL TECHNOLOGY HAS BEEN RECREATED BY THE ENEMY. ACTIVATION OF INTERDIMENSIONAL PORTAL HAS A HIGH PROBABILITY OF ALLOWING ENEMIES TO CALL UPON FURTHER REINFORCEMENTS. ACTIVATION OF INTERDIMENSIONAL TECHNOLOGY HIGHLY DISADVISED."

???: "We have no choice, It's the only way! And also, deploy Luminoth Xenotech. We must keep the enemy from reaching the Great Temple."

Central Computer: ".............COMMAND CONFIRMED. ACTIVATING INTERDIMENSIONAL PORTALS IN THE GREAT TEMPLE AND DEPLOYING LUMINOTH XENOTECH IN THE GREAT TEMPLE AND KEY AREAS OF AETHER."

???:....Heh. If nothing else, at least the technology in the Great Temple and other areas of Aether will strike a critical first blow at the enemy . . . but they won't be defeated so easily. I just pray that the warriors that are brought here can finally end the fighting once and for all...."

 

The war for the universe has begun anew. This time, the stakes are higher then ever before. This time, the war will decide the fate of all creation. No-one is safe. No-where is safe. There are now only 3 choices left to all those who live, who exist. Will they fight against the darkness, will the join it . . . or will they foolishly try to protect themselves and become slaves to the darkness and fodder for the enemy armies? You are a warrior, summoned by Lumina, the 156,912th sentinel of the planet Aether to fight against the darkness once more. Or, you are one who hears the call of darkness and joins in their war against all that live. Are you brought to the darkness...or will take a stand with the light? the choice...is yours....

 

 

[spoiler=Chapter 1: The Gathering of the Light]

Aether has been compromised. Along with many other worlds destroyed in the previous war, a Dark Zebes has arisen. The enemy are numerous, and many. For now, they are held at bay, sealed out of the temples and other key areas of Aether by Luminoth Xenotech deployed by Lumina, the leader of the Army of Light, Lumine Infinitus. Many have arrived on the planet Aether, either brought there by the Interdimensional Portals, or of their own accord. Roland, Byakuya, Zero, and several others have decided to band together and fight against the darkness. No sooner does this occur then the enemy starts attacking the ancient Galactic Federations Marine Corps. (GFMC) Compound. Everyone is teleported there using Zero’s portable trans server and the fight begins. Everyone attacks the numerous enemies and Teknus, a comrade of Zero’s, uses his Technopath abilities to control the ship that was grounded there. Shortly after, enemies appeared in the air. Fortunately, they were taken care of in short order by Samus, and Teknus overloaded the ships weapons systems to fire a continuous stream of energy at the ground, killing all of the enemies that were on it. However, they seemed to somehow survive, and instead became undulating masses of darkness that moved towards everyone. Samus recognized that these creatures were much more powerful then they at first appeared to be, and panic stricken, screamed for the immediate evacuation of the GFMC Compound. Zero immediately activated his trans servers recall function so that everyone was teleported back to the temple, and there it was discovered that the Ing, as they were called, had the unstoppable and irrevocable power to take control of a ‘host’ body, simply by grabbing a hold of them and merging at a sub molecular level. Teknus conferred with Lumina and it was decided that he would use his Technopathy to create Energy Transfer Modules (ETM’s) and Octolith Keys (Octoliths). The ETM’s would protect everyone from possession and the Octoliths would allow them to freely travel to and from a place outside of the normal multi-universal time-space spectrum, the one safe place left, as well as a perfect new base of operations. Teknus made the ETM’s and Octoliths while the others trained against one another. When they were finished, the ETM’s and Octoliths were given to everyone and Lumina traveled to Alinos where the gateway to the Dubliette that the Alimbians had built was, and began setting up a Luminoth teleportal that would allow travel between there and the Great Temple on Aether. Lumina placed the teleportal on the gateway so that in the very moment someone bearing the Octoliths appeared, they would immediately be taken to the Dubliette itself.

 

 

[spoiler=Chapter 2: The Pyramid Monster ad the Negotiator]

The ETM’s and Octoliths merged with their respective hosts without any trouble. Lumina reports that the Luminoth teleportal is ready and everyone travels to the Dubliette in separate groups. Zero drags someone along who momentarily blanks, another follows and vomits, then the various others arrive along with Teknus and Samus. Lumina uses a larger version of the teleportal to transfer the main base of operations to the Dubliette while at the same time in another universe, NERV HQ is attempting their own inter-dimensional mission. The 2 happening at the same time causes NERV to appear in the central chamber. Zero runs there and sees them activating the weapons systems. Noticing that Gorea somehow reappeared as well, Zero mistakenly thinks that NERV is about to fire on it and transes in, taking their leader at gun point and ordering them to disarm their weapons. They comply but talk in code, making Zero think that they are going to try capturing Gorea. Fearing that the beast had already awakened, Zero transes out and appears directly next to it, only to discover that his fears were indeed a reality. Shortly afterwards, Zero discovers that NERV was arming their weapons in response to him, and not Gorea. The result was that they didn’t trust Zero in the slightest as discovered after Zero summons Teknus and Samus to reinforce the field containing Gorea with Chozodian artifacts. While Teknus moniters the field, Samus approaches the front door of Nerv and requests to speak with the leader. Her request is granted and the negotiations take place. Samus offers help and asks them to join the Army of the Light otherwise referred to as Lumine Infinitus, but emphasizes that joining is not necessary for aid. The leader of NERV accepts the offer of help and Samus goes to get the supplies. Meanwhile, Zero approaches the front door of NERV and requests an audience to which he is responded that they will only speak with the “ambassador”, not the "conqueror". Zero becomes visibly irritated at being called a conqueror and sits in front of the door instead of leaving. Meanwhile, back on the planet Aether, Samus and Lumina along with several other Luminoth have finished gathering supplies. Samus remains in the Great Temple to keep an eye on things while Lumina and the other Luminoth technicians go to NERV HQ in the Dubliette. They are granted entrance and Zero moves away from the door a little ways, but then sits back down and continues staring at the front door, willing it to open, even though he knows that it isn’t going to.

Wouldn't "Other" be pretty much anything?

 

Anyway, the way I would go about it is giving each player a Millennium item expy, Shadow Relic, whatever you want to call it, Some kind of Macguffin at any rate, and have them search for the rest of them; Obviously, the items could only change hands if won in a duel. Just an idea, but I like the thought of an RP being based on each player finding eachother, finding out about items, and defeating others in order to obtain their items.

 

If you wanted to make it even more complex, you could make each player have 2-3 characters, assumingly unrelated to eachother, with only one with the appropriate item, to add an element of searching or intrigue to the plot.

 

Just something I thought of a couple seconds ago, make of it what you will.
