Chowder is a good show IMO.

I hate the nostalgic cocks who say a show sucks because some show a while back was better like EEnE, PPG, DXL, and such. (Those shows were great btw, just Chowder doesn't suck is the point I'm making.)

 

What shows references, "The cake is a lie!", DBZ, Street Fighter, Bowser, Speed Racer and Terrible Kung-Fu Action Movie Lip-syncing all in one show?

 

I understand people that say they're too old for such things. (I'm 18 and still watch cartoons.lol. More power to you guys that grew the F' up.) But I hate they people that say a show sucks, never checked it out in the first place, and say "Soandso show was better" simply for "nostalgia is cool" points.

 

Anyway, I like Chowder.

Chowder is pun-tacular, no doubt about it. (whether that is good or bad, is up to you)

TDA is bad

TDI was good

Flapjack is good sometimes.

CN Real fails hard.

Star Wars has great animation; bad everything else

 

Overall...

back on task, I was just informed there was live action shows on cartoon network. LIVE ACTION SHOWS!...on...CARTOON NETWORK!!!!

It's part of this Johnny/Johnny Block they have going with 2 episodes of Johnny Bravo and then 2 episodes of Johnny Test. They have promos of them both saying back and forth "He's got my name!" lol

ummm I thought this thread was about hating chowder.....

well anyways i hate it a bit its random and annoying (I like the randomness sometimes tho)

at first i thought it was going to be awsome but I think Johnny bravo has a better "storyline" and has great comedy....; thats all from me

I have to say that I absolutley hate chowder. But that is because it is meant to cater for teh needs of immature people. Okay I am immature, but not that much. It's just one in the long line of cartoons that try to make kids watch them by having stupid and random things in them. Which I don't like. I say bring back CNX!!!

I dislike this thread for several reasons.

 

1- it's a bashing thread. It's one thing to state your opinion, it's another to create a thread soley for the purpose of people posting here to say "I hate this show, it sucks". This is just stupid and promotes a lack of thought in posts and a negative atmosphere.

 

2- I like the show. I admit that the quality is sadly mixed, but when it's good, it's really good. While it resorts to corny puns and bathroom humor too often, when its drawings, weird humor and artwork are working well, the show is brilliant.

 

3- Flapjack hating. Seriously guys? I love that show so much, it brings fresh ideas into animation, the drawings are incredible, the stories are a great mix of comedy, character and nightmare fuel, and I think it's one of the best shows to ever air on CN.

 

4- No reasoning. You guys are mostly just saying "this show is stupid" or "It's better than this other show which I also think is stupid". Saying things like that makes me think you're stupid.

 

5- Chowder is cancelled. There are like, 4 episodes left. No point in pissing on it's grave.

 

6- There are far worse things to happen to CARTOON network than actual cartoons. Why jabroni about their animated lineup when the channel has started airing crappy live action shows. Compared to CN real, any animation is good.

 

7- The OP has spongebob in his name. Just wanted to point out that it's clear what camp he's in. I could go on for hours about why spongebob has become the bane of animation, but I won't, because its not part of this thread.

1) So? It doesn't matter if it's a bashing thread or not. The fact of the matter is, a lot of people don't like Chowder.

2) Ok. That's your opinion. You have yours and we have ours.

3) Again, that's YOUR opinion.

4) It's not funny, the characters are annoying and unenjoyable, and it lacks anything that makes it special. Granted, it's my opinion and nothing more, but I stand by it.

5) Good.

6) Because this isn't a thread to complain about CN Real. It's a thread to complain about Chowder.

Most of the people saying this show sucks are nostalgic cocks who say that because Chowder wasn't around the same time as other shows they loved.

No, people saying this show sucks are people that genuinly think that this show sucks. Besides, a lot of people can agree that TV was better back in the day, and not simply because it's what they watched.
