Naimo
Uugrokk didn't need to say anything; instead she turned to her colony and started talking in Sak'hra. Estanlya just untied and got onto her horse. "Yes, I think we should go." Her horse neighed softly, waiting for the rest of the party. Uugrokk said nothing, then turned to one of the Groggoks and asked something. The Groggok untied the spiked metal club around his belt and gave it to Uugrokk. She then got onto her throne again, holding the club like a staff. The four Groggoks resumed their duty and lifted the throne onto their shoulders. fenrir
Aeron eyed Uugrokk. "You know, I need some practice, I'll accompany Estanyla." With that, his horse sped away. It was a powerful horse, it's eight legs easily propelling it forward. As he caught up with Estanlya, he slowed. "That ork woman is not to be trusted." He stated bluntly. Whether she believed him or not he wanted to be on people's good side.
Infinitus
Kent came riding on his brand new horse. It's coat and mane were black, and her hooves went clickety clack, clickety clack on the concrete. He saw everyone ahead, and with the Thyrakks around, it was pretty hard NOT to see the group. Everyone had horses, except for one, who apparently had a donkey. He came riding in with the rest of the group, and stopped. He said to all "Sorry I'm late, I tend to lose track of time quickly." He got off his horse to give it a moment's reprieve. He had brought some hay in a bag over his shoulder for his horse on the long journey, and a few apples inside the bag as well, as his new horse apparently enjoyed apples. Naimo
"Oh really?" asked Estanlya. "From what I gather, she is very respected; have you seen the way the Groggoks are so submissive to her? But then again, Thyrakks have a culture different to us; who are we to judge if we are not part of their culture? And Aeron, use Thyrakk in future; I am sure they will be most displeased if you continue to use ork." Behind her, the Thyrakk colony were keeping near them. The four Groggoks carrying Uugrokk on their shoulders showed no sign of tiredness; on the contrary, they seemed to be carrying her with no strain at all. Andx
As Kent had appeared Lucia got on her horse and prepared to go. The reins of her horse and Yum-Yum in hand she started off, at a simple trot at first."Well since everyone's here we should get going. Two of the group are already out running their horses. Since they're in the right direction we should go catch up." she said mostly to Kent.As she headed off it seemed Yum-Yum was a pretty good donkey as he was keeping up with Lucia's horse and staying stable enough that Nani looked relatively undisturbed. As they began the Thyrakk speed off ahead and Lucia was quite amazed that four Thyrakk could carry the large throne and their leader at such speeds. Master Red
"you may place your bag of hay on my cart if you want to, Kent" Nani, said, looking up from the cart. "you barely made it by the way, we are just about to leave" he then added and looked back down into the remotely interesting book. At least he'd now all about the fashion of Human Women, for next fall.. if you had to find something posetive with the thing.
Infinitus
OOC: I'm behind. D:Â Kent noticed that when he came up to the spot the group was at, they just left right before his eyes. Kent's face drained of it's color, worrying about catching up. He quickly put his bag in the young boy's cart, and said to him, "Thank you, now we must hurry before we are left behind." Before long, Kent and his horse were speeding off, following the group from the far back. They were all still in sight, but he was very far behind, and the group was going full speed. Kent kept his position behind them, and his horse was going full speed as well. He supposed he'd have to wait for them to camp for the night before he could catch up. Andx
ooc: You're not the only one awesome. IC:Lucia did have to question the soundness of the idea of blazing out ahead of the only person with the map. The three, Nani, Kent and Lucia, were in the back of the group and it didn't seem they were going to catch up soon."Impatient group aren't they? They left the only person with a map in the dust." Lucia said playfully as she showed the map to Kent who was to her left. Her horse couldn't exactly go full speed as the donkey wouldn't be able to keep up. She had little choice but to stay in the rear of the group. Even if she wasn't helping Nani her horse wouldn't be able to make up the distance at the speeds the rest of the group was going. fenrir
Aeron gave a 'hmmph'. "I don't know about you, but I don't like the thought of those Thyrakks clubbing us to death. Which they surely can do." He glanced back at the orks. They were going at a fast pace. Something he wasn't too fond of. He looked back towards Estanlya. "Last time I checked, they live with a matriarchy. Which is why they respect her oh so dearly."
Infinitus
Kent decided to slow down a little as well, in case Nani needed help. Kent saw the map, and his eyes widened. Kent then turned to her, and said "Don't you think we should tell them? I mean, how are they going to get there without a map?" Kent then wondered what would happen if they split up. If they decided to keep them behind, than that meant that they would end up going the wrong direction, and we would have to end up fighting the dragon alone. Then again, it's not like our comrades are idiots, so he was sure that they would realize it and wait for them.
Naimo
"Of course they live in a matriarchy ... I can only see six females out of the entire colony," Estanlya pointed out. "They must be regarded as a pearl amongst the clams. Well Aeron, I feel we should slow down - we are leaving all but Throkk Uugrokk and her colony behind. And what great going it is, to leave our fellow warriors behind."
Master Red
"You all seem to be an impatient breed" Nani mumbled while flipping a page. He had gotten through almost half of the book now, and he was reading much faster now than before only having troubles with the really long and complicated words. He had hopes of being an excellent reader by the time he had read through the entire book, but he knew that he would have to find a library or a book store of some sort so he could access the litterature needed to learn magic. That or he could use Aeron or that Lucia girl, they both seemed to have knowledge about the Mana Grid and how to use it.
fenrir
"Good point." His horse slowed down, and eventually he had slowed to the point that he was trotting with the others. "Now now, where is this dragon?" He asked aloud, paying attention to the view in front of them.
Naimo
"Amath is hiding in the caves on the Western side of Ahrklit," answered Estanlya, as Uugrokk and the colony caught up with them. The throne was lowered and Uugrokk approached Estanlya and Aeron. "Why have we slowed?" she asked. Estanlya explained curteously and Uugrokk nodded. She returned to her throne and told her colony to wait.
Infinitus
Kent decided that now that we don't have to worry about catching up, he could simply doze off. Just, sit there, and think about things. It would be a long time before we would have to stop, or turn, so he figured he would just lose himself within the depths of his mind. He began to think about what would happen if we were to encounter an enemy on this road. Maybe, he could hide in the bushes, crawl behind his enemy, and......no. Let's not think about blood spilling. Even if it is righteous. So, he decided to think about what would happen if their mission to slay these dragons would be successful. Kent would be a hero. Probably rewarded with riches, treasure, GOLD. He would have a clean slate, a new person, perhaps start a new life as a swordsman, or a blacksmith. He then began to wonder exactly how his comrades would be, after this mission.
~Kefka~
--sry i haven't been on in a while guys, i'll try to be more active Virgil walked out of the room once crowded with men. His blade dripping with blood he walked from the room with the bag the head man once held. "Maybe next time.....you'll think before you try to trick me." he said looking at the corpses that now litered the room.
Andx
It seemed those in the front had slowed considerably as Lucia's group in the back caught up very quickly."I guess you realized that you didn't know where you were going." Lucia said as she slowed to a trot next to Aeron who had asked the question. However it seemed the elven women had had a good idea as to where they were headed."Over here in the caves on the western shores is where they believe Amath the light dragon should be as Estanlya said. Of course there's probably no exact location, that's our job to find. It's a ways away but it's the only one we know of so we'll have to go for it." Lucia said. Master Red
"We need to stop at a town somewhere up ahead" Nani pointed out, almost not visible where he was lying in the cart. "I need to gather more books, preferably about magic, or I'll be of no use to you at all" he continued as he flipped another page, yawning a little. "I'd much like to pick up some elven literature as well so I can learn their language as well" he then added as he realized knowing another language could be of much use for him. ~Kefka~
As Virgil reentered the market place he silently walked threw the crowd. With no designated place to be he wondered where he would end up. "It seems like i'll have to find a new client." he said as he continued foward. "Preferably, someone who won't try to betray me." he thought as he left the market area of the town.
Infinitus
Kent figured it would be best to share his idea for a conversation with everyone else. After all, it would be a bit of a good idea for something to talk about while they ride over. Kent then said, hopefully loud enough so all could hear "Hey, what do you all plan to do AFTER we slay all of the dragons? If we were to be successful, then our lives would probably change alot. Alot of new oppurtunities, since we'd probably be a little more recognized. What do you all think? I, personally, would hopefully have enough gold to live a normal life that doesn't involve sleeping in the woods for three weeks."
Master Red
"I take it you are sure you will survive battling six dragons, speaking like that" Nani said, slamming the book together and stretching a little, looking at Kent. "I for one do not care for fame or gold, neither am I sure I will survive the battle." he started, looking up at the sky, thinking for a while. "I am in this so that I can observe these Dragons and get a clue about what they really are. I have knowledg of the word for dragon but have nothing connected to it, thus I do not know what it really is" he finished, looking at the book before him. He had read most of it by now, only a few pages remained.
Infinitus
Kent shrugged, and said "Well, I think it's always best to have a positive outlook on things. When you're negative about something like this, then you'll be worrying and scared about it so much you won't be able to focus. When that happens, then the last thing you'll see is dragon's flames burning you alive. At least you'll be right about not surviving, but that's probably the one time that I wouldn't want to be right." He decided to look over to his left, and notice all the trees passing by, and it reminded him of what it was like fending for himself in the woods for 3 weeks. If he could slay the dragons, there would be no more of that. But more importantly, the one thing he was looking forward to, was being a different person. Naimo
"And I am doing this for nothing but peace," added Estanlya. "I seek no gold nor fame, but merely for the good of the world. What about you, Throkk Uugrokk?"Â "I do this out of formalities and, to reflect what Gru'khoor Estanlya has just spoken, I too do this for peace. We Thyrakks are peaceful creatures, driven to brutality by the harshness of this world. Perhaps without the dragons, we shall return to our true nature - that of peace," added Uugrokk. "Gru'khoor is our word for elf, though this version used only as a formality to show our respect towards other races. We have an informal version of the word too." ~Kefka~
As he walked Virgil suddenly noticed two figures talking. He broke from the crowd and sat on a nearby bench as not to draw attention to himself. Without looking over he began to evesdrop on the nereby conversation. Master Red
He leaned against the small security fence surrounding the back of the cart and looked at Uukragg. "your language facinates me, beast, so different from the human tounge I have come to master" he said, still not taking his eyes off her. He did not realize that he might have insulted her by calling her kind beasts, he was just a couple of hours old he had no real knowledge of formalities and grace.
