Kent examined him from head to toe. He often seemed to be deep in thought, analyzing people. He also seemed like a quite intelligent person. That could be useful. Plus, the more the merrier, especially when fighting a fifteen foot, flying, firebreathing, beast. Kent spoke up, saying almost gladly "I think he could make a good addition to our party. When you're going up against something like a dragon, it's always best to have more people." With that note, Kent returned to his silence. Suddenly, another thought entered his head, saying:

DONT' SAY..

ALRIGHT, I GET IT! DON'T LET PEOPLE KNOW I'M AN ASSASSIN, DON'T YOU THINK I THOUGHT OF THAT ALREADY?

I was only trying to help...

Kent figured that introduction time was over. He rose up and said to the group "I think it's time we get going. The quicker we get this done, the quicker we can move on to the next dragon, and so on and so forth." He then walked over to the door outside, and opened it just a crack, and turned his head back to the group "If any of you need me, I'll be outside waiting." He opened the door completely, turned back around towards the outside, and walked out into the sunlight. He leaned up against the castle wall, and waited for everyone else.

"Hmm?" Aeron asked. "Horses aren't that hard to obtain. They are a little dull though." He scanned the page with the text Nani was pointing to. "It says- You know what? You're better off not knowing." He rolled his eyes slightly. Opening the door a crack, he held it for the others. "Shall we?"

Uugrokk grunted as she followed Estanlya out. "We Thyrakks have no need for horses; we can cover distances quickly by foot." She talked to the waiting Thyrakks, before telling them, "We shall go and start preparing ourselves; we shall meet you when the sun has moved a good distance (OOC: two hours). Goodbye, honourable commrades." With that the Thyrakks sped off, leaving Estanlya behind.

'that was vague information' Nani mumbled, still trying to figure that word out. He was growing bored of learning how to read but he knew he had to do it, the key to information was through books and in order to access that information he had to be able to read. He muttered something as he glared at the word, it seemed impossible to figure it out.

"I have no idea. I came here as soon as I heard the news," Estanlya answered. "I may as well tell you I'm sorted for transport." She approached a nearby silvery-white horse currently tied to a fence. "This beauty took me down here. She's a fine warhorse." She fondly patted the horses' snout.

Kent simply sat and waited. He thought of exactly where he could get a horse. Perhaps he could just ride someone else's? No, then he'd seem dependant on others and a burden. There had to be a stable or farm of somekind around here. He got up, and began to walk around the city, end to end, looking for a stable or farm somewhere. He searched and searched and found nothing, until he came upon the, apparently, rural part of town. He found several farms and stables with many horses he could buy. He still had some money from his assassin job, and he wondered how much.

He cast his line into the pond of his pocket, searching for money. He found some, but not much. About 30 Gold pieces. He figured it wouldn't be enough, but he was sure he could work for a horse. He saw a farmer with a fine horse for sail. He walked over to the stable, and the man was about middle aged, and seemed quite angry. He asked the man "Excuse me, but how much does this horse cost?"

The man replied sullenly "For any amount of money you have. She's so restless. You'd have to be really gentle with her in order to tame her." Then, something flashed back in Kent's head. A vague memory of when he was a kid, being raised by assassins. He was being yelled at by the dark coated man, saying "Stop being so gentle! You have to be vicious, killer!" Apparently, he was gentle at one time in his life, and wondered if he could possibly tame this beast.

He remembered that people seemed to have been facinated with him, Maybe facinated enough to lend him a horse. He walked off starting to search for a stable or something. He eventually found one, it only contained donkeys though. An old man came in, almost falling over in surprise. Nani looked at him and pointed at a donkey. 'may i borrow one, a chariot would be good too' he said, staring at the man. The man was so baffled he couldnt speak but he nodded slowly, Which Nani took as a yes. 'Thank you kind sir' he said while he gathered a donkey and a cart (that was the closest thing to a chariot availible) and then walked off. He wasnt sure how to use it later on, but he hoped one of the others could handle it.

Kent was a little nervous, and he wondered what would happen if he simply pet it. He patted the horses snout, and petted it a little on the head. He strapped on the sattle to the horse, and the horse started to get a little wild. Kent comforted the horse and put his gentle hand on the horse's head, and it calmed down. He climbed on the horse, and it was calm and tamed. Kent comforted the horse again, saying "See? That wasn't so bad."

The farmer was on the brink of shock. He tilted his hat of straw backwards, and said "Well I'll be...I've never been able to tame this horse. I guess you deserve her then. How much you got?" Kent felt bad, because he didn't have much. He pulled out 30 gold pieces from his pocket, and said "I'm sorry, I don't have very much." The farmer seemed to be pleased with the amount, and said "Actually, that's just enough. Well, enjoy your new horse!" Kent smiled at the man, and said "Thank you. Have a nice day, sir." Kent rode off with his new horse.

Right on time, two hours later, the ground of Rystelle was shaking as the Thyrakks returned, though this time four Groggoks with larger horns carrying the Throkk's throne on their shoulder, with Uugrokk seated on top. Estanlya frowned as they came into view; was this truly a necessary sight? The colony stopped and lowered the throne, and although two of the Groggoks stepped aside, the other two helped Uugrokk off. The Throkk approached the group. "We meet again. As you can see, we are all ready to leave."

Nani had managed to herd his donkey and the small cart back to the Palace, where he was met by the sight of that Thyrakk having re-appeared again. He slowly walked past the Several Groggoks and stopped before the palace looking at the others. "Does anyone know how to use one of these?" he asked, pointing at the Donkey, that stared dumbfunded around itself, scarping it's hooves in the ground. He sat down in the cart before he could get a reply and fished up the wierd book again. Even though the contents of the book did not interest him he was going to keep reading it, he needed to improve his reading further so that he could use it later. Especially for learning spells and such.

It took a while, but Aeron came back from his little adventure, reading a tome of sorts. He was on the back of a stallion of sorts, black with a white mane. The only difference was that this one had eight legs. Before anyone could react, he turned a page of the book. "It's a Child of Sliepnir." He stated, not taking his eyes off.

"That's a donkey," Estanlya pointed out. "They're slow but useful ... though horses are better. You don't have to do much with a donkey, it'll drag the cart for us, from what it seems. Well, I guess we're all ready to go ... if we know where that Kent person went." Uugrokk took one look at the horses and donkeys; it was clear no Thyrakk, Uukgragg or Groggok, would fit on them.

Lucia stepped up to the group walking behind her a simple brown horse of respectable size. Where she had gone, no one could be sure as she hadn't made a very conspicuous exit. As her left hand guided the horse her right was holding the small copy of the map with the location of the dragon on it. She was studying the best course to get there. As she approached the group she stopped without even looking up. She looked up and saw that all but one of the group was there. Kent, the man who liked to keep to himself wasn't around.

"I thought I saw Kent headed off in some direction earlier but I lost track of him quickly. Guess we'll have to wait for him then." Lucia said.

"I know what it is, I just have no Idea how to steer it" He explained and patted the Donkey on the head. He didn't know what the Donkey was called, so he'd better find a name for it. "Yum-Yum" he mumbled, as he kept petting it. "Can someonesteer this thi- Yum-Yum, so I can focus on my reading?" Nani then asked and looked at the others, hoping that someone would volonteer. He saw that Aeron had arrived on an eight legged horse, something he guessed wasn't common.

OOC: ooh, I love that you use Sleipner ^^ I'm from sweden so that is my heritage right there :D

Lucia looked at the donkey; it was sure to slow them slightly, but then again they weren't in a huge rush. Lucia saw a potential opportunity to befriend the Espirituu. Though it seemed her hopes of learning magic from it weren't well placed. This Espirituu must have been young as it seemed it barely knew how to read, let alone use magic. Regardless she decided to help Nani.

"I'll help. Just give me the reins and I'll keep him steady for you." Lucia said.

((I'm a Norse Mythology buff, I use this kind of stuff often. :]))

Aeron ignored Nani, he would have to figure it out by himself. He grunted slightly as Lucia offered to help Nani. He didn't mind it really, but it would of been interesting watching Nani try to ride the donkey. He sighed and closed his tome, taking the reins of his horse. "Shall we go?"

He bowed his head slightly to her. "Thank you" he said and then climbed up into the cart, making himself comfortable among the hay. He opened the book and started reading it through. It was trash, certainly, but even trash was helpful for him to improve his reading. Although, he had to admit, some of the things in there was quite interesting.
