Realistically, it would be impossible to quarantine a zombie epidemic

 

There would be far too many zombies moving in too many directions, hiding in too many places, and spreading at a nearly unpredictable rate. You would also have to calculate carriers like in 28 Weeks Later, because it would be logical for people to have just the right properties within their immune systems to withstand a zombie disease or virus. Carriers would totally screw up any chance of just preventing the zombies from getting out since the carriers would seem normal, but their body fluids would pass the disease.

going far out of hand, no one really has a shot gun. now blunt objects are easy to get a hold of and would do alot of good against zombies (being that they are rotting piles of dead meat) i would sudgest you get a metal bat or keep pipes ready. crow bars are good too, anything at hand. work together w/ anyone alive to make sure that zombies dont pull big numbers (keep them small and scattered) and if you can find a gun dont fire until you can make definate head shots (varies w/ different people so you have to start studying at firing ranges) my plan is simple yet effective. keep a level head and if you need to start it up then run there asses over before implementing this plan!

Duck Tape =/= Falling off

 

The long range allows for an easier escape in case anything does happen.
