Holygiant
Why would you possibly make some rule saying 'anyone who doesn't have 150 posts can't make a contest or judge one'? Why is your post count so important? Those 150 posts could just be a bunch of comments, spam, games, etc. Besides, doesn't the date you joined or the time spent online count? This obviously didn't use to be a rule, I had a few contests in late 08. I just made a really good, original idea for a contest and suddenly I've found out I can't do that. It kinda frustrates me :/
Tortoise Kyle
Games dont use post count.Anyway no support.Noobs will make contests like this:Make the best card - heres mine:[insert card here]And they still do, even though the rules say against it. Sorry.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
I'm sorry for saying that you don't have enough, but apparently this rule was put into place to cut down on spam contests and other things (like Abyss said) If you have questions about it, ask Napoleon. Kizzi
Actually, now that you've pointed it out, I think 3 months or so would be a much better rule.

General Assclown
Well, another reason for this is the 1 on 1 contests. Like the rules say, a member with 150 posts or less can't make/vote in a contest. If this rule wasn't made, people could make new accounts to vote for themselves in 1 on 1 contests. Besides, as stated, they'll make contests like: "Hi, make a cool card and I'll reward youThe End" Yeah, that sounds terrific! -__-

JG.
I hate this rule too. I think that Nap should chnage it so that they may post contests, but caught spamming, cheating, the like, they will be harshly warned, maybe banned.

Muluck
Post count doen't show intuition, nor does it show the fact that one might have read the rules. Are you saying this rule is in actual effect as we type? Judging this rule soley on post count is like telling someone you can't eat until you kill the people who might eat your food. It's redundant and has absolutely nothing with Card Contests. If your going to make a rule based in a Card Making Contest Forum that limits who can make a contest. Make it so that the members cannot make a contest in said Forum until that have entered and placed in more than 3 Card Contests. EDIT:I have read the rule, and it only states that if you have a minimum of 150 posts, you can only host 1 contest at a time. It says nothing about not being able to host any contest. Please disregard the statement above, not in it's totality but in it's current form.

.:Mimi:.
I agree that the rule can be used effectively alot of the time, but some "new" people with low posts aren't all stupid. I'm not one to brag, but take me for example. I've got 3 reps for card reviews, and I have less then 30 posts, so I support.
Guest Supreme Gamesmaster
Axiom of Novelty: Novelty and n00bishness, despite their etymological common ground, are unrelated. That said, a member's first contest should go through moderation if they're 150 posts or less. After that, the mods can let that member be. You make a card, and if it's good enough, the host rewards you. You just made it sound simple for the idiots in the world. Anyways, I support. I made some contests before I was 150 posts when it wasn't a rule. It's no longer an issue for me, having almost 5000 posts, but that's beside the point. Someone who was an awesome contest maker may decide to make a new account for some reason or another, and not be able to until they get 150 posts. (It's an unlikely scenario, I know, but a valid one if it ever happened.)

Silent Omega
Post count does not matter. Some members (below 3 stars) are smart enough to read and follow by the rules. Not all members with low post counts are "noobs". Forcing them to have 150 post count would be idiotic and telling them to basically spam or waste their time on the internet to make a contest. For some stuff that makes actual sense, go look at Muluck's post.
