TAG
We've (And by we, I mean the general gaming community) been flaming Wii haters for hating the Wii. We've been flaming the 360 haters for hating the 360. We've been flaming the PS3 haters for hating the PS3. We've been flaming the PC haters (or rather, those who hate PC gaming) for hating PC gaming. We've been flaming the DS haters for hating the DS. We've been flaming the PSP haters for hating the PSP. But you know who I've never actually seen line up to the firing squad? Non-gamers. I don't mean non-gamers as in people who just play video games from time to time. I mean people who straight up HATE video games. And no, I don't mean the people who hate video games because they want to have Jack Thompson's babies or because they're a "scientist" who believes that video games will turn your brain into yogurt. I mean the people that hate video games using the same attitude as a PSWii60/DSP hater. Those who are all like "The PS3 sux" or "360 sux" or those who would make discussions on how much system X sucks. Why don't we see that much flaming on those who hate gaming because they just do? I mean, Wii haters are a supposed disrespect to Wii lovers, PS3 haters are a supposed disrespect to PS3 lovers, etc. But the Anti-gamers are disrespecting the entire community as a whole. So why don't they get any gunfire?

Lemniscate
Because the gaming community would rather spend time flaming other gamers, who they can flame while gaming. Shorter version: Gamers are lazy.
fenrir
TAG actually has a point; sadly there are too much fanboys that don't like to play other systems and focus on flaming the ones that they don't play/like. Because of that, non-gamers don't really come into play, since they hate all systems. Falkon 491
I love all systems, so if you guys are putting yours up for adoption, I'm a taker :P Seriously though, I'm not picky about the games I play. Wanna know what I've found out? People tend to hate games and systems that they haven't even tried. They'll listen to their friends and the stereotypes they hear on television and blogs and etc., and they'll form the opinion that it isn't good because of that. It doesn't have too much that would truly interest me, other than the MM games and maybe 30 second hero. :D But still, I understand where you're going with this. Dark
I mean people who straight up HATE video games. ... Wow, tough question. Uhh... I guess it's because they aren't part of the video-gaming community AT ALL. Microsoft/Sony/Nintendo fanboys are, but these people are just the losers who hate video games. They aren't worthy of flaming. And if we did flame them, they'd be getting flamed by every person in the video game community. A SHITLOAD.
