Negative Repping New Members that accidently post in other peoples thread

Sorrow.

Recommended Posts

Lately I've been seing people Negging people for posting cards in other threads. Yes I know the rules state that they cant do that but they dont really look at the rules... This is probably not a good idea but we should report people for Negging people who post cards in threads (New Members only of course or newly joined people as in started in NOV.)

When I was a New Member I didn't read rules yet I didn't post cards in other threads, still we can make the rules small and say.. New Members cannot be Repped.... That is fair enough, 25 posts they probably will see other New Members that post cards in other threads and get flamed........

So basically this is pretty much fail =\.......

If there is a good post please keep this moving.....

If theres not Mods please close..

Yeah, pretty much.

All this thread is basically asking if to allow new YCMers a get-out-of-jail free card. This is the type of scenario you're asking for:

Thread Creator - Rate my card?

Ragnarok1945 (as always first to post) - Blah blah blah

Noob - Hey, cool card! Check out mine *spam spam spam*

Experienced YCMer - Oh it's alright if you do that, after all, you didn't read the rules and you're new to YCM, so it doesn't matter.

You want YCM to end up like that?

lol'd @ bold. That's sad and true.

@ italics: Corrected. lrnthedifference.

And that's pretty much how it is. As I didn't read the rules when I started, and didn't really until June of last year. Yet, I still got along fine by playing by ear. So I don't expect others to read the rules either.

There was no italics

Edit: Nevermind, I saw it.

Anyway, I don't need to learn the difference. Let me explain this to you Icy. There's 2 types of noob/newb; Noob and Newb.

Newb - A user which is new to something.

Noob - A user which is new to something and doesn't read the rules, etc.

So therefore, I did use the right "Noob" in my example.

A n00b who does something against the rules to PURPOSELY break them. Or does so repeatedly, regardless of what other people say (amount of people is irrelevant; how many incidents is). As you cannot expect a new person to read the rules.

And as I said. I didn't read the rules for quite some time, does that make me a n00b? No.

No, it doesn't but at least you were willing to learn unlike some of the other "n00bs".

Screw Rules. I learnt everything from Pikachu. =/

I learnt from .... well ...... I just went with the flow =/
