Kirby's Dreamland: The Fight for Popstar [Advanced] [Started, Always Accepting]

Welcome, one and all, to my Kirby RP. I'm sure you all know Kirby, the Super Tuff Pink Puff. If you didn't, what the hell are you doing here? Anyways...

 

The previous time I did this, this failed because it was only open to Organization Kirby members. Now that it has been long gone from the first few pages of the C&O Forum, this has been reopened for all who wish to enjoy it.

- Standard YCM and RP rules apply. (spamming, flaming, trolling, etc.)

- In order to be accepted, one must first fill out the application form correctly.

- Characters chosen must be from Kirby's universe that are not the enemies.

(Available characters include all of Kirby's forms not yet taken, Waddle Dee, Waddle Doo, etc.)

- Powers chosen cannot be given up later, so choose wisely who you shall be.

(Friends/Foes only means ways you will act towards other players depending on their choice, it does not mean you are fighting with/against each other. For instance, someone may choose Fire Kirby, and have Water Kirby as a Foe, meaning they will argue with each other a lot, rivalry, etc. It's mainly a way to vent anger in this RP, or if you don't like certain Copy Abilities for some reason or another.)

[spoiler=Opening Story]Kirby has saved Dreamland yet again, and peace and prosperity rained for quite some time. Unfortunately, it was not to last. Nightmare and O2 have formed together all of Kirby's enemies in order to finish him off once and for all. They have stolen the Star Rod to use for their own. They have also brainwashed Meta Knight, King DeDeDe, and many of Kirby's friends, as well as enemies who wanted nothing to do with it. Popstar has been blasted apart into many smaller planets with the power of the Star Rod. The resulting explosion of power from the Star Rod has also effected Kirby. He has been split into dozens of copies. Together, the Kirbies must gain abilities and join forces to defeat Nightmare and O2 and save Popstar!

When I meant Friends/Foes, I didn't mean the villains. I meant how you'd act towards other good guys.

We only have 6 people. I'll give it one more day. And when this starts, I'll still be accepting people throughout the RP.

And we're basically going on a badass adventure to beat bosses and collect the parts of Popstar?

Yes. And if you guys read the bad guy list, you'll know when (if) we beat them, someone gets Master Hand or Crazy Hand. Or Dynablade, 3 badass characters. Though you won't be able to change to them now that you've already picked your character.

 

If you're wondering what Master Hand and Crazy Hand are doing here, Master Hand was a boss in Kirby and the Amazing Mirror (I think that was it) and I just put Crazy Hand in there to make it more interesting. (When we do get them, we need someone to choose both of them, and until then they can't fight, so it's a little more fair.)

I just realized that I'm probably gonna need to be in King DeDeDe's castle when this starts...... Also I may need a way of transportation so can he have a weak sort of parasol so he can move from place to place? I promise he won't use it in any way other then that.

Yeah, your Waddle Dee gets a parasol, and he can use it any way he wants. The inflation was the one special power you get to choose for him. I also want to point out that Waddle Doos get parasols, but no special power, since they can already fire lazers.

 

This will start tomorrow when I get on. Time for Thanksgiving Break so I'll be on early.

Also how will the Kirby Squad be able to meet up with Futo?

We'll get to it when we get to it. In most meeting times in RPs I've been in, we usually just plan as we go.

OoC: Sorry for double posting, and this OoC only post, but I don't have time to do this, I've had last minute schedule changes. Just start without me.

 

EDIT: OoC: No one's posted, and I'm back, so I'll start it. Just want to point out, we all start in Green Greens

 

Kirby woke up in the middle of a large, plant-filled field, rubbing his head. Ugh... I feel like I got hit by a train. Or King DeDeDe sat on me again. Kirby got up and looked around. He saw a cliff in the distance and ran towards it. When he reached the edge, he almost fell off. He looked over the edge, realizing it was not a cliff, but a part of Popstar, torn assunder from the rest of the world. "What's going on?!?" Kirby backed away from the side. "This is freaky, how did this happen? I-" Kirby suddenly remembered something.

 

Nightmare and O2 stood in front of Kirby, King DeDeDe, Meta Knight, Rick the Hamster, and Gooey beside him. Dynablade, Master Hand, and Crazy Hand floated above. "You have lost this time Kirby. With this-" Knightmare took from his cloak the Star Rod. "With this, O2 and I will take over this world and finally be rid you, you pesky marshmallow." Knightmare held the Star Rod up in the sky. O2 floated up to it and enveloped it in shadow. Suddenly, it released a wave of dark energy. Across Popstar, earthquakes shook the planet, floods crowded the towns and villages, volcanoes erupted lava and ash into the sky. Kirby fell into unconciousness as Knightmare and O2 laughed maniacally.

 

Kirby started crying. "Man, they interrupted my lunch with all that..."

Fighter Kirby awoke in a field covered in green. The last thing he could remember was being wiped out by some white beam of light that left him unconscious. "Ehhh, what just happened?", he said as he finally stood and looked around to see if he could find anyone else to talk to. Then he tried to release Fighter form, and realized he couldn't. "Wait, what?", Fighter Kirby said as he tried once more. "Dang, I must be stuck in this form for the time being. Maybe the beam of light had to do something with it.

 

 

He then saw Kirby, the normal pink one. "Hey, you!", Fighter Kirby yelled as he ran towards Kirby.

Ghost kirby woke up in a tree on a grassy field. He saw a Pink and a Orange Kirby. "What just happened?" He asked himself. In a daze started to get out of the tree into thee grassy field. As he floated out of the gtree he went towards the 2 other kirbys He went behind fighter Kirby and Tapped him on the shouder. "Hey, Orange Kirby, do you know what happened?" He blinked twice as he saw his transulesnt hand. Oh yah, ime a ghost he remembered.
