Kayla stepped back, tears in her eyes.

"I was...just...hungry..." she muttered.

Then Celeste checked on Caleb to find that his body was now entirely pixelated.

"Oh no..."

[Blackstone Dresden]

Darkdramon was about to go after Kayla and apologize, but he stopped when he saw Caleb "Oh, Huanglongmon..." He whispered, turning to Celeste, "Please, that antipixel stuff, how much of it do you have here?" He asked quietly, noticing that Caleb was half awake "Please, give it all to him." He said, his voice somewhere between commanding and begging, so that Celeste couldn't tell whether the dramon was going to breakdown or get violently angry at her.

"I'm sorry, but I already used the last of it." Celeste confessed.

She patted the weeping Digimon on the back as MarineAngemon used his Pretty Heart technique to soothe the psychological agony.

"It's alright, big guy. God gives, and he recieves. Caleb will be in a batter place soon." Even Celeste was a bit misty by this point.

"Amazing," Sam said looking up in awe at the former Kapurimon, "So three digimon? I assume he has a land form, an aquatic form and an aerial form?" He gestured to Blimpmon as he asked the about the last one.

"I know you get fascinated by the mysteries of the digital world. But we have got to get moving." Beelzemon said as he checked the ammunition of his shotguns, even though they never needed changing.

Yasyamon nodded, "I would have to agree."

[Blackstone Dresden]

"Celeste, please, there has to be something you can do..." Darkdramon said, reverting to Commandramon, causing the top half inch of Caleb's head to briefly stabilize, "Please," He repeated, dropping his gun and taking his helmet off, bowing his head respectfully over Caleb's bed, his partner's feet slowly disappearing.

 

"Celeste..." He breathed, his voice distorted and weak and pained "I... I love you..." He grunted and, though his face had been blurred by his virus, it was apparent that he was in pain.

 

Commandramon was in too much shock to notice that Caleb just professed his love for someone who, in her subjective timeline, had only known him for less than three weeks.

 

"That is absolutely correct. He's got his Blimpmon line, his aerial form as you called it, his Tankmon/Mekanorimon line, land, and his Submarimon line, aquatic." Karatenmon explained. "Now then, please board the blimp so we can get out of here."

Sam put his hand up in front of Beelzemon and turned back to Karatenmon, "Sure thing." He created a set of digisoul stairs and began to climb to Blimpmon and entered into the large digimons interior section. Beelzemon stood there his mouth gaping wide open.

"I cannot believe it. I actually prefered him when he was being controlled by Ogudomon." Beelzemon shook his head and started for the door behind Sam. "I wonder what would happen if I sent him back to the real world, but kept his digivice?"

"I don't know," Yasyamon said, "But I have a feeling that it wouldn't be a good idea to find out."

Karatenmon's eyes narrowed into a glare "Listen, Demon Lord, I'm not going to beat around the bush. If you want to go and rejoin Ogudomon, be my guest. If you want to take Sam with you, then you and I are going to have a problem. If you were by chance sincere in switching sides, then shut up and get on the blimp." He drew his twin swords and held one out parallel to the ground, aimed directly at Beelzemon's throat. "Which is it, Demon Lord?"

 

The small army of Ultimate Bird Digimon started gathering behind Beelzemon, waiting for Karatenmon to give them the signal to attack.

 

((By the way, Blimpmon's airborne, not on the ground.))

"You know Karatenmon. You are really starting to bug me." Beelzemon said moving his fingers by his sides, "And even without my old seal, I would probably still give you and your buddies behind me a run for your money." Yasyamon placed a hand on his shoulder, Beelzemon turned his head and nodded his aknowledgement to his friend. He crossed his arms and looked up at the black bird, "I never said about switching sides. I was joking, or is that concept to big for your bird brain? I have had it up to here with sword wielding idiots threatening me simply because of who I was." He turned and walked up the digisoul steps created by Sam. "I suggest you get over yourself and realise that there are also other people who want this war over."

[Blackstone Dresden]

"I believe everyone in the Digital World wants the war to end." Karatenmon said, flying up and landing three steps above Beelzemon "The only question is who they want to come out on top." Karatenmon said as the Bird Digimon flew to match Beelzemon's height, "Now, who's to say that you didn't simply give up your seal because Ogudomon wanted a spy in Huanglongmon's forces?" He asked, his sword still lined with the former Demon Lord's neck.

"Out of the way." Beelzemon growled. Sam reappeared at the door and looked out at the scene.

"Whats going on?" He asked. It was obvious that there was something going on between Karatenmon and Beelzemon, but Sam couldn't quite put his finger on it.

"They're having an arguement." Yasyamon called past them to Sam. The boy mouthed a why and Yasyamon just shrugged.

"You're right everyone does want the war to end in one way or another." Beelzemon said knocking the sword away, "But you've got to remember. Ogudomon's forces wanted the war to begin in the first place. I did not." He put his boot up one more step. "And just because I am a Demon doesn't mean I'm a spy. In fact as I seem to remember, you called yourself a Demon."

[Blackstone Dresden]

"Indeed I am. However, I am also the personification of the Bird DigiMemory, which all but precludes me from being allied with Ogudomon. And, were I to somehow gain the trust of the very essence of all Bird Digimon that have ever or will ever exist as a follower of the Dak God, I most certainly would have turned over the Bird DigiMemory as soon as it was entrusted to me because, as you well know, nothing is more important to Ogudomon that removing the eight swords sealing him in place, especially not something as insignificant as a single spy."

"Right. Now if you'll excuse me I'm getting on the Blimpmon. If you have any objections I suggest you say them before I move any further." He said shaking his head.

"Look will you two get a move on?" Yasyamon and Sam shouted together.

"We were both with him when we were fighting against Daemon. We were both with him when Huanglongmon himself fused me with my digital counterpart. WE WERE BOTH THERE WHEN WE WERE GIVEN THE CHOICE TO FIGHT OGUDOMON OR NOT." Sam stood there shaking.

"I'll be watching you Beelzemon." Karatenmon said, boarding Blimpmon and reverting down to Falcomon and letting out an exhausted huff "I hate running off the DigiMemory for so long." He told Sam "After a while the battery starts to get drained and Fury starts to rear its head. Ugh, sorry about that though, I really only had enough control left over to not Warp Digivolve and attack you at that point." He somehow managed to bow to Beelzemon out of respect, despite his seeming lack of waist, and flagged down the Bird Digimon army.

Celeste was shocked at this turn of events.

"WHAT?!?"

 

Meanwhile, Daniel had called for another council of war.

"Any senior staff and auxilaries, please report to the conference room." The PA announced.

"Huanglongmon dammit, Caleb." Commandramon muttered, coming to his senses "Alright, save his life and I'll tell you about what happened the last time, OK?" The little dramon said "Hell, use my data if you think it'll slow down the process." He sighed at the PA, "And please, ignore your Commander just this once. I think he'll understand."

 

BanchoLeomon, Marcus, Blade, Jack, Ashu, and Temblor were all gathered in the conference room, evveryone except BanchoLeomon wondering what in the Hell just happened to them.

Daniel, Kayla, Ian, Garrett, and Alice walked in and sat down.

"Sorry for the short notice. Brain and Greg are busy working on an important upgrade to the Blimpmon, and are unable to attend."

"Now, let's get down to business. According to intel, everyone on this ship has a bounty of at least 1 million USD, with that being the asking price of one of my privates. I currently have a bounty of 200 million USD, with Kayla and Justin at 175 each, Marcus and Blade at 125 each, Jack at 150, and Ashu and Temblor at 100 each."

Several holographic wanted posters appeared above the conference table.

"Killing everyone in this room could net someone a billion dollars, and taking down this entire ship would be worth more than some small countries."

"In other words, we are the most wanted men, women, and Digimon in the entire Digital World."

Beelzemon just grunted and looked around. Sam rubbed his eyes, "Sorry about him, but that means he accepts your apology. He just needs time to cool down."

Yasyamon was in awe. He had heard of Blimpmon, and had seen them from afar, but he had never been inside of one. "This is amazing. I have never seen something so... wow!"

[Blackstone Dresden]

"Aww come on, only 200 million for a Royal Knight? That's a bunch of crap!" Ashu muttered louder than he expected, only to get popped on the head by Temblor.

 

"Quiet. But I have to agree, we shouldn't be worth slightly over half of Justimon."

 

"Are you two seriously complaining that our allies don't want to see you dead enough?" Jack asked "Priorities people."

 

"Easy for you to say Mr. 150. Why the Hell are you worth so much? What have you ever done?"

 

"Fought Ogudomon's vessel and somehow lived? I doubt you two would have been able to do that."

 

Two puffs of smoke shot out of all the vents, "Apparently he heard you" Falcomon said, unloading a comically gigantic load of ninja weaponry onto a nearby table "Ah, much better."

((You do realize we're talking in MILLIONS, right?))

 

"Anyways, we need to figure out our next move. I'm sure we have a few friends that might be able to help us, but we also need to find some new allies to help us overthrow the other Demon Lords and put Kayla here on the throne."

Daniel pressed a button, and several snapshots of other leaders of nation-states and factions inthe Digital World appeared.

"Our options are as follows: The Olympus Twleve, GranDracmon's Nightmare Coalition, and the Digimon Sovereigns."

"The Olympus Twelve are part of the Spectrum Alliance, but part of their group has defected, and they probably would love to hear of a way to finish the war faster than the Alliance and save their comrades. But they also might just turn us in as soon as we get there, and they are a staunch supporter of the Allaince, which would cause tensions if we hide out with them."

"GranDracmon leads the Nightmare Coalition, a group of disgruntled wannabe Demon Lords that had power in Zhuqiaomon's Territory until the Demon Lords returned. Currently, they are part of the Black Empire, but they barely contribute anything, even though they have tons of troops, and might as well be considered loose allies. Due to GranDracmon's belligerent nature, we might be able to start a civil war, crippling the Empire and stunning it enough that we could stage a coup-d'etat."

"Finally, the Royal Knights may head the Alliance military, but the Sovereigns have complete control over the Alliance. Furthermore, they have their own guardian force, the Devas, but they aren't as powerful as the Royal Knights. There is the possibility that we could seek refuge with the Soveriegns, but it is very slim, unless we have someone with connections."

"My personal choice is GranDracmon. He is closer, has an actual military we can hide behind, and wouldn't tear the Alliance apart in the process. But, I want a vote, so tell me your choices, please."

"Coalition."

"Olympus Twelve."

"Sovereigns."

"Coalition."

Daniel picked up his phone, and the other senior staff members sounded off.

"Sovereigns."

"Coalition."

"Olympus Twelve."

((Yes, they do, but still the fact that Justimon's worth that much more than Examon boggles their minds.))

 

"Olympus Four's out." Marcus said "Junomon, Ceresmon, Vulcanmon, Venusmon, and Vestamon were killed in the initial attack. Minervamon and Merukimon turned traitor and killed Jupitermon. They have enough strength to keep the Pawns from invading but not enough to make them a threat to Ogudomon. If they housed us, we'd just get them executed." He sighed "Blade and I vote Sovereigns."

 

"Sovereigns."

BanchoLeomon just growled.

"Alright. We just need to hear from Admiral Valkyrimon and Captain d'Arcmon. Say, where are they? I thought they would go to this meeting..."

Lucemon found it odd how long the Gargoylemon took to answer, but there was probably something important happening that divided its attention. 'My Lord Ogudomon, I know you can hear, what is the current situation, such as the Marines who entered Celestus Lucemon inquired across a mental link. Duke folded his arms, he hadn't said much,a nd didn't bother too. This was Lucemon's show, and he knew that the angel wouldn't let anyone else be the star.

"Probably flying the ship." Jack mused "A ship like the Silence is probably too advanced to have something as trivial as an autopilot, right?" He asked, keeping all but the faintest hint of sarcasm out of his voice.

 

((Just skip over the corrupting of Celestus BH, I'm too lazy to go through the whole thing and make it believable))

 

"The DigiMarines are now the enemies of everyone in the Digital World. There are Demon Lords with less of a bounty on their heads than some of their higher-ups, though why their Commander is worth just under four-hundred million American dollars is beyond me." Ogudomon's voice told Lucemon.

[The Warden]

'I see, then I will stop wasting my time with bantering these worthless angels and deal with the issue' Lucemon replied, before facing the angels. 'My time here was wasted on you, I hope you don't think badly of me as you are casted into oblivion' Lucemon said contemptuously. He grabbed the Garogylemon and it screamed in agony as darkness consumed it, transforming it into a Devidramon. Lucemon turned his attention to the other angels, all their courage and brevado evaporated. 'This will be fun' he said contemptuously.

 

Standing before Lucemon was a brigade of demons. All the Garoylemon Devidramon, all the Angemon Devimon, but the MagnaAngemon had been left alone. He was beaten badly, his laser shield and Excalibur lost, he was held in the air by the Devidramon. 'You tried my patience angel, I would consider having you torn limb from limb, but my master wouldn't find such an action to be in his best interest. Have no fear, you will be reborn again, as Murmuxmon' Lucemon said, his voice thick with annoyance, hate and anger. Dark energies seeped into the angel, he was silent as his holy armour fell off, the very feathers on his wings slid away until he was gone, replaced with the horrible demon Murmuxmon. 'Go, summon and corrupt what troops you can' he ordered. The demon bowed, taking the small brigade with him to Celestus. 'After this day, Celestus will be a living hell' Lucemon promised. 'Quite dark' Duke commented.

"Excellent, Lord Lucemon. Now, go and put that army to good use, the Bird DigiMemory holder is en route, head him off before he makes it back to Celestus and puts a wrench in our plans. All my other Demon Lords are either otherwise occupied, or dead, so I'm afraid you're going solo on this one, Lucemon. Digivolve to Mega if you need to, just make sure to kill everyone and destroy everything that stands in your way. Make the Bird Digimon know beyond a shadow of a doubt that if they continue to rebel against me, they will face a fate worse than eternity in Leviamon's digestive tract."
