The Beat Man Digimon looked up at the silver armored Royal Knight "Alphamon." He said with a glare "Don't you know your own legends? You're not supposed to show up until five seconds before the World gets deleted." He showed his fanged teeth in an action that couldn't be called a smile by any stretch of the imagination "One, two, three, four, five." He said, counting upward very slowly "See, you're early. Now go back to wherever the Hell you spend your time and leave the Digital World to fix itself." He looked over at Daniel and placed his hand on his Dan Kon blade "Don't be a fool, Sir." He said in a whisper "What transpired here must never happen again."

 

Darkdramon set Caleb, Kayla, Celeste, and MarineAngemon down on a rooftop. By now, Caleb's entire body from his ribs to the soles of his shoes and both arms had become data, his right only went up to his elbow, while his left was pixelated up to his shoulder. "Nurse Celeste, wake up." He said, shaking the frightened DigiMarine girl. "Caleb needs you."

[Premier Alexander Romanov]

Celeste looked around, and quickly found what she needed.

"Here we go."

She picked up a serum labed "Antipixel.exe" and placed in a syringe, which she injected into the still-human parts of Caleb.

The pixelation stopped, and started to reverse itself.

 

"Not guilty." Daniel replied with a smirk, which shocked the entire room.

Sam paced back and forth. "I think that the best plan would be to make some sort of recon run then come back here." He sat down on a stool of digisoul that appeared beneath him.

Nohemon jumped up pulled by his crow who landed his hand by the scarecrows side. "I'm afraid to say that if you've seen any movie with a plot like this, your master will die. But we will be able to save your girlfriend."

Yasyamon gave him a hard stare and spoke without turning his head, "Don't worry though. This isn't a film. We will get them both out aswell as the marines."

The pixelation only receded about three or four inches before stopping completely "It's not enough..." Darkdramon growled "Give him another shot!" He demanded, reverting to Tankdramon, then Sealsdramon and standing over Celeste, worried but not showing it. "Please, Celeste, help him. Trust me, it's in your best interests."

 

"Master Valkyrimon will not die." Karatenmon said sternly "And Miss D'Arcmon isn't my girlfriend, an Angel-type like her would never go for a Demon-type like me." He sighed and shook his head "Alright, so, we have a redeemed Demon Lord, an earthbound Ultimate, a half dozen flying Ultimates, and a smattering of Champions. And, of course, me. And we're planning an assault on the entirety of the Angel-type Digimon and the strongest Royal Knight. Did I miss anything, or are we really that @#$%ed?"

[The Warden]

Lucemon was still silent. 'Should we head back to Celestus?' Duke suggested. 'Yes, we have unfinished business there, primarily Lilithmon's successor and the holy digimemory' Lucemon replied. Lucemon grabbed Duke by the wrist and took off for Celestus. 'What a obnoxious situation. Two of my comrades turned on me, I hate it when I need to destroy those who are still useful' Lucemon bemoaned.

[Blackstone Dresden]

"Remember" Ogudomon's voice whispered "I don't want you to slaughter the Holy Digimon, I want you to turn them towards my path, the path to perfection."

 

As Lucemon approached Celestus, a swarm of Gargoylemon and Angemon greeted him and Duke. "You shall go no further." The sole MagnaAngemon said gravely "There is no hope of you entering Celestus. Brother Lucemon, we do not want to have to kill you but if you force us to we will be left with no choice."

[The Warden]

Lucemon released Duke and floated forwards. He had a knowing smile on his face. 'You make it sound as if I have evil intentions for Celestus. I am simply horrified that an angel type, such as yourself, would make such a accusation, especially in such a dark tone and subject. I am simply searching for what I require, but I am curious. Why would you consider the destruction of your home? Would it mean that you are your forces are not as loyal to the Failed God as you think?' he said charismatically. 'Wow, he's actually making them think, he must be trying to turn them' Duke thought. 'If I desired the destruction of Celestus, I would have destroyed it ten times over before, but I have not. Barring my way is just proving that you are more suspicious and paranoid than ever, soon you will turn on each other from your growing hysteria, if you continue to obey the Failed God' Lucemon continued, enjoying himself immensely.

[Blackstone Dresden]

"Your pathetic lies will have no effect on us." MagnaAngemon told Lucemon "Your words may be able to sway other Digimon and humans, but we are the holiest of the holy. Nothing you can say will blind us to Huanglongmon's light, I promise you that." Thunderous cheers of agreement roared out from the crowd "Your lies are meaningless beneath Huanglongmon's truth!" More cheers sounded from the army "Now, please, cease and desist, lay down your darkness and Corruption and return to Huanglongmon's light."

[The Warden]

Lucemon smirked. 'Such loyalty, I must say it is refreshing to hear such praise to a god, even a failed one at that, however, I do not lie, as I see and speak the truth' Lucemon stated, waving his index finger, only to point it at a Gargoylemon. 'You, come here' he ordered sternly. Duke was silent, watching Lucemon's odd act. 'Why point to a random digimon like that, what could Lucemon be planning to do?'

Nohemon smirked a little, "So you like the angel lady?" He stepped forwards, "Don't worry. I didn't mean what I said about Valkyriemon. Though if you've watched any films thats the way it would go down."

"Would you be quiet, just for a second?" Sam said tiredness in his voice, "Are you sure there aren't any megas here? If we even have like, one more apart from Valdurmon, we might be able to take out most of the defenses."

Yasyamon had been thinkning about things and hadn't spoken, "I think that Valkyriemon and D'Arcmon will know you're coming to help them, so they will expect some air support." He tapped the chin on his mask, "But it wouldn't surprise me if there is both air and land defense. We're giong to need a distraction."

Sam turned and looked at his partner, "Well what better distraction than to have a Demon Lord come into there midst."

[Blackstone Dresden]

"Female Angel-type Digimon are known far and wide as the pinnacle of beauty, and she is the fairest of them all, in more ways than just physical." He looked down and gestured at himself with his swords "And I'm a crow. Not like Yatagaramon and Crowmon, but like the scavenger, the bird that feasts on death. How can I possibly expect D'Arcmon to think of me and not see Fury Mode and the destruction it reeked upon the Digital World?" He shook his head "Nohemon, stop distracting me, Yasyamon, tell me something I don't know, Sam, what's your plan?" He asked

Nohemon put his hands up apologetically, then spoke gently. "How? The Digi-Marine leader, Daniel, went into enemy territory. And brought back a friend. That friend had been implanted and changed into a minion of Lillithmon. She now has almost become Lillithmon. And yet Daniel still see's his friend." Nohemn crossed his arms, "That my friend is how. But you've told me to stop distracting you so..."

Sam brushed his hair back with his hands and kept pacing, "Well either we send in Valdurmon and have him slide digivolve into Beelzemon. But that way everyone will know who we are." He stopped and looked at the three digimon in turn, "Or we have Beelzemon go in guns blazing, hopefully most of the guards won't know that the seal of gluttony has changed hands. If that is the case they'll attack him as an enemy. If they do know, they'll still attack us because they should know that we are friends with the marines."

[Blackstone Dresden]

"The Commander's girlfriend was changed into Lilithmon, but she's still the same person at her core. That's exactly how D'Arcmon sees me, as a monster changed into a DigiMemory carrier, but still a monster at my core." Karatenmon sighed "Seriously Nohemon, shut up." He then regarded Sam with a cautious nod "That would work, if Beelzemon's stronger than every single member of the Royal Knights' army. Combined." He shook his head "But Valdurmon's our primary source of transportation, how are we gonna get out of there if something goes wrong and he gets... 'rebooted'?"

 

Kapurimon let out an annoyed huff from Sam's right shoulder and bounced a couple miles into the air "Kapwimon! He shouted, unable to say his name correctly or the word Digivolve. He was encased in a ball of light that rapidly expanded, reveling a giant fully armored Blimpmon in Kapurimon's place.

"That was a neat trick little... I mean big fella." Nohemon said looking up at the floating digimon, he looked at Karatenmon. "Believe me. Being rebooted will be the least of my worries if I don't get out." Sam pointed his digivice at Nohemon who slide digivolved into Boogeymon and then warped into Beelzemon.

"Ok then. I suggest we move as quickly as possible." Yasyamon interupted.

"Yeh we have no idea what their crimes and punishments will be." He put his digivice into his pocket and whispered, "Or have been."

[Blackstone Dresden]

Blimpmon let out two large puffs of smoke.

 

"Near as I can figure, that means thank you." Karatenmon said, smiling despite himself at the former puffball "Kapurimon is my disciple. Despite his age, he has an interesting feature, he can Digivolve into three different Digimon. And no, none of them are Bird Digimon"

 

The Gargoylemon flew forward, wings shimmering slightly as he charged up his attack "Don't try anything funny, traitor, I'll fall you where you stand."

[The Warden]

Lucemon smiled unusually warmly. 'I wouldn't dream of such a thing, I am merely making an example' he replied, looking at the Gargoylemon. He looked into what could be the creatures eyes, he was looking for something, some little glimmer of darkness to raise the beast as a Devidramon again. Some inhibition or lack of trust to pry into. Lucemon smirked as he found it, a special loved one that claimed another. 'Heartbreak hurts doesn't it? Such a thing the failed god can't even heal, but drowning the sorrow in power can heal the break. Lose yourself to the power, and in time, you will find another' he said in a dark tone only he and the Gargoylemon seemed to hear.

[Blackstone Dresden]

Gargoylemon crossed his left arm over his chest, the X on it turning black "Many a mon has had his heart crushed by an Angewomon. Emperor God Huanglongmon only allows it to happen because He sees in His infinite wisdom that it will only help is grow. Just as training our bodies to Digivolve to the next level causes us physical pain, training our DigiCores to maturity must always cause emotional pain. It is part of the cycle that has been with us since Yggdrasil and ENIAC created the twin programs that became NEO, who in turn became all Digimon, and the Digital World itself. No one has the right to do away with that cycle, or do you challenge the First Gods will?"

[The Warden]

'The will of the failed god is gone, many are truly seeing him for what he is, a failure. Following the true path can save you, under the will of the dark god, all are equal, there is no longer a reason to fight, submit to the darkness in your heart. For there are those who will appreciate your talents, there are those who will appreciate your power. There are those, who will appreciate your love' Lucemon continued, obviously pressing the gargoyle's mind.

[Ace Daimon]

((Several hours later...))

 

Alphamon/General Andrews had decided on a verdict.

"Commander, you have a choice:"

"You may either be stripped of your rank, along with every single member of your unit, and transferred to the worst possible front line position I can find, where you will assuredly be killed..."

"...or you may transfer Lieutenant Bines into our care, allowing us to treat her of her illness."

The Digi-Marines started to talk amongst themselves.

"You have 5 minutes."

[Premier Alexander Romanov]

Daniel stepped forward.

"I don't need your 5 minutes! I already have my response!"

Daniel stuck out both of his middle fingers at his father.

Suddenly, the Deafening Silence burst through the glass roof and sent several ropes down, allowing the Digi-Marines to escape.

"See you around, Dad!" Daniel cried out as the Silence lifted off, carrying all of the Digi-Merines, including their allies, with them.

BanchoLeomon couldn't help but laugh as the Digi-Marines were raised out of the building by the Silence. He then stopped abruptly and turned to face Daniel "Uh, Commander, how in the Hell did Admiral Valkyrimon and Captain D'Arcmon escape?" The Beast Man asked "Last time they got locked up with the rest of us..." He looked up and placed one hand on his Dan Kon sword, just in case.

[Premier Alexander Romanov]

((She's on there, along with her patient, who is almost fully recovered.))

 

"Valkyrimon" and "d'Arcmon" pulled off their masks to reveal Alice and Garrett.

"You didn't notice the fact that my Team Leaders were gone? I swapped these two and hid the Captain and Admiral in the ship. Then, once we left, the real Valkyrimon and d'Arcmon restarted the ship, cloaked it, and replaced it with a hologram. My middle fingers were the signal to extract us."

Daniel sighed as the Silence cloaked, then headed for cloud cover.

"You do realize that we are now public enemies of the Alliance, right?"

[Blackstone Dresden]

((Wait, she got another patient? Because Caleb's incurable and terminal))

 

"Last time around, a few of you were publicly executed by the Alliance. I think that they'd find this preferable, if they knew what happened." BanchoLeomon said, sheathing Dan Kon and stepping onto the deck "Well, now what?" He asked "If memory serves, Lucemon's about to either corrupt or slaughter the whole of Celestus"

 

Darkdramon, meanwhile, was with Celeste, watching as Caleb slowly began to pixelate, despite the nurse's repeated efforts to counteract his illness. Of course, Darkdramon knew exactly what was happening, and that the human was not long for this world. He sighed and slammed his fist into the table, denting it.

((Oh. Because Celeste should've cured him a page or so ago.))

 

But, as this was going on, Kayla walked in.

"Umm...hi, Celeste..."

Celeste could see that the hybrid was fidgeting, and eyeing the pixelating body rather...hungrily.

"Aww, hell no! You are not laying a finger on my patient!"

"But he's so...JUICY!!!"

"Kayla, you need to get a hold of yourself. You're talking about biting a teminally-ill Tamer, not a Virus Digimon. I have no idea what will happen of you sink your teeth into him!"

"Kayla, if you take one more step, I'll run you through with my sword." Darkdramon said quietly, raising his sword directly at Kayla's chest "Back away." He warned "Just back away and I won't be forced to murder you where you stand." He paused and, seeing Kayla frozen by terror, raised his voice "Get the @#$% away, Lilithmon!!"
