Yasyamon put up his swords and Impmon flamed his hands ready.

Sam stepped forward in front of his digimon. "We aren't going anywhere, not until you give us a reason." He gestured to his two digimon who both stood calmer for it.

Yaysamon bent down next to Sam, "Are you sure about this, if they decide they dont like us. I mean they're all ultimates."

[Hydra of Ages]

"Ah." Seri smirked a little.

"So I know we have at least one Digimemory covered for us. Even Huanglongmon himself couldn't compete with Leviamon's power in his home domain, deep in the Oceans. So that's pleasant." she said, rubbing Crabmon's shell a little with a finger. The crustacean seemed to crackle a little in pleasure.

She giggled a little, glancing between the sleeping Liya and Lilamon. "So, Minervamon gets to have you two around her all the time? Lucky."

[Blackstone Dresden]

Leomon growled at the Knightmon, Digivolved into GrapLeomon, and tossed Sam, Yasyamon, Impmon, and, with a bit more force than needed, Kayla, over to Tankdramon, who had somehow managed to make the wall simply disappear. He growled again, paused, and then added Celeste and MarineAngemon to the group "Beelzemon, either go to your Blast Mode or pray your Huanglongmon given Mega has wings and carry your two accomplices with you. Lilithmon, I know for a fact you can fly. Celeste, MarineAngemon, don't let go of Tankdramon." And with that, he evolved into SaberLeomon and growled at the group arresting the DigiMarines "Really bad day to piss me off." He warned, fangs and claws shimmering.

 

"Hardly, she'd rather have Liya all to herself than share with me." Lilamon said with a pout.

 

"Lilac, shut up." Minervamon said, "I was here first and you know it."

 

"Well I'm the successor to the Demon Lady of Lust."

 

"I'm the Goddess of Wisdom."

 

Lilamon opened her mouth and then promptly fell silent.

Sam and Impmon managed to roll out of the air as they landed, Yasyamon landed on his feet. Sam and Yasyamon were away as soon as they had gotten their barings, but Impmon faltered. He stared back at SaberLeomon, ...He saved us. Maybe he's not as hard headed as I thought.

Sam had realised that Impmon hadn't followed them and slowed, turning his head. "Impmon don't just stand there! Come on!" He shouted to his partner.

Impmon turned to see Sam and Yasyamon waiting. When he looked once more at SaberLeomon he saw a number of Knightmon coming towards him. I could start to like that cat. The imp digimon nodded his acknowledgement and ran towards his friends.

"Impmon warp digivolve to... Valdurmon!" The massive bird flew over his partner and Yasyamon who grabbed the boy and jumped onto Valdurmon's back. "That is one complicated kitty."

[Premier Alexander Romanov]

"SaberLeomon, this is a bad idea!" Kayla protested.

"You don't know what Alphamon is like! If you upset him, he will destroy you! And he has the entire High Command and the Royal Knights under his thumb!"

Daniel looked at the Angewomon.

"Please forgive him. He doesn't know what's going on."

"Tell that to the War Crimes Tribunal."

[Blackstone Dresden]

SaberLeomon roared at Kayla "Get out of my face Lilithmon." He growled, stalking closer to the Knightmon "I know exactly what's going on. I've been here before, remember? The only problem is that if you go the War Crimes Tribunal, everyone in this room is going to die. I'm gonna kill every single one of you pathetic Knightmon, Angewomon's going to kill me, and then the Demon Lords are going to wipe out the DigiMarines. Now, go quietly, or force me to prove my prediction." He said, fangs barred "And don't think that my fangs can't bite through your steel."

 

Tankdramon growled and plopped Kayla on his back, with Celeste in his arms and MarineAngemon nestled in next to her. He then accelerated and leaped into the air, evolving into Darkdramon sans sword "Kayla, believe it or not, SaberLeomon and I know exactly what will happen when he upsets Alphamon. Last time, it cost Examon and Gallantmon their lives. This time, he's trying to avoid that by having himself take all the blame, so only he dies."

[Premier Alexander Romanov]

"Forgive me, ma'am, but I must consolt with my...colleague. Just give me a few minutes alone with him."

"Whatever. Just FYI: if I'm blamed, I'm blaming you."

Daniel walked over to SaberLeomon.

"We need to talk."

[Blackstone Dresden]

"No. I need to talk, you need to shut up and go along with it." SaberLeomon snarled, Slide Evolving to BanchoLeomon "If you go with them, you're going to have a falling out with {spoiler omitted} which will only end up with you getting your ass kicked and the DigiMarines sent back to your world. Then, Daemon's gonna instigate his bloody coup de tat and Celestus will die, to be eaten by Leviamon. After that, all non-DigiMarines will slowly be picked off while Ogudomon turns all of Suzaku into a Digital Gate and sends his forces into the human world, where the DigiMarines will make their last stand. You, Daemon, Belphemon, and I will get isolated from the rest of the group. You'll kill Belphemon while Daemon brutally assaults Caleb, Tankdramon, and I, catching him by surprise and ordering us to shoot through you both. Now, whether you honestly believed that you would be reborn, or if you were making a heroic sacrifice, I don't know, but I shot you, and Justin, and Daemon, and it's haunted my dreams ever since. Now, that's what you were going to do.What you ARE going to do is tell Angewomon that I have been manipulating you, that I am the one that's behind every single one of your so-called crimes."

Seri chuckled. "Well, you're both hot. That's got to count for something, right?" she said with a giggle, brushing a lock away from her face. She glanced up at the rapidly clearing sky, though the cloud providing shade to them still existed, the sunlight illuminating its silver lining. Crabmon clicked his claws, legs twitching a little. She smirked a little.

"Personally, I like sharing. Probably has something to do with being sealed with Envy, I suppose."

Mistymon blinked at Craniamon's sudden change of heart, sighed and shrugged. "Very well then." he said with a hint of a smirk, bearing both of his blades and pointing them at Omnimon.

 

"Omnimon. Your judgment is nigh." he said, crossing both the blades as he glowed slightly blue, charging with a spell.

[Premier Alexander Romanov]

"Actually, I was simply going to-"

"Wait. What?"

Daniel tried to understand all of that.

"I'm going to do WHAT?!?"

[The Warden]

Lucemon and Velgemon were still waiting, but the vulture seemed to have surpassed his limits on that. 'I tire of waiting, let us destroy the city and claim what we want' he snarled. 'Then go, I'm not stopping you' Lucemon replied. A low gutteral laugh issued from Velgemon as he took off, leaing Lucemon to float in the air. 'Curious the corrupted spirits, I wonder how it would amplify my own dark power. Maybe they could be used to unseal by final evolution' the angel considered. 'Zona Deleter' Velgemon roared, skeatching a circle easily fifty metres in diametre. He finished it and rose into the sky as everything caught in the blast was being destroyed.

Valdurmon had flown far enough so that they Knightmon couldn't see them, but Yasyamon had eyes capable of seeing that far. "That is getting strange, it's a pity I cant lip read." The puppet digimon sat cross legged next to Sam. The trio heard an explosion to the east. Sam and Yasyamon jumped up and ran to Valdurmon's head, he had banked so that he was now facing towards the east. They saw the destruction caused by a powerful attack.

"Can you see what it is Yasyamon?" Sam asked.

"Yes, but I've never seen a digimon like it." He replied straining to see what it was.

"Its Velgemon." The booming voice of Valdurmon said to Sam and Yasyamon.

"The beast of corruption? Then that means Ogudomon found a new host for that parasitic creature. Valdurmon sped up to stop the dark bird.

[The Warden]

Velgemon admired his dark handiwork, but he felt something. A grin grew upon the beast's face as he looked in the distance to see Valduramon approaching. 'Well, if it isn't my old pet and partner, Sam. Lovely to see you again' the beast stated. 'Oh, and it seems your lovely partner has subjected himself to the will of Huanlongmon. How pitiful to see the mighty demon lord of gluttony to have fallen so far' he added.

Valdurmon started to circle the bird. Sam had pulled out his digivice ready and Yasyamon had his swords in crossed defensivley.

"I was never your pet, nor your partner. The spirit of corruption tried to fuse itself to me, that is all. And just so you know, me and Beelzemon got some upgrades since last time." Sam smiled, "You can see my partners here, but you maybe surprised with mine." Sammy pooled his digisoul around his hands, one of them was light blue, the other a deep purple. "Oh, I'm sorry. how rude of me. Allow me to introduce my friend here. His names Yasyamon and he doesnt like pain to be caused to innocent digimon."

Sam flung out a bolt of digisoul form his right hand and a platform of solid purple energy formed before the human. He did the same with his left hand creating a stand for Yasyamon and allowing Valdurmon to fly freely.

[The Warden]

'You cannot deny that Sam. I was a part of you, as I still am now. And pleased to meet you Yasyamon, your pain shall be short and succint' Velgemon stated. 'But you overestimate your chances, considering the human I am using has a partner of his own' Velgemon boasted. 'Indeed so' Lucemon said from behind the great bird. 'Beelzemon, I am dissapointed in you, you have given up so much for the failed god, now, by edict, I will destroy you in the name of the dark god' he declared, giving a venomous look at Varodurumon.

[Proto]

Meanwhile the now power-down Lee and Stingmon managed to muster enough power to fly to a place nearby the shore, but avoiding the others. "Man, Huanglongmon's not gonna be happy when he sees the Light Warrior now" said Lee, drenched a good amount with his own sweat as Stingmon transformed back into Wormmon and fell onto the ground, battle worn and quickly fell asleep several minutes after.

 

Meanwhile Belphemon was still laying low in Daemon's place, fooling around with his demonic companions in his Sleep Mode.

 

And Craniamon was quite confused too of his judgement, but he decided, Huanglongmon's words first even if he had to slay his companion to achieve his trust. He drew his large spear and pointed it at Omnimon menacingly, trying not to think of Imperialdramon, he said "What has inspired you to become like this, Omnimon."

Varodurumon flew in a wide arc so that he covered Sam and Yasyamon's back adn they covered his.

"No, I don't think you were or are. You haven't noticed that my hands are dual coloured." Sam chuckled at this. "Or how I can have two digimon with only one digivice. You know what, I think that you have gotten dumber." Yasyamon shifted in place.

"Now now Sam, there isn't any reason to insult the big bird. Even if he is uglier than the backside of a Monochromon."

 

Varodurumon faced Lucemon, "Hello brother," The gigantic brid said, "It seems that you still have a wicked streak. I mean destroying your own kind, despicable."

[The Warden]

Velgemon laughed again. 'Petty insults get you nowhere, you are still nothing but a child. Never fear though, you will be destroyed now, so you don't have to worry about living, anymore' the bird mocked. 'You destroy me? That is most laughable Beelzemon, you couldn't even defeat Belphemon in Sleep Mode, more to the point how do you hope to triumph over me?' Lucemon inquired.

[Blackstone Dresden]

"Ha, do you really know so little about me? I hate sharing, though being shared is fun." She added with a seductive wink "But, of course since someone here has flowers for over half of her body..." She cast a glance at Lilamon, then back at Seri "She's not a lot of fun."

 

"Do I need to say it slower?" BanchoLeomon asked with an annoyed grunt "You're going to singlehandedly allow the Demon Lords to take over both worlds if you do this, and cause untold misery and suffering and probably a fair dose of agony too."

 

Omnimon grinned and Slide Evolved into DarkOmnimon, absorbing the data of both Imperialdramon and Tara as he did so "The Dark God Ogudomon has snown me that sometimes the pathway to light takes us through the darkest shadows." He said, raising the Garuru Cannon and firing off short, measured rounds at Mistymon, completely ignoring Craniamon. "Brother, Ogudomon is halfway free, and I have done naught to help him. What shall become of you when he walks the world once more? Shall you die before his fury, or will you live and fulfill your duties as a Royal Knight, your duty to serve the God of the Digital World. Your duty to Ogudomon."

[Premier Alexander Romanov]

"No! I meant what you want me to do! I'm not going to blame you as the source of my defection! You may be a bit of an a**hole, but you, Tankdramon, and Caleb are my allies, and I will not abandon you!"

[//Zeromaru//]

"I'm not quite Beelzemon in this mode you foolish little digimon," Varodurumon boomed, he smirked, "You think that Demon Lords are all powerful? You should see the power I now hold in my wings. A power as old as the digital world itself."

 

"You're right Velgemon. Although I have the power of a true Yasyamon, I am not an armour digivolution. Therefore I am young." He put down his swords and stretched his arms around, "But you do realise that you are not just Velgemon? You are a human inside of a digimon's body."

"Ok Yasyamon. Time to digivolve." Sams digivice glowed.

"Yasyamon digivolve to... Mammothmon!" Sam made the platform grow beneath the ancient beast digimon. it took his energy, but he hadn't used that much since his fusion.

[Blackstone Dresden]

"My life's not worth the Hell that I've seen for the past five years..." BanchoLeomon said, his voice changing, the near homicidal rage that had been brewing in him since he returned from Lilithmon's domain had replaced itself with sorrow and remorse. "Daniel, please... Do it so Kayla won't have to lose the only person that seemed to keep Lilithmon in check, do it so Justin won't have to spend the rest of eternity feeling the ghost of his partner in his heart. Caleb, Tankdramon, and I would gladly give all our lives to end the war, and, in a way, we already have."

 

Darkdramon circled around the two other Mega Digimon, still waiting for Kayla and Celeste to come back to their senses. "Valdurmon," He shouted down, his voice hard and rough and hateful, but less so than BanchoLeomon's, "Think you can carry these three?" He asked, nodding to the two girls and MarineAngemon.

[Premier Alexander Romanov]

"As I was saying before, I have a plan..."

Daniel leaned in close and whispered into SaberLeomon's ear.

"Hurry up! We don't have all day!" Angewomon called out.

"Just another minute!" Daniel replied before finishing the plan.

Valdurmon heard the request, but kept his eyes held onto Lucemon. "Sorry I'm a little busy quite now. You should get out of here or put them down someplace safe, this could get messy."

Sam thought about everyone the spirit of corruption had hurt, including himself. Ha. If it weren't for him then I wouldn't have gotten this far. Sammy wouldn't have been created and we wouldn't have been fused together, I wouldn't be this powerful and Impmon wouldn't be free from Ogudomon now.

"You know I should thank you really. You're going to be your own downfall."

[Hydra of Ages]

Mistymon watched Omnimon unshakably, standing resolute in the thin air.

"My loyalties are, first and foremost, To Alphamon, the patriarch of our Order, and the Voice of Yggdrasil should He deign to speak. Secondly they lie with Huanglongmon, whom Alphamon designated as aligned towards our cause. And finally, they lie with our fellow kin. Unless Alphamon or Yggdrasil themselves descends to order me elsewise, my loyalty shall never lie with Ogudomon, regardless of his strength. Justice does not change based on the shifts of the Scale of Power."

"Hmm..." Seri examined Lilamon thoughtfully. "I see what you mean. Though I could still think of a couple of things I could do..." she said with a smirk, twirling a lock of hair. "Besides, it's always fun to try something different..."
