Lucemon's image in the pool shimmered, but stabilized. 'I was in pursuit of Imperialdramon, but unfortunately lost track of him. I then picked up the power of the Seal of Lust, thought faint, I could feel it onboard one of the failed God's airship; knowing that Lilithmon is deceased, I believed that they had her digi-egg. Their course was set to Azulongmon's territory, however, they had no need to go there. I assumed they were coming to Celestus to purifiy her. I and my battery warped here before them to prevent that from happening. As for the holy digi-memory, I'm sure I could force an emergency activation' he reported, ending with an evil grin.

[Proto]

Craniamon turned to the Empty Seat leader and became slightly confused. Then after a few minutes or so Craniamon leveled his blade nearby the head of Imperialdramon with a tinge of anger in his speech. "It makes perfect sense, Imperialdramon and LordKnightmon would never attempt to try to pick a fight with me! The most competent for the job!" He said as his purple orb transformed into a large shield that he place onto his unarmed hand. "The Omni Shield and Claiomh Solias demand blood, I shall spill it. After all its not as if justice would go agianst its successor." The knight said as he made a jab at the dragon with his spear.

[Hydra of Ages]

Mistymon cursed silently to himself. "Two Royal Knights verses one and a half. I'm not liking our odds." he admitted. He glared up at Omnimon. "How would you betray our cause? Power, that is the reason. You are the strongest of the Royal Knights not held down by a prerogative. Alphamon himself, has the Alpha-Gain-Force, the ultimate power weakened by the ultimate drawback. He is forced to wander, forever, humbly, through space and time, never able to use his powers for what HE wants. You have made no such sacrifices. Your power is without restraint. Any power unchecked by responsibility and tempered by weakness leads to corruption, Omnimon, which is why I was chosen as the Compass from which the forces of Right and Wrong will be decided. I am not the strongest of the Royal Knights, but I am the most clear-seeing."

 

He glanced over at Craniamon and scoffed slightly. "Craniamon, I am disgusted. Choose your side. Side with Alphamon, our patriarch and the noblest of us all, who stands for the forces of good and justice, whom gives us Faith in our path and our strength. Have faith in that he gave me the duties to identify who is corrupted and who is not, and stand against Omnimon, who I identify as such. Or side with Omnimon against our patriarch, and choose power over the traditions and morals of our ancient order. Your attribute is Loyalty, I believe, is it not? Show your true loyalty, Craniamon. To Alphamon, who is everything the Royal Knights stand for, or with Omnimon, who stands only for his own corrupted power. You know this as well as I do. Huanglongmon is not infallible, but he is less so than Omnimon is. And who is it that Huanglongmon told you to trust?"

 

The mage, meanwhile, drew both of his swords and leapt off into the air, floating in place. He looked stern and regal, his purple cape flapping slightly in the wind. The symbol of Witchelny lit up brightly on the back of his cloak.

Seri glanced over at the thrashing Sea Serpant.

"I think he's a little occupied now, Minerva." she said with a hint of apology in her voice.

"Don't take it to heart, he won't listen to me while in Blood-frenzy either."

 

She glanced over and appreciated the reclining Liya. "She's human?" She asked with a twinge of interest, looking over the human's more modest, but still notable, features.

[Blackstone Dresden]

"Your realize just how easy it is to corrupt and thus ruin the Holy DigiMemory?" Max asked "And, even when you do force it to activate, you're too far gone to touch it, so Duke would have to be the one to retrieve it, thus taking him out of the fight completely. I'll send Leviamon, Minervamon, and Lotusmon to retrieve it. Keep as low a profile as possible until they get there." He smirked when he said the last sentence "Unless you already did something reckless like destroying half the city, in which case start preaching to the survivors. Try and corrupt the Angemon, Piddomon, Turuiemon, Gargoylemon, Gatomon, Angewomon, and MagnaAngemon, kill the rest."

 

((I think I got everyone... Angemon/Piddomon->Devimon, Turuiemon->Wendigomon, Gargoylemon->Devidramon, Gatomon->BlackGatomon, Angewomon->LadyDevimon, MagnaAngemon->Murmuxmon... Did I miss someone? And by "the rest" I pretty much meant D'Arcmon since she's the only 'incorruptible' Angel Digimon))

 

Imperialdramon raised the Splendor Blade and placed the flat of the blade against the spear "If you choose to fight me, Craniamon, I will not hold back. I will come at you with all the power rightfully bestowed upon me by Huanglongmon, and I will strike you down. From this day forward, by the authority granted unto me by Emperor God Huanglongmon himself as the Original Royal Knight, I am barring you from Digivolving to your Royal Knight form." With that, he flicked the Claimoh Solais away from his own neck and leveled the Positron Laser at Craniamon, charging a shot.

 

"Huanglongmon clearly decreed the chain of command, Mistymon. In Alphamon's near-eternal absence, I am to be your leader, and, shall I fall in battle, LordKnightmon shall take up the burden. I see no LordKnightmon, only a pathetic Ultimate that has been blinded by the cursed Dark God Ogudomon! Craniamon, close your mind to his words and focus on mine, for I shall lead you away from corruption, just as I have done all these centuries." Omnimon fired a small barrage from his Garuru Cannon at Mistymon "He dares to oppose us because he knows I speak the truth. Had he truly been corrupted by Ogudomon, he would show us his true form instead of hiding in shame as a magician, as a trickster, even his cowardice reveals his true nature!"

 

((I swear, I think I'm channeling Obi-Wan Kenobi's evil twin for Omnimon's dialogue))

 

"She's my[/i] human." Minervamon corrected, closing her eyes "Floramon over there is just the backup plan, for when she needed to invade the DigiMarines' fleet. Which she did, by the way, and managed to give us a DigiMemory and Lilithmon's pet. Though we lost the latter an hour ago. Nice job breaking it, Liya."

 

"Oh bite me."

 

"You'd enjoy that, wouldn't you?"

 

"So would you."

[The Warden]

Lucemon smirked. 'No, I would not go that far, unfortunately. I had planned to remain on the low until the digimarines arrived, therein I can retrieve Lilithmon's egg and then destroy them. Also, I would like to correct you. My rookie stage can easily claim the holy digi-memory' Lucemon replied. 'Any survivers I shall deal with once my task has been completed. Lucemon out' he added the viewing portal closed. 'So, we wait for a flying rust bucket' Velgemon growled. 'Precisely, I hate waiting, but the rewards will be all the sweeter when they're ambushed' Lucemon replied. 'Do you honestly care about Lilithmon?' Velgemon inquired. 'She is one of my subordinates, I am obligated' Lucemon answered.

[Proto]

Craniamon was brought to his knees, clutching his own head in total frustration and confusion. "Urgh! Huanglongmon told that Imperialdramon was the one too trust indeed, yet he acts so ruthless and insulting to me I have no clue! Omnimon is my official leader that even Alphamon has called as his assistant but are his words truely better then the ones of the Great Dragon?" Craniamon continued smashing the floor with frustration, what was he supposed to do? The Royal Knights or the Great Dragon? He then toke one long look at Claimoh Solias he understood what he must do. "My weapon is double-edged for a reason, I must find justice in my own way, of how to handle pain!" He bellowed as both of the edges of the spear glowed, one pointing at Omnimon, the other at Imperialdramon. "Now! Share the Pain! Judgement Pierce!" The knight bellowed as the spear split into two powerful rays of energy, one at Omnimon, another at Imperialdramon.

[Blackstone Dresden]

Omnimon deflected the shot with a burst of light from his Garuru Cannon, redirecting it at Imperialdramon, who had done the same with his Positron Laser, but was unable to reflect both Judgment Pierces and the Garuru Cannon and was sent tumbling for at least one hundred meters "There, fate decrees that I am the one you are to believe, because, if I were truly corrupted, would fate not have allowed Imperialdramon to defeat me? Now, would you be so kind as to purify Mistymon, so that we may one day have LordKnightmon back, while I allow Imperialdramon the same honor?" He turned at walked towards the downed knight "In remembrance of your human partners, Mistymon... Imperialdramon... I offer you a chance at new life... Brothers, I forgive you." He slowly, solemnly, raised his Grey Sword "May you be free from the dark powers of the vile beast Ogudomon in your next incarnation."

[Hydra of Ages]

Mistymon had avoided the barrage of Garuru Cannon attacks fairly easily before, his smaller size and nimble form allowing him to weave back and forth between the attacks. He growled to himself, stopping himself from face-palming. "Craniamon..." he groaned, trying to figure how the Knight of Loyalty, the Trusted One, could be so Yggdrasil-damned stupid.

 

He glanced over at the Grey Sword and licked his lips, running through the expansive list of spells in his mind. Could one of them stop the blade of Omnimon?

 

None that he could recall that didn't take any preparation before hand... This was bad. He hoped Imerialdramon had something up his sleeve as well, as he glanced hesitantly over at Craniamon.

Seri giggled a bit. "Oh, I see. A Digimemory all by yourself? That's rather impressive. Did Ogudomon bother to reward you?" she said passively, still acutely aware of her own Envy symbol currently glowing brightly for whichever reason, she figured. WaruSeadramon was starting to calm down now; whether it was because he had eaten what he wanted, or just lost sight of them, she couldn't tell.

[Premier Alexander Romanov]

The Deafening Silence finally started it's final approach on Celestus's airdocks. By now, Caleb has mostly pixelated.

"Alright, listen up. We go in, get Caleb feeling better, make our case with the Royal Knights, then leave. And we will do all of this as quickly as possible. Got it?"

"SIR, YES SIR!!!"

"Celeste, Garrett, Alice: You take Caleb to the medical facilities. Ian, Josh, Kristen: You stay behind and hold down the fort. Kayla, Sammy, Impmon, Sealsdramon, Riallmon: You're with me and Justin. We have to give back Gallantmon's egg."

[Blackstone Dresden]

"Commander, we would like to be part of the group that takes Caleb back." Sealsdramon stated "Please, he's our partner and he only got this way after the three of us merged into Chaosmon, so we probably have whatever it is that he has." The Dramon knew very well that there was no way they could possibly suffer from the same condition as their partner, but they had done enough lying over the past few years to the point where no one could possibly tell if he was telling the truth.

 

"Besides" Raiamon growled, "Leaving the two of us alone with a Demon Lady and an ex-Demon Lord. That could be construed as attempted murder in some place."

 

Caleb's infection had now pixelated his entire left side.

 

"Daniel, what about us?" Jack asked, Temblor and Ashu on either side of him. They were battered and bruised, but less so than Raiamon and Sealsdramon "You're meeting the Royal Knights, they are a Royal Knight, I think we need to come along."

 

"He's rewarding Floramon." Liya said with a mildly annoyed glance at her second partner "He's turning her into Lilithmon's stand in, that's why her Rookie form looks more.... mature... if you know what I mean, and why she's not just a blank slate anymore."

 

"Cravvy..." Minerva said again "Now would you mind providing me with some shade?"

[ZhaneX]

Vincent woke up to find himself being dragged along the floor to his room by BlackGuilmon, who had his teeth around the back of Vincent's shirt collar.

"Ah-my head...what happened?" Vincent said slowly, still not totally awake.

"Huh, you're up." BlackGuilmon said, opening his mouth and releasing Vincent, who fell to the ground, getting up a couple seconds later, "Ogudomon told us to go get some rest...nothing for us to do apparently..."

"Well, that makes me feel more than a bit unwanted...first he tries to kill me, then he tells me to go take a nap..."

"Ya well, I'm going to take him up on that offer..."

BlackGuilmon turned and walked into his own room, though not before Vincent noticed a neon-bright symbol glowing on his right shoulder, the Symbol of Greed.

"Guess it did happen..." Vincent said with a shrug before turning and entering his own room, quickly flopping onto his bed.

[//Zeromaru//]

Beelzemon had failed to find BanchoLeomon. So the formerly evil digimon had gone back to Sam and Yasyamon, dedigvolving in the process. He was standing by his friends getting his first new 'orders'.

"Actually I'm just Sam," the human explained, "Sammy is no longer around." He sounded sad even though his digi-copy had been reformatted and forcibally biomerged into him.

 

Impmon thought about it, Celestus was the home of the angels, even in his rookie form he had an imp for his base. "So, I'm going to be able to test out my new digivolutions."

 

Yasyamon was getting frustrated, he had been left out of the line up. "Well what am I supposed to do? Just sit on the ship and wait?"

[Hydra of Ages]

Seri glanced up at a growing cloud above them, which blotted out most of the sun. It rumbled ominously, but didn't pour rain, which was odd considering the rest of the skies not covered by WaruSeadramon's Maelstrom. That shadow it cast percisely covered Minervamon, though the border also mostly put the other two females in the shade.

 

Seri shrugged a bit. "Well, at least he kinda listened." she said with a hint of a smirk. She eyed Floramon, who had mostly escaped the cloud's shade by being closer to the shore. She looked over the plant-digimon's body with a hint of appreciation and nodded. "Yeah, she is...somewhat... different than the average Floramon." she admitted with the vaguest hint of a lecherous blush, before wiggling her toes in the sand a little. She looked back over to Liya and raised an eyebrow. "Is that just Digisoul?" she inquired, tapping her top garment slightly.

[Blackstone Dresden]

"Yes, yes it is." Liya said "Now would you stop poking it?" She inquired "I don't have a lot left after Floramon woke up and decided to keep us both in Rosemon form, which drained both my DigiSoul and my concentration... Floramon don't you dare..."

 

"Floramon Warp Digivolve to! Lilamon." The plant Digimon said, Digivolving to her Ultimate stage for the first time, and, not coincidentally, draining the last of Liya's DigiSoul.

 

The human let out a shocked yelp and covered herself with her hands "Minerva, I need your skirt and top. Then, please kill Lilamon for me."

 

Minerva couldn't stop laughing, even while passing Liya half her clothes "Sorry, that's just too funny." She said as her massive sword appeared between Liya and Seri, allowing the former some semblance of privacy while she changed.

 

Lilamon, meanwhile, laid back on the shore "Oh, by the way, Ogudomon called. He wants us in Celestus as soon as possible." She said with a yawn.

[Hydra of Ages]

Seri giggled loudly at the slight mayhem caused by the digivolving, smirking and mentally documenting the sight of the briefly unclothed Liya. She poked the sword once or twice experimentally, and shrugged with a hint of disappointment when it became apparent it wouldn't fall down.

 

She redirect her attentions to the female plant digimon, raising an eyebrow. "Celestus? Why does he want us there?" she said with a hint of curiosity. "Did the Holy Digimemory awaken? Hmm..." she thought to herself. "Does Celestus even have any water in it? I've never been. No point, since pretty much everyone there can sense Cravvy's identity even as a Rookie. Speaking of which..."

 

She placed her arms on the ground as a small gray creature scuttled along the sand, giggled when it climbed up her left arm and settled into her hair, before glowing with the sigil of Envy.

 

"I think he got a little tired. Or bored once the blood rage wore off." she said with a smirk.

[Blackstone Dresden]

"The DigiMarines are there, so we have to go there since Barbamon, Arkadimon, and their human are off doing something, Megidramon and Vincent are sleeping, Lucemon and Duke are waiting for us there, Lilithmon's dead, Beelzemon and Sam are traitorous bastards, and Belphemon and Daemon went into hiding after failing to kill Beelzemon." She counted on her petals "Yeah I think that's about everyone, so we're the only people left." Lilamon looked at Crabmon "I think he's tall enough to reach Celestus from Seiryuu, so that shouldn't be a problem." She yawned and dug her roots into the ground "Anyway, to get from Byakko to Seiryuu then Celestus should take the DigiMarines a few hours, so I figure we have time."

 

Minerva's sword sank into the ground, revealing Liya wearing a snakeskin bikini top and Minerva's skirt, turned to leave her leg bare but covering pretty much everything else. She was also fast asleep, exhausted from having her DigiSoul completely drained and from spending most of the past two days as a Mega. "Lilac, you completely exhausted her! That's my job!." The goddess said playfully.

[Premier Alexander Romanov]

"Sorry, but no. Your friend Riallmon attacked my lieutenant and our latest ally. That's why you're sticking with them. If you can't learn to get along, I don't know what I'll do!"

"Honestly! Kayla only resorted to hostilies after you dealt a blow on her first! She tried to negotiate, and even healed you, Riallmon! And you repay her by throwing her halfway across the cargo hold!"

"And Jack, I was originally intending on you staying on the ship, but you're part of my group. I'm gonna need all the help I can get facing the Royal Knights..."

[Blackstone Dresden]

"I'd rather die than have that lying, worthless, conniving b@#$% Lilithmon lay a finger on me. Huanglongmon only knows what kind of virus she infected me with. For all I know, SHE'S the one that killed Caleb." As he was speaking, Raiamon Slide Evolved into Leomon and grasped the handled of his Shishiou-maru "Commander, how can you possibly trust her? She's quite obviously using you." He paused, stalked up to the leader of the DigiMarines like the hunter he was, and whispered "Again." Never once taking his hand off his sword, or his eyes off Lilithmon.

 

Jack nodded and looked over at Ashu and Temblor, the former talking to SnowAgumon and getting acquainted with the white dinosaur Digimon, and the latter standing in front of Gallantmon's DigiEgg, blocking it from view.

 

"Sir..." The green dragon said, his voice hesitant "I think we're going to have a bit of a problem getting Sir Gallantmon's egg to Celestus..." He took a few steps away and to the side of the capsule holding Gallantmon's egg. The egg had completely shattered and Gigimon was standing in the rubble, blowing bubbles against the wall of the tube and laughing when the popped. "Azulongmon..."

[Premier Alexander Romanov]

"I don't care if she plans on eating me for dinner, you don't mess with her!!"

All of the other Digi-Marines stepped back.

"In fact, I'm willing to give you your shot! Lieutenant Bines, front and center!"

Kayla obediently walked to Daniel.

"Sir?"

"Lieutenant, go stand in front of our good friend Leomon, with you hands behind your back."

"Sir?"

"That's an order."

Kayla, hesitating for a second, turned and walked in front of Leomon, stopping just within the Digimon's arm's reach.

"Celeste, stand by in case Kayla needs some medical attention." Daniel whispered to the medic before facing Leomon again.

"Leomon, you may do any non-lethal, non-sexual physical action upon the Lieutenant's person on my mark. Kayla, you are to stand down and not defend yourself."

"Daniel!"

"THAT'S AN ORDER!!!"

"SIR, YES SIR!!!" Kayla replied, tears in her eyes.

Lt. Andrews rubbed the bridge of his nose before he resumed locking eyes with Leomon.

"Mark."

[//Zeromaru//]

"Don't worry Yasyamon," Sam reassured the digimon, "You can come with us."

"Yeh I know. Its just he left me out." Yasyamon smacked his swords together, "I always get left out."

"Sam I don't trust him, not entirley anyway." Impmon told his human partner, he hadn't been paying any attention to his two friends, but instead had been following the actions of BanchoLeomon, "His species by definition, are violent. He would be willing to destroy anything if it got in his way." Impmon clenched his fist squeezing his fingers tight, "Not until he learns the ability to work with others. Excluding Sealsdramon and that Caleb boy."

"Well then perhaps we should do something?" Sam whsipered.

"Just be ready to digivolve me at a moments notice."

[Hydra of Ages]

"Right." Seri said with a nod and hint of a yawn. "I haven't actually done much in getting the digimemories so far, I'm afraid. Turns out being so massive and aquatic-based means you're a bit of a specialized tool. Still, when the water memory awakens, we'll be pretty quick to that one. Or has that one already been taken? I don't recall..." she muttered a little.

[Blackstone Dresden]

Leomon turned around and walked slowly backwards. When he was about a dozen or so inhumanly long paces, he exploded in a blur of fur and steel and, when he stopped not an instant later, the flat of his blade was on Kayla's neck "One shot." He growled, letting pure, animal rage fill him "One f@#$ing shot. If I see you doing anything even remotely suspicious, the last thing you'll ever see is going to be my Shishiou-maru blade shoved through your lying rotten heart." He snarled and let out a huff before turning to Daniel and slamming his fist into his stomach, deliberately missing anything vital and barely not fracturing his ribs "That's for trying my patience, sir." He growled, literally, and stalked back to Sealsdramon, who had his knife in his hand, ready to defend his brother-in-arms in case the DigiMarines decided to start something.

 

"How nice of you, he's still on his feet." The dragon said with a smile

 

"Must be getting rusty." The lion replied, his hand still on his blade, his eyes seemingly locked on everyone in the room at the same instant.

 

((Seriously people, he's not BanchoLeomon, he's Leomon))

 

"Machine, Plant, Dragon, and I believe Darkness are the ones that have awakened." Lilamon said "Not quite sure about the last one though."

[The Warden]

Lucemon smirked as Velgemon beat his wings softly, starting to get annoyed with the weight on his back. 'The warriors of the failed god are almost here, and I can feel the seal of lust. Yes, it is with them, though I feel an odd amount of dark energy, one of hate, anger, and regret' Lucemon calculated slowly. 'Do we kill them?' Velgemon inquired. 'Why not, besides the holy memory, that's the reason we came here' Lucemon replied. Velgemon made a gurgling laugh as he slowly beat his wings, eagerly waiting for the chance to fight.

[Ace Daimon]

Meanwhile, deep within the bowels of Celestus...

"Sir, Commander Andrews has docked with us."

"I see."

"Also, we are detecting dark energy above the city, as well as within Daniel's own group."

"How much?"

"At least 1 Demon Lord above the city, but 2 Demon Lords with Daniel."

"Which ones?"

"The Seal of Pride is above the city, but the Seals of Lust and residual energy from the Seal of Gluttony are with the Commander."

"Alright. Bring the Digi-Marines in."

"Yes sir."

Kayla finally knelt down in shock, tucked into a fetal position,and started sobbing as Celeste ran over to Daniel, who had the wind knocked out of him.

"Well, that didn't go as planned."

As Celeste helped her CO up, several dozen Knightmon marched into the hangar, led by an Angewomon.

"Commander Daniel Andrews?"

"Yeah?"

"You, your party, and everyone aboard this ship is hereby arrested for high treason against the Spectrum Alliance and its High Command."

The Knightmon raised their weapons at the Digi-Marines, who cocked their own rifles.

"WHAT?!?!? ON WHOSE ORDERS?!?!?"

"Alphamon's."

Daniel and the rest of the Digi-Marines fell silent as he extended both of his arms and the Digi-Marines submitted to the Knightmon, who promptly arrested them.
