Impmon had dodged the blindside attacks, and stopped, staring at BantyoLeomon. "You remember what I said about unnecessary." He was about to have a go at the lion when he noticed a bright green glow around him. The seal of gluttony pulsed on the floor. "Now thats just bad timing." Everytime the seal pulsed its glow receeded until there was nothing left. At the same time Impmon could feel the hunger for power or food he always felt slowly slip away.

Some people may have been happy that they were rid of a seal, Impmon thought of something else.

"Finally I can eat things and enjoy them!"

The Dark God's vessel said "If you want him to wake up, you should just wait until his data core's running at full capacity, unless you want to devolve and give the energy back."

 

"Daniel, this isn't the time for you to have personal issues." Sealsdramon said in an almost inaudible whisper, so that only Daniel could hear "I already know what happens if we go down this path, so you need to trust me on this one. Whatever you do, don't let you-know-who get to you. Near as we can tell, the events at Celestus were pivotal to own downfall last time."

 

BanchoLeomon growled and nudged Impmon out of his way "Don't think this changes anything." He told the tiny demon "I'll kill you and every one of your ex-comrades if I have to."

Lucemon frowned slightly, which Velgemon noticed. 'Hrugh, what is that look?' he growled. 'I can sense the seal of lust, meaning whoever defeated Lilithmon took her digi-egg or absorbed it' he stated. 'Where is it coming from?' Velgemon inquired/growled. 'Somewhere near Azulongmon's territory, meaning that it must be one of those wretched airships. Odd, there would be nothing important in Azulongmon's territory, unless they're going to Celestus' Lucemon explained and snapped his fingers. 'They must be going to the holy city of Celestus, why, I am not certain. However, I happen to have an express passage to that place, with four of Ogudomon's legs free, this will be too easy' Lucemon laughed with an evil grin. He flew over and landed on Velgemon's back. 'Prepare yourself, this will be a kind of entertainment that only appears once in a blue moon' Lucemon stated. He place dhis arms to opposite sides and a white and opposing black sphere appeared in both. They grew larger and detached from his hands, circling both of them. The white sphere whirled past the duo, and once it passed, they were gone. Both spheres slowly shrank and vanished.

 

The same sphere alignment appeared above Celestus, and when the black sphere whirled around and had passed, Lucemon and Velgemon were left behind. The fallen angel surveyed the realm, and he laughed loudly, it echoed over the realm. 'So good, to be home' he said sinisterly.

Impmon used all of his strength to stop from throwing a fireball at BanchoLeomon. He knew it wouldn't have any effect on the mega, but it sure as hell would have made Impmon feel better. You have no idea what a demon lord is capable of, The imp digimon thought as he turned and went on his way, He couldn't even beat me without the power of my seal, or the hybrid Lillithmon. If he thinks he can defeat a fully powered demon lord with Ogudomon on their side... He is going ro get seriously hurt.

 

Sam and Kotemon were just about to go find Impmon when he appeared next to them. None of them spoke as he sat down on the table with them. He grabbed the half eaten slice pizza and started to eat.

Sam spoke first, "So what happened?" He asked.

"Nothing. He tried to fight me, but he didn't do a very good job."

"Really, you look pretty beat." Kotemon told him bluntly.

"Yes really. He seemed to think that I was still a demon lord, even when he saw my seal fade away." Impmon finished off the pizza slice, "He still wants to destroy me though."

[Hydra of Ages]

"No." Mistymon said with a sigh. "I guess we don't. However, you aren't against Omnimon alone... it's you against a MetalGarurumon or WarGreymon alone, and me against the other alone, at least until they fuse, in which it's yourself and me against one Omnimon. One Royal Knight and about half of a second Royal Knight facing one of the most powerful Royal Knights alone. I would recommended you taking the WarGarurumon while I handle the WarGreymon, considering the WarGreymon's claws are Dramon Busters..."

Seri cocked an eyebrow and sighed slightly as WaruSeadramon twisted and turned in the deep oceans, still visible due to his amazing size. She vaguely wondered if it were possible for him to kick up Tsunami's like this.

 

Probably not, she reflected. The Digital Ocean was always eerily quiet and free from turbulence, even though it contained a vast number of monstrosities in its depth.

 

Seri felt even a little frightened. Though she could feel the Seal of Envy from WaruSeadramon in her digivice, she couldn't really feel HIM. It was odd, considering that as far as partners and humans went, she and he were incredibly close. Close enough that as a Rookie, he never wandered from her side, and even at higher levels, he was always within eyesight. At this point, however, the bloodlust and hunger that consumed him, seemed to well, consume him. She figured she just needed to wait for him to eat his fill for the moment at least, before she tried to get him to return to Coelamon or Crabmon...

"Mistymon, you're still a Perfect. I can't allow you to fight a Mega on your own." He shook his head and BioMode Changed to Fighter Mode, with Mistymon appearing on his hand afterward "Go to Ceila and try to figure out a way to wake her up safely." He commanded "I'll try and hold off my brother until you get back... can't make too many promises though." All his arm spikes once again vanished and formed into the Splendor Blade. "I do not want to do this..." He muttered

Mistymon raised an eyebrow slightly. "I fought off ChaosGallantmon when he turned. " he said simply. "I'm quite used to fighting against those with more physical strength than myself, even while not LordKnightmon. If nothing else, I'll be able to distract one of them while you take on the other; Neither of them are Royal-Knight strength alone, and neither am I at the moment, so it shouldn't be too hard for me to drag out a fight. Don't worry about me, there's a thing about Mages like myself. We always have a trick up our sleeves.

((Wait... Mistymon has eyebrows?))

 

"Omnimon as a Royal Knight is stronger than three of us. Even if he is split in half at the moment, he's still two Mega Digimon." He shook his head. "But I'm just gonna have to trust you. Good luck." With that, he shook Mistymon off his palm and shot down "Positron Laser!" he roared, aiming to knock MetalGarurumon as far away from WarGreymon as possible.

[Proto]

Suddenly a purple colored knight appeared on the scene with a skull-like mask and bulky armor, wielding one large double ended spear clad in one hand and holding a sort of purple orb in the other. He looked at the Mystic Knight and Dragon Knight Digimon with a small look of large distaste. "So this is what the old man dragon wanted me here for, he said something about a few Royal Knights were corrupted." The Craniamon said in a grave voice with a cold look in his eyes.

 

 

Meanwhile Beowulfmon and JewelBeemon were not faring too well agianst WaruSeadramon. As they were both about to fall into the monsters open gaping maw. "Man none of these attacks are working!" yelled the Warrior of Light, firing off blast after blast at the beast.

"Don't suppose you'll believe me when I say that it's not us?" Imperialdramon asked, flicking his gaze from BlackMetalGarurumon, who, along with BlackWarGreymon, Slide Evolved into his 'pure' form, to Craniamon and back, feeling Tara's fear inside him Calm yourself Tara. The dragon thought to his partner We'll be fine. Craniamon is as thick headed as his name suggests, but he's also not that bright. I can beat these two, easily.

 

I know when I'm being lied to... Came the sorrowful reply

Mistymon stared at Craniamon. "I was awarded by Alphamon the duty of deciding what is right, and what is wrong, for a Royal Knight to do. By definition, I cannot be corrupted, Craniamon." he said, gritting his teeth a little. "I was chosen for this duty because, compared to the other Royal Knights, my raw power is underwhelming but my cunning is exceptional. I cannot be drunk on power. My morals are entirely unshakeable because I disallow emotions to interfere with them. You and Omnimon do not have the same duty nor responsibly to be impartial. How can you trust that you are the one in the right, if your logic and emotions can be so easily compromised that your superior does not have full trust in them?" Mistymon reasoned. "I do not wish to fight you, but if I must do so in order to uphold Alphamon's Mandate, I shall."

WaruSeadramon growled at the insignificant insects that were avoiding his capture, feeling vaguely annoyed at their buzzing about his ears and refusing to enter his gullet. In order to help encourage them otherwise, his horn, near the size of a Skyscraper put on its side, glowed immaculately. "Maelstrom." he said in a deep voice, capable of whipping up waves even just by the sound waves.

 

The seas sloshed and churned around in a gigantic circle; Even all the way to shore and far out to sea, a dark shadow seem to be cast. There was a deep rumbling of thunder as a storm seemed to appear from absolutely nowhere. There was a bright flash of lightning in the skies and a deep roar from the clouds themselves in preperation for a massive Seastorm that gave Maelstrom its name.

Minervamon and Rosemon appeared behind Seri, though there was a subtle difference in them, one that Seri couldn't quite place but something in them just felt strange. "Wow, my my Cravvy you've put on some weight since I was gone." The former mused "I could probably see you from Olympus, don't you three think?" She asked looking at Rosemon and Seri with a smile.

 

Rosemon just shook her head "Minerva, shut up." She said with a faint grin.

 

((I'm not sure, does Seri know that Rosemon=Liya yet?))

"I'm going to find whoever it is who runs this barge." Sam told Impmon and Kotemon, "We need to speak with him."

"Agreed," Kotemon said, "But the question then is where we would find him. I suppose theres a map somehwere, or we could ask one of the marines."

Impmon was contemplating everything that had happened to him recentley, he had to take stock of his life before he thought of anything else. "Perhaps. But I think before we dock I need to figure things out." Impmon finally said.

"Why, what do you mean?" Kotemon asked him.

"Something BanchoLeomon said, "Once a Demon Lord, always a Demon Lord", He has no idea what he's talkig about. But he doesnt know that." The imp digimon gave a chuckle, "He needs to learn the truth."

And no, I don't think so. I don't believe she even knows who Liya is.))

 

Seri blinked when Minervamon and Rosemon appeared, and smiled slightly. "Oh, hey Minerva. Who's your friend?" she inquired, before glancing over at the raging WaruSeadramon.

"And that actually might not be too far off, Minerva." she said with a hint of a mutter. She kinda disliked that her Cravvy's instincts were starting to overwhelm his conscious mind now, and was wondering what it would be like if he ever did fully become Leviamon then. Would she even be needed when he fully returned to his Demon Lord status?

 

She winced slightly as she felt the mark of envy burned into her own skin start to prickle somewhat, though she didn't know exactly why.

 

She flinched slightly as a massive crack of thunder boomed over the ocean, a massive lance of electricity slamming down directly into the waters. WaruSeadramon seemed quite unaffected by the heat or charge, though electricity still crackled through the lake. The winds were starting to churn, faster and faster, becoming as a real Maelstrom localized into that one section of the ocean.

"Oh, that's just Rosemon, Lilithmon's soon-to-be replacement" Minerva said boastfully "Just call her Liya though." She said with a smile, before wondering if Seri even knew who Liya was "Anyway, what did I miss, besides Cravvy hitting the all-you-can-eat buffet like there's a DigiMemory at the bottom." She then addressed the WaruSeadramon "Seriously, Beelzemon---Megidramon's supposed to be the one that eats EVERYTHING and EVERYONE, not you, you're supposed to covet. Now get coveting!"

 

SnowAgumon, as he had given up his name when Tyler's adrenaline rush wore off and he realized how much danger he was in so he turned tail and ran back to the human world, was wandering around the Silence "Wait, am I on the Silence?" He asked aloud "Looks a lot like the Gungnir...

"Well its your lucky day, Huanglongmon actually mentioned that I'd have to help Imperialdramon, as much as I'd enjoy impaling you with Claiomh Solais right here, I have orders to treat you as a superior." The armored digimon replied, though his grip on his spear tightened. Did they think that the most worthy of the Royal Knights was stupid enough to assume that Imperialdramon was one of the corrupted bretheren. He then snapped at them "So who's the brother we must fight? Any one of them I have no problem with destroying now."

[Hydra of Ages]

"He is coveting." Seri explained. "Leviamon covets everyone and everything- he wants to merge it all with himself. Leviamon is more or less a tiny... well, comparatively tiny, digital world, in the shape of a Digimon. Everything he eats is permanently added to his internal data. Beelzemon- or well, Megidramon, eats because it feels good to indulge in things. That's Gluttony. Barbamon wants to own things, more things than other people. He wants control. He doesn't want things for the sake of the things themselves, he just wants a lot of them. That's Greed. Leviamon, on the other hand, is jealous of the size, diversity and existence of the Digital World itself. Everything that has an attribute he doesn't, power, beauty, creativity, people... everything, he's jealous of. He wants everything, so he takes everything and makes it part of him. He eats so that he can essentially BE the digital world himself. That's Envy." She said with a bit of an odd. "the Hunger is a bit of a misnomer. Leviamon does indeed have an insatiable urge to eat... but his urge isn't because he misses the sensation and tastes of eating, like Gluttony would be, but that he can't stand to see things he doesn't have around him. That's why he lives in the Infinite Abyss. The Darkness and Nothingness... it takes his mind, briefly, off the fact that there are so many things that he doesn't have."

 

She blinked, then giggled. "Sorry for going all serious on a tangent there. It's just been something I've been thinking about a lot lately. Anyway, hello Liya." she said pleasantly, glancing towards Rosemon with only a very quick cursory glance and in appreciation of the female's curves and ample chest. She glanced back to Minervamon after greeting the plant-digimon.

"Mhm, you didn't miss much. Me and WaruSeadramon were confined to the coasts by virtue of him being too big to fit anywhere else, and after the memory was gotten, he was already too riled up to want to leave immediately. So I've just been hanging around. You?" she asked curiously, laying down on the sand and stretching a little.

Mistymon blinked at the armored Knight a few times, tried to find his words, and sighed at the stupidity.

 

"The WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon behind you that we were just about to fight and are being INCREDIBLY conspicuous right now might give you a hint." he said dryly.

Megidramon picked himself up from where he'd been thrown, looking none the worse for wear. Slithering over to where his partner lay, he grabbed Vincent and placed him up on his back.

"Fine then...since you have apparently decided to make me the Demon Lord of Gluttony, I might as well ask, what would you have me do first?" the newly crowned Lord of Gluttony asked with a growl.

"Alright then," Impmon concluded, "You guys go and speak to whoever runs this ship, While I go speak to that looney leo."

"Are you sure? I mean the way you talked about him, it made him seem one step away from religious zealotry." Kotemon was oviously worried for his new found friend. He had already effectivley lost one that day already, he looked at Sam. It was as if his friend had aged when he didn't notice it.

"Dont worry," Sam told Kotemon, "He knows what he's doing. Ok, you two ready to digivolve.

"Yeh." The digimon replied at the same time, Sam pointed his black and light blue digivice at the digimon.

"Kotemon digivolve to... Yasyamon!"

"Impmon warp digivolve to... Beelzemon!"

"Ok, we good?" Sam asked the two digimon easily twice his height, it was only then that he noticed the numeous digimon and marines staring at Beelzemon. The digimon had noticed this aswell. "Damn, you need some sort of disguise."

"Wasn't that what my power was for?" Yasyamon asked.

"Yes," Beelzemon said, "But we have no idea what my new mega is... And BanchoLeomon wouldn't recognise me. It doesnt matter anyway. Lets go."

[The Warden]

Lucemon watched with a smirk as many of the angel Digimon fled from his sight, he remembered this same occurence when he first fell, it was a good feeling to destroy half a city just because he could. 'Celestus is the home of those proud enough to wear a holy ring, which is a symbol of purity. The holy digi-memory would be here' Lucemon stated. In his hands he summoned a small white sphere, which moved out in front of him and grew, well streched to become a two-way viewing portal. 'Lord Ogudomon, this is Lucemon reporting in from Celestus. I need the location of the holy digi-memory' he stated.

[Blackstone Dresden]

"I'm thinking maybe you've been corrupted, Craniamon." Imperialdramon said, pointing at his Claiomh Solais with the Splendor Blade. "You're so eager to kill our brethren, after all. Want to make Ogudomon's job easier by taking out another Royal Knight?" He asked, leveling the blade at his throat "Or maybe you're just a Piedmon in disguise, sent here to fool us into leading you to our base." Imperialdramon set his face in an emotionless mask, a talent acquired from being BioMerged with his partner, "I think it's best if you just leave, whoever you are. I don't feel like fighting any more than I need to today."

 

Meanwhile, MetalGarurumon and WarGreymon Jogressed into Omnimon and had both the Grey Sword and the Garuru Cannon outstretched, waiting to see what would play out. The Garuru Cannon was also leveled precisely at Mistymon's head, "He lies. Huanglongmon has been blinded by Ogudomon, Mistymon, for he has been so corrupted as to have lost his LordKnightmon status, and Imperialdramon, my weaker brother, have fallen into Ogudomon's service, both have already killed the humans, innocent girls with no hope of defending themselves. Craniamon, open your eyes. How could you possibly believe that I, Omnimon, the leader of the Royal Knights in absence of the Lord of the Empty Seat himself, would betray our cause?"

 

"Enjoying the sights?" Liya asked with a wry grin "It's not my fault that my top doesn't close or reach my belly button... Why the Hell do I even have a belly button anyway?" She asked, shaking her head "Anyway, Demon Lady of Lust to-be or not, I'm getting exhausted." With that, she closed her eyes and briefly glowed, separating into Floramon, who had visibly matured and was lacking the blank expression that showed she had her will drained, and Liya, who was very obviously clad in nothing but opaque DigiSoul that barely equated to a skirt and a bikini top. "Over...did...it" She muttered, falling on her back next to Seri, with Floramon walking into the water and extending her roots.

 

Minerva laid down next to Seri, on the opposite side as Liya "Cravvy..." She said sweetly, "Would you kindly provide me with some shade?"

 

"There is nothing to do now but relax and rejuvenate while we wait for the next key to turn on. Of course, the DigiMarines may have something to do before then, but there will be no need for you to join that fight." Ogudomon said in his own voice, dropping Megidramon down to BlackGuilmon and transferring the latent energy into Vincent, visibly exhausting the pair "Now, eat, sleep, just be ready to go if things get out of hand for the other five."

 

Meanwhile, Max was looking into the pool, where Lucemon's image reflected off the water's surface instead of his own. "The Holy DigiMemory has yet to be activated, meaning that its data is scattered across the city in infinitely small piece. Your light half may even have a few flecks. Why, might I ask, are you in Celestus? Did you receive some new intel about the enemy?" He, of course new the answer, but for some reason Lilithmon's death had calmed him so he saw no reason not to converse with his first and favorite Demon Lord.
