"Ah, Dodge Charmeleon!" Kris shouted. Charmeleon dodged for the most but got hit abit on his right leg. "Charmeleon are you alright?" Charmeleon nodded, "Then let's do this. Flamethrower!" Kris shouted. The charmeleon dodged another sandstorm and hit the trapinch head on with the flamethrower.

Chris continued down the street, scanning the city, he wasn't used to it's massive buildings, if he as claustrophobic the city would have paralyzed him with fear, huge, towering buildings seemingly threatening to engulf the street and everyone on it, he was slightly startled as a massive monitor in the side of a building flared to life, a news reporter sat in her usual chair. with a smile that seemed to want to swallow up the rest of her her face, frequent viewers of the program know that this look is rather uncommon for the broadcaster.

"Ladies and gentlmen, I'm Alexandra Grey, and I'm the first person to bring you this absolutely stunning story!" Not even pausing for half a second, Grey continued. "It seems that the woman who changed our world forever, Professor Rosethorn is alive! This news comes after a ten year long hiatus from the public eye! The Professor claims to have a statment so important that it will change the way we view the world, and last time the Professor said that, She delivered! The professor's statment air during this weekend, we're still unclear on the exact time, but we'll try deliver an update as soon as possible."

 

With that, the monitor returned to it's blank state, leaving a stunned crowd standing before it, Chris was but a single member of this mass.

"Woah, did you hear that?" Kris said, pausing the battle. He was nowhere near a tv but had his radio on so he heard every word. "I think I'm gonna head back into town, sorry we had to stop the battle but somethings going on and right after that onix attack." Kris said, returning charmeleon. "Come on absol." "Aaabsooool." The absol said.

That was wierd, Zeno thought after Kris went running down the street. "I guess things are starting to get really interesting around here. Oh well, time to keep training." Since Trapinch was already out, he decided to train Trapinch. "Alright Trapinch, use scratch" pointing at a rattata that had just come into sight. Trapinch quickly pounced on the Rattata, forcing it to drop the item it was carrying. After the rattata scampered off, Zeno went to inspect it. It appeared to be some type of candy. "Here you go Trapinch," he said, feeding the candy to Trapinch. He quickly noticed how his Trapinch grew in size a little, and appeared stronger.

 

"Looks like you found a rare candy," A trainer who had been passing by said. "Thats lucky. But why aren't you in town? You missing everything." The trainer quickly headed into town. Zeno returned his Trapinch to his pokeball before following.
