Pokemon Rumble - Info On Game

Alright, I bought this game on WiiWare. I'll explain about it.

It's not bad, it's a different aspect on pokemon. Like Mystery Dungeon, you control them and use there moves, but, you can only have 2 moves. The first one is a basic, and the second you have to pay to get. Sadly, the move is chosen randomly, then you pick to set as 2, 1, or not have it. The bad part is, you use "Toy" Pokemon, and wind them up with a Wonder Key to make them real. Since they're just toys, they don't level up or evolve. Instead, you go through "dungeons", if you will, fighting hordes of pokemon. Depending on the Rank Area, and the map, you'll find different pokemon. Sometimes, when you defeat a pokemon, they may tip over, and you can "recruit" them by walking up to them. All Pokemon have different power levels, which is used to enter the battle royale. The Royal is only accessible when you have a pokemon of a certain power. In C, it's 100, in B, it's 200, and my guess is A is 300.

Now, the retarted thing is, that once you have a pokemon that meets the requirements, you can use ANY pokemon in the royale, even the crappy Rattatta you use in the beginning, with 28 power.

Back to buisness. At any terminal (Where you pick a map, or go to the royale), there are 7 extra options. They are Recruit, Release, Move Tutor, Wiimote Pokemon, Collection, Info, and Multiplayer. At Recruit, you can pay a certain amount of money (depending on rank) to get a random pokemon from any of the maps. The pokemon is usually pretty strong. You can ALSO put in a password to get a super strong pokemon. Currently, for American Version, the passwords are only for Venasaur, Blastoise, Mew, Cherrim, Eevee, and Turtwig. With passwords, the stupid thing, is that their power is automatically 1 less than the required royal. Ex - in C, they'll be 99. When I beat C's royale, they'll be 199.

I'll be quick on the other options. Release, release any amount of pokes, and get a gift. You may get a rare pokemon depending on the comination. Move Tutor, look above to see what it does. Wiimote, you can store pokemon on the wiimote. Collection shows all pokemon you have, had, or seen. Info, just gives crap. Multiplayer allows you to play with up to 3 other players online.

Anyways, on the the pokemon themselves. The pokemon use the crappy Pokemon Ranch Models, so don't be prepared for impressiveness. Moves differ, depending on pokemon, like in normal games, Flareon can't learn water gun. Moves also do show super effectiveness, like Aqua Tail on Rapidash is more than on Turtwig. Moves like tackle, you instantly rush forward, but you barely move. Moves like ember, and scratch, you have a little range in front of you. Vine Whip and Razor Leaf, stretch out to your sides, not in front, so they can hit multiple pokemon. Others like Flash Cannon just shoot out. Shock Wave and Flame Wheel create a circle around you. You may have noticed I've only mentioned G1 and G4 Pokemon. That's all there is. As of now, I've only seen G1s, but since Cherrim is available via password, there are bound to be some.

In Dungeons, at the end of each level there's a boss. The bosses may be legendary pokemon. The first boss you'll fight is Ivysaur, and you'll recruit him when you're done. You CAN recruit all the bosses, but you WON'T always. Bosses are also Freakishly huge. In the Royale, you have rival pokemon who appear in the end. They aren't big, but they're strong with good health. In the beginning of a royale, you fight basic pokemon from the dungeons. As you eliminate them (they do fight each other, so you aren't stuck fighting 62 pokemon lol) more will appear, and the ones that appear will be evolved and stronger, up until the rivals. The rivals aren't so tough, carefully planned strategies will work. When you beat 1 royale, you can go to the next rank, if you wish.

Switching pokemon is lulzy. In the Terminal and in dungeons, you can switch to ANY of your pokemon, and not just 6 at a time. I have like, 8 pages of pokemon. During a dungeon, you can switch when you want, but you can't attack or move while your winding up the others, so don't try it near an enemy. When you die in a dungeon, you have 3 wonder keys. When you faint, you get to pick another pokemon, but you lose a key. Lose 'em all, you're out. In the Royale, you can't switch in battle, but when you die, you still have 3 wonder keys.

That about covers everthing I can think of. NOW POST!!!

I'm in Rank A. They said stuff about DLC, so I hope they at LEAST add G2 Pokemon.

B's Royale took my about 3-4 tries. It's, the last Pokemon would be Machamp, and his intense strength was murder. Once I got the Grass Guard Pidgeot, I owned.

The American passwords for this game are rediculously limited. I wanted to use a code for a Garchomp with Dragon Claw T_T

But ehh, I haz a Regigigas with Thunder + Drain Punch

Oh, and Im at the EX mode now. Its after the 'Advanced' mode.

Getting all the Pokemon will be annoying DX

.......I wonder how you can get Rotom to become his other forms o_o

3x Phione=Manaphy

Lapras+Vaporeon=Phione

^These are whats currently annoying me^

I WANT to get a Manaphy' date=' but I have no Vaporeons, and only 1 Lapras :/

I hate how this game has that "If it feals like it" mechanic, where you havge to visit a place [i']AT LEAST[/i] 500+ times before a Lapras will appear, and then say "LOL!" at you when you fail to Befriend it.

:/

lol that sucks for you but i just figured out how to "evolve" pokemon. All you need is 5 of any 1'st or 2'nd evolution of any pokemon realese them and you will get it's next evolutions ticket thats how i got ryperior torterra and dozens more :P

In the higher stages, like the S Rank on 'Advanced', you find Rhyperiors and Torterras all over the place.

Turning 5 Gabites into a Garchomp is at least 50 times easier then getting a Garchomp at the end of the stage.

Oh, and I haz a Speedy Garchomp with Flamethrower and Shadow Claw :3

Darkrai will be a pain to unlock, since it requires you to use all the Rotom form in order to get it.

Rotom is one of those 'Rare' guys, and so are the Eevee forms that you use to get said Rotom.

So far, I have the Cut Form.

Also: Dialga will be annoying, since I just need to get another Lucario. Riolou is Rare, and Lucario is a boss, so.... yea :/
