"Hmmm...We don't want to waste lives and we can't risk the technology. I propose we use a mobile Mana pool. Knowing the properties of Magic, if they sense a large source of Mana, they will be mentally forced to seek it out. Its an addiction that can't be broken, we will use it to our advantage."

"Yokai are under contract though. They won't enter the road ever. In addition stepping outside the road is pretty much death. We can either take advantage of the enemy being cramped together or we can abuse he fact that surronding the enemy is no man's land."

...Crea-kun, you're trying to take control of something without actually knowing the background of it.

There are no Plains of Wenchouku on the continent of Xalbeerg. And how do you just assume that magicians are addicted to mana pools, whatever those are?

Darling, this is a club for the imaginative, yes, but that doesn't mean you can freely go about making up any fact you want~

There wouldn't be any need for tactical stratagem if it was as simple as luring in Magicians with mana pools, silly. <3

Magicians are just people who have practiced the art of weaving enchantments and spells. They aren't some force of people addicted to magic energy.

Also, Chase-kun, please delete your most recent post, okay? I was going to use this post to provide some roleplaying for you and Kuma-kun, and there's no way you'd be back from Sunadiel already. It's very far away.

As the Vampire and the Serpent weaved their way through the air, constantly trying to one-up each other, the sand of the desert beneath them began to rumble. Then, without any further warning, a great, scaley beast erupted from the sand, lunging at the two of them and barely missing.

The creature was a Giant Sand Worm, at least a hundred feet long, its round body roughly 40 feet in diameter. It had no eyes, but instead "saw" through a series of ultra-sensitive antennae which read thermal waves in the air. Opening its multi-mouth jaw, it let out a roar of hunger as it leaped again through the air, opening wide in an attempt to devour the two messengers.

"you know you really frikin get on my nerves so let me just prove you wrong right now Pierce the eternal heavens shrouding all light and illuminating all darkness, Anake." chases sword began to be surrounded by a dark aura which dispersed revealing a new sword with a blade on each side of a hilt that when slimmed looked like a drill one of the blades shot out from the hilt with a chain connecting the blade to the hilt and the blade pierced the worm and came out on the other side of it "what did you say about stabbing wouldn't work."

The Worm roared out as the drill-like blade pierced through it, its back weakened due to the flames the Flying Serpent Boy has spat. However, it was quick to retaliate, entwining its body around the intrusion as it began to take the blade and chains into its body, tugging Chase along with it as the hole in its body quickly began to close.

As Chase was pulled within a few dozen feet of the beast, it opened its mouth and spat out a series of long tongues, each of which began to wrap around the Vampire.

Nearby, several mounds of sand had begun to rise all around the great worm, and in moments, the sand was exploding with Smaller, faster worms, all of which were crying out and leaping, leaping for Kuma-kun.

Meanwhile, in the Palace~<3

Lina stood in front of a great statue, dressed in real robes and ornamented with a great, ornate spear in its right hand. This was the statue of Zolta, the deity who presdied over feminine rulers, and as such, was regarded as the chief deity of Surfierio. Lina stared at the statue, alone in the Castle Temple, with one figner on her chin, thinking.

"What do you think, Zolta?" she asked the Lady Deity, who's stone face remained unmoving, uninterested. "I know that Sheldon is angry that I wouldn't share my cookie recipe with him, but is that really why he would start an entire war against me? Is there anything bigger going on here? I could use some guidance..."

But the Statue did not seem as though it was going to give any answer. Sighing, Lina raised up her scepter, and slowly began to walk in a circle around the statue, weaving the Scepter in various patterns as her lips began to move and her eyes closed. She took measured, careful steps, stopping every three steps to walk backwards two steps, and then returning forward.

Finally, she came full circle, and stopped. And she saw.

She saw Sheldon speaking with a creature of flames. She saw Emperor Mandrespire smiling wickedly at a strange, huddled figure, his hand bleeding. She saw flames falling wickedly over Surfierio.

And then the vision ended, and se gasped. She needed to find her people, and fast.

Nexev walked too the statue of Zolta and knelled "I have done what you asked, I have followed the girl who rules over magic, I made a deal with the one the light seared. Now I have to make a bargain with Vixen. How many people must I become tied to before it's over? What should I do?"

Nexev then noticed Lina and embarrassed ran away.

Explanation: Nexev suffers from hallucinations, he is either directly hearing gods' will or is just insane. Either way he believes he had to follow the girl who ruled over magic (Lina) and make a deal with the one light seared (which means he made a pact with a certain demon, his sole is safe but he has to help the demon from time to time and will serve him in the afterlife). In addition Nexev doesn't know why he has to do these things, just that he has too. He even thinks he might be insane but then everything was done for nothing, which would simply destroy him emotionally for a bit.

Nexev stopped dead in his tracks. He sighed deeply and turned around to face Lina.

"Yes your majesty? I have finished adapting the gravity bombs by the way, now they just hurl people and are able to be fit in our mobile grenade turrets. Is there something you want to talk about?"

Lina-sama, it's Serpent, not snake. :P

Or dragon, but not snake. xD

---

Instinct kicked in, and Fenrir blasted an orb of fire into the open mouth of the worm. As it descended, it collected heat, and grew larger and larger. Fenrir quickly spat flames at the smaller worms, hopefully stopping them in their tacks. Quickly, he spiraled downward, using his wings to cut their tongues, and using his long golden antlers to catch chase. As he caught the vampire, he spiraled upward, away from the worm.

"That should finish him off." He muttered to himself.

-----

There's a reason why he's flying away from the worm. ;D
