Nexev's voice blared through the intercom "Attention everyone, this i head of research Nexev reminding Amethyst to please stop killing the bosses until they are encountered in their designated fights. Thank you."

Nexev came walking back to the throne room. "Since BB is being a jerk and won't let me restock our bombs I have nothing else to do. Interesting summary of the continent I noticed Veruondia wasn't mentioned."

Emoswa stopped immediately what he was doing, like a deer staring into the headlights of an oncoming car preparing to turn them into roadkill. His hammer stopped dead in it's tracks, and within blinking time, he dropped his hammer, and dashed like a man who has seen a Thanksgiving feast after being stuck in the desert for 5 years. He dashed and dashed as the wind blew in his face, and he bursted through the doors, and proceeded to his kneeling position, begging that he hadn't done something wrong that would get him killed.

King walks over the bridge, over the mountains kills a few dragons walks back into the palace, takes a deep breath and says "Tis a sad day when the Dragon are easy to slay." Next a dragon walks into the kingdom.

"Damn it don't worry I shall slay it." pulls out bow. "Dang I am out of ammunition, guees i'll just cut its eyes and make it bleed to death." Walks outside and does what he said. walks back into the castle and says "Wow slaying dragons has proven to be more fun than I had ever imagined." He said with an evilish grin.

Letting out a sigh of exasperation, he swiftly turned away from the doorway and walked toward the throne in the center of the room. Taking a brief look at the crayon emblazoned canvas before him, he gestured toward a rugged outline that represented the forest which separated Embiran and Surfierio. Taking a small drag of his cigarette, he puffed out a circle of flame and smirked.

"That path is the most obvious direction and will probably be congested near to death with the Wizard's troops, and seeing as how Magic users seem to like to do that often, they will probably be protected by Enchantments or something like that." He turned his head to Amethyst for a moment. "Damn near horrible Enchantments, it seems. Seems that the Magic wasn't good enough this time, eh?"

Turning back toward the Queen, he let out a shrug. "If were lucky, the Wizard's setting up some sort of trap that we didn't prepare for, and it'll gain them a massive advantage over our troops. And hopefully, if they're as badass as I'm told, they'll inflict massive casualties on the Wizard's side. Then, we can blow up the Wizard's defenses, kill the bastard and possibly transform most of Embiran's landscape into a nuclear wasteland. But that's boring."

He frowned, and inquired: "Just how deadly is cutting through the forest off-trail in comparison with direct contact with enemy troops?"

As Emoswa overheard the conversation, he figured he would add his two cents to the conversation. After all, he had information to contribute, so he figured he should share it. He rose to his feet, head rised and hands at his sides, and said "I've been through about half of that forest, and it's completely harmless. Of course, all of that forest was in our territory, but as far as I could tell it would probably be easier than to challenge an army of Mage Masters, no matter what's in those woods."

Emoswa then turned to the queen as she sat in her throne "So, what is my new assignment?", and he returned to his humble and lowly state. He prefferred to be a humble person, because he considered himself no more than a servant.

"I'm not authorized to comment on how exactly I got in there." Amethyst bluntly stated as he walked past Big Brother to the intercom on the wall. Noticing it had a security encryption, he slid his hand behind it, fiddled with some wires, heard a loud spark, withdrew his hand, and keyed up the intercom.

"Nexev, I did kill them in their designated boss fights. I suggest you play the prequel."

Amethyst stopped himself midturn, and keyed the intercom again "Oh, and you should know by now that my ectosensors can detect spectral wires." he snarked.

Lina sighed, but this time in amusement. Sometimes, her companions seemed more like children than she did, if only for their miniature, harmless squabbles. She cleared her throat.

"Well, even so, save some for the rest of us, alright, Amethyst-kun?" she chided laughingly, before addressing Nii-san. "The Forest is a very dangerous place, off-road. I can say now with absolutely certainty that it was the fortune of fate smiling on him," she stated, pointing at Emoswa, "That allowed him to go through it unharmed. Either that, or he just didn't seem interesting enough to the residents~ er, sorry, Emos-chan." she added with a giggle. "The Vixen is the most prominent threat to worry about in that forest. She's the Queen of the Lokai, which are the fox spirits that call the forest home, and is not to be taken lightly at all." she explained, grimmacing a bit as she remembered her few encounters with the fox Queen. One had to always choose their words very carefully around her, lest they say the wrong thing and trigger the wrong magics.

"Then there's also the Crow Demons, the bewitching spirits, and Moving House Ishbushka, where the most undesirable one resides. She's far worse than the Vixen. So, in short, crossing through the forest off of the road is highly inadvisable. Especially since they'll be much more interested in a royal than a wandering swordsman. Is there anything we can do about that, Nii-san? The road, I mean. It's just as you say - the road is sure to be blocked."

Finishing in her explanation, she turned to Emoswa now. "I just wanted to let you know that the target I had planned for you was already handled~ So instead, you'll be sticking with me until I instruct you otherwise, alright darling?"

=3 The Kingdom is Embrisan, by the way. Embrisian is how you refer to someone from Embrisan, also.

8O And Nexy-chan, I don't believe there is a Veruondia Continent - and I would know, having made this map an everything. x3

"Whatever?" Nexev said exasperatedly. "On the subject f the forest it my be possible to travel outside the road. I regularly trade exotic food with the Lokai for some of the plants native to their area. At the very least they themselves would tolerate me and maybe one escort. Vixen and I share a history together."

Fenrir did a quick dog yawn, and proceeded to give his opinion. "Well, what about Golems?" Golems were a popular enchantment among Wizards. After all, who wouldn't want to be able to make a giant servant out of rock? "They're badass, easily controlled, and nearly invincible." Pausing for a second, "Oh, and I can take care of The Vixen. I am a canine after all."

Emoswa continued to reply humbly "As you wish." Now that he thought of it, the queen was quite easy-going, and could probably be a little more relaxed, but he figured that he should remain humble, out of principle. So, he simply did as he was told, just like he was taught as a child, he grabbed a chair from the corner of the room, sat and waited. He was told to stay with her, and that was exactly what he decided to do. Hopefully he didn't take things too literally and look like a moron.

As he waited, he pulled a block of wood from his pocket, about the size of a dagger box, pulled a dagger from his other pocket and began carving the wood. He also wanted to sell small wooden toys to the children of the land as another pass time. He actually enjoyed serving others, especially children.

Lina looked on a bit dubiously at Nexev, smiling nervously. "A, uh...history?" she asked, sounding worried. "I hope you never accepted any gifts from her. Ever." she told him, getting very close and looking very serious for once. "The Vixen has been alive for longer than most recorded history, Nexy-chan, and is well-known to make alleged friendships with mortals out of personal interest....but..." she then stopped and took a breath. What was she doing? This was Nexev. He was smart. He probably knew what he was doing. She sighed. "Just...be careful, alright?"

That said, she managed to catch the last bit from Kuma-kun, and turned to him with the same nervous smile. "Um...let's not try and start anything close to open combat with her, alright? The Vixen is not one you would call a simple Canine, Kuma-kun~"

Lina sighed, fearing that her companions were severely underestimating the things that lay within the forest.

Big Brother yawned, and turned his back to the Queen. "First plan then, I assume? I'll go get the soldiers' lazy asses in gear to go storm the path." Stamping out his cigarette, the Player walked briskly toward the door. For a moment an insane grin etched his features as he began to fiddle with his pouches of explosives.

Emoswa continued to nonchalantly carve his little wooden dagger, while listening to the conversation. He wondered if he would have any part in this mission, or perhaps could possibly contribute some information of some kind. However, Emoswa had no information to provide to this conversation, and simply silently listened, allowing the conversation to feed his own knowledge of the enemy. He was sure he'd have something to do with this mission. So, he simply waited to be adressed, and would speak when spoken to.

"Well," the Queen mused in answer to Nii-san. "Fighting the wizards forces is fighting ana rmy. Waging open contact on the forest residents is like attacking forces of nature. There's simply no way to win in direct confrontation - that's why there's a contract in the first place that keeps them in the forest and off of the path."

She then turned to Kuma-kun and gave him a wry smile. "More like a goddess, dear. Or how many canines do you know that can assume human shape and wield magics mortals cannot touch? I'm not saying she's unbeatable - that's the thing about magic, no one in this world can truly be unbeatable. But I am saying that it's the sort of task you wouldn't want to undertake if you could avoid it. And I'm not sure we're up to it~"

"Oh, and Golemns are a no. Charging through the forest with those things would just provoke the forest-dwellers." she added with a laugh, watching Nii-san as he went to begin making arrangements for action.

Emoswa's head rose up with such a sudden swiftness, it seemed as if he were a dog who saw a new visitor walk in the door. He had an idea, that probably wouldn't work, but it never hurt to suggest something. He said "Wait a minute, if she's a canine, than she should still have canine instincts, and perhaps these instincts cannot be resisted. This could be something we could distract her with, and be able to go through the forest safely. Like perhaps a cat, distract her with meat, something like that. She may be a goddess, but because she is a canine, she could still have the same instincts."

Lina stared for a moment. And then laughed. Not really AT Emos-kun, but just at the hilarious idea. "No, no, sorry darling, but that sort of thing wouldn't work. It's like I said - you can't really call her a canine. She may be a fox spirirt, but that's really not the same as being an actual fox. I do know she enjoys a good chase, but she's not ignorant or stupid, nor is she given to being misled easily." Lina explained as she walked over to Emoswa and patted him on the shoulder. "It was a fun idea though. I had the image of her running blindly through the forest just now, chasing a cat, and it was just hysterical~!"

Emoswa acted a fake smile, and despite the praise, did not enjoy being treated as if he were cute. Though the idea of a giant fox spirit chasing a cat was quite amusing, he actually did chuckle himself. However, he would not let one idea such as that keep him from thinking of more plans. He was quite persistant with these things, and especially when his reputation as a respectable swordsman was on the line. He began to return to his carving, and obviously deep in thought. Possible plans scattered through his mind, and each and every one rejected. Then he began to think about a different approach. The gears in his mind began to move.

"Do not worry, I was a runaway from my country for a while, during this time my country intened to level the forest with a enchanted fire. I alerted Vixen and she attacked first so her land was protected. Either way all powerful or not she would probably let us go if we give here a big offering in exchange."

--You stole mah plan! That was what my character was going to do!

Emoswa was quite angry with himself, and easily hid it. He would not be known as a fool, especially not by his own hand. He would find redemption, something no one has ever done. The problem was, thinking of something to redeem himself that is possible, no one has done, and won't get him killed. He repressed, dismissed, and ignored his boiling blood and angry emotions until he could find a plan. For now, he simply carved away, creating quite a unique and curved dagger. Wooden shavings encircled his chair, and he continued to think.

"Basically we are planning a war. The problem is the territory is run by a person named Vixen. Before you ask, no you can't kill here. She is a goddess, even a all powerful cyber vampire can't beat her. Trust me, I saw here fight, she knows S-rank magic. However this may be useful."

Nexev took out a blue coin with a green circle in the center and tossed it on the table. A 3D holographic map of the forest appeared as a projection from the green circle. "Based on FOXHOUND's reports, the army should be this size." A large mass of red dots appeared on the map. "Fighting straight through is not completely crazy but we don't want a high death count on our side so that should be scratched. Several alternates exist. One is to convince Vixen of the Wizard's sinister intent, this may be possible and could let her allow passage across the forest to flank the opponent. However I think we should use a Mobile Grenade Turret to propel reverse gravity grenades into enemy lines. This will fling them off the road. They are pretty much doomed after that. Once the numbers are thinned this way we can have Awesome booby trap the road while the grenade gun was firing and let the traps pick off the remains along with FOXHOUND."
