Chaos Zeros rp [Advanced] -PG 13- [accepting/Started]

As usual, they're underestimating us. The AT field is the supreme trump card in this battle, it seems.

 

"So, in short, you want us to join your army and take refuge within the Dubliette," Misato sighed when the exposition was finally finished. "In that case, it seems we'll turn the tides. Under the condition that you give us full access to the necessary parts and funding to repair the other two Evangelion units, we will join your army of light."

 

"Objections?" she added, producing a walkie-talkie with the tech department on the other end.

 

"None," the children said immediately.

 

"Don't compromise any lower than that," Dr. Akagi warned.

[Shadow Zero]

"You misunderstand me. Whether or not you join is your choice of course, and we'll be only to happy to provide you with what you need." Samus deactivates the hologram and activates the communications device hidden in it. "Zero, I need you to get in touch with Luminus and have him make a whole lot more E.T.M.'s and Octolith keys. Also have him tell us where in this Dubliette the base of operations was moved to so that we can check it out and make sure that everything is in working order."

Zero recieves Samus's message and nods slowly, thinking that maybe the situation was starting go look a little better. "I'll also have him send over some technicians to help with any repairs or upgrades that are needed." Zero says as he motions for Teknus to do so before noticing that he was already in communications with Luminus.

Samus looks over at the the others currently present with her and asks "Is that okay? The Luminoth aren't human, although they bear a slight humanoid appearance. I only ask because I wish to avoid any uncomfortable situations."

OoC: I've played the game; I just started the Wii version of Echoes today, and I've beaten the GC version. It's fun, incidentally, though the bosses are pathetic compared to the other two games, and the beam-ammo system was awkward.

 

IC:

 

"There seems to be little else we can do," Misato pointed out. "The Ing will attack us whether we like it or not. There's no sense denying the extra help."

 

"We'll send the list of parts we know we'll need immediately," the doctor informed them, "though the trouble with EVA is that we never know what to fix." Her last sentence was quite bitter.

 

"Ah, and inform us as soon as another attack mounts," the captain added. "We can prove our confidence in Evangelion then."

[Shadow Zero]

"All right. I would offer the help of out tech expert, but I know that that would make you feel uncomfortable. If one of you would be willing to show me the way out and let me have my weapon back upon my leaving, i would greatly appreciate it. Or was there something more that you wanted to discuss?"

 

"The field appears to be stable, and it looks like it's strong enough."

"Even so Teknus, keep an eye on it. We don't want any unwelcome surprises." As he finishes his sentence, Zero receives a message from Samus that reads 'Help excepted. Will send a list of needed supplies when it has been received.' Nodding his head in affirmation, Zero continues his silent Vigil, awaiting Samus's return.

"Any specifications on our enemies and the nature of the Darkness you could offer would greatly help." Misato was warming up to the ambassador. "If you can give it to us in written or electronic form, we can review it on our own time."

 

Not Soryu, though. "Don't let your guard down," she hissed.

 

"There's nothing she can do here," the captain pointed out, deadpan. Still, she took the Second's advice. "Once we get that set up, we'll have the techies move you out the way you came. You have no reason to know NERV's layout yet."

"About that, i think i might have a theory as to how nerv ended up here in the dubliette. if whatever you were doing coincided with the transfer of our base to here in the Dubliette, that could do it if you were using some type of trans-dimensional tech in the exact same moment that we were. But i agree that i don't need to know the layout of nerv. To be quite honest, i have more then enough to deal with already. By the way Zero, is the field holding?" She spoke the last sentence into the communicator. "Yeah, it looks fine so far. I just hope that the field holds. By the way, have you got the list of supplies they need? The E.T.M.'s and Octoliths are ready, so we just need the list of supplies that we need to bring with us.""Hold on, I just realized something. "Tekknus interrupted the conversation, sounding a little worried, which is rare for him. "If someone was defeated, that would allow for the enemies to get their hands on an octolith key. If the army of darkness somehow managed to recreate the Octolith......" Teknus didn't finish the sentence, but it was enough to shock visibly Shock Samus. she knew that Teknus was right but--

"well then, we'll just have to find a way to integrate it more permanently now won't we? and also, a self destruct protocol wouldn't be a bad idea either. Of course, releasing the Octolith would only happen upon death, so we could modify it so that instead of one of the Octoliths being taken, it detonates,, causing a chain reaction. Or better yet, since the Octoliths are tied directly to the E.T.M.'s now, we could rig the E.T.M. to explode and cause the destruction of the Octoliths as well upon someones death."

Well, that explains a lot.

 

"Ah, here it is." Misato pulled out another device, this one a small cube. She tossed it to the huntress.

 

"That's the stuff we need," she explained. "Now, then, we'll have to get you out of here. Sit tight, 'k?"

 

A black cylinder rose from the ground around Samus. She found her hands being chained to the wall as the cylinder continued rising. Eventually, the chains were released, and she fell onto the newly-formed "floor" of the cylinder.

 

Said pod was obviously moving. She was deposited outside the pyramid in a few minutes.

Samus catches the cube, but then notices a cylinder rising up out of the ground and surrounding her. She barely manages to fire of the grapple beam built into the glove parts of her zero suit and just barely manages to snag her weapons back and grab a hold of it before the cylinder closes off at the top, which is made more difficult by her arms getting pinned in place by the chains. Samus sighs heavily as she thinks do they really think that these chains would hold me if i really wanted to do something to their HQ? Samus arrives outside and snaps the gun in place on the side of her thigh and activates her power suit again so that she can fly straight up to Zero. She gives a brief report before flying off and returning to the portal that leads back to the great temple. Having arrived there, she hands the list of supplies to Luminus who summons a bunch of Luminoth techs to gather the materials and take them over. "I shall personally escort the convoy. Would you mind looking after the Great Temple while I am away?" Samus nods that she will look after the Great Temple until Luminus returns and helps to gather the supplies needed for N.E.R.V. HQ.

"Ryeden look out!!" Said Saruto as he killed 5 more monsters

"So what do we do now?"

"Well, we obviously wait for Samus to return."

"And if she doesn't?

".........You bring up a fair point. We can't very well both be tied here."

"Then why don't you go on ahead Zero? I can handle the field here."

"Yeah, i guess. You do make it your business to know how technology works after all."

"All right then, I'll set up an external shield just in case."

"Don't bother. with how trigger happy the people at nerv are......I might as well go and say hello."

Zero floats down to where the front door is from where he was hovering over the pointed top of the black four-sided pyramid. "Hey, anybody home?" Zero knocked on the front door, or what he thought to be the front door, and waited to see if there would be a response.

OoC: Why bother shooting when the chains had already released?

 

IC:

 

"IF YOU WISH TO CONTINUE NEGOTIATIONS, PLEASE USE THE AMBASSADOR, NOT THE CONQUEROR."

 

"What kind of message was that?" Ritsuko asked dubiously as her comrade cut the voice manipulator. "You've pretty much hidden your sardonic side until now. I thought you wanted to make us sound submissive."

 

"If we're gonna be allies," Misato pointed out, "there's no point in pretending to be something we aren't. They've seen EVA; we have nothing to hide."

 

The irony of that phrase was greatly appreciated by the veteran duo.

"Conqueror?! Hey, wait a second..." Zero backs away from the door a bit and holds his hands up to shoulder height indicating that he meant no harm. "...I don't want to conquer anyone or anything!" Zero was actually quite surprised that they would view him as a conqueror, but when he thought about it, he shouldn't be surprised at that due to his actions from earlier, so he was also surprised at his being surprised.

It closed its deep crimson eyes, exasperated at its rapidly building agenda. Then it stood, ignoring the gash in its side, and began to walk.

but, since you're giving me this, (not that i wanted you to) who thinks i should do a remake thread that picks up where this left off?

oh, and gamemaster, are you going to respond to the last Zero post?

 

ic: Luminus and Samus finish gathering the needed supplies and Samus returns to the main control room in the great temple. I think i'm going to upgrade the weapons systems. If i can incorporate the tech from my suit into weapons here......no, bad idea. If the Ing took control of the weapons, it would be our undoing. Luminus enters the portal and is teleported to the Dubliette along with the other Luminoth. They then take the Alimbian teleportal to the main part of the Dubliette and begin walking towards the central chamber.

OoC: You forget that I have no small amount of influence. It will be simple for me to attract a crowd of considerably better RPers.

"WE REPEAT. ZERO WILL NOT BE PERMITTED WITHIN NERV HEADQUARTERS IF WE HAVE ANY CHOICE IN THE MATTER."

 

"That's rather bold," Ritsuko noted.

 

"EVA is back," Misato replied, deactivating the transmitter. "So long as Shinji can get to her in time, we win."

 

"And if he can't?" the doctor questioned.

 

Her comrade grimaced. "His new quarters are disturbingly close to the cage. Zero would have to teleport in and kill him straight away for us to have no hope at all."

 

"They're not going to do that and have willing followers in NERV," the blonde agreed grimly, rising from her seat. "I'm getting dinner. Call me back if my diplomatic touch is absolutely needed," she added sarcastically.

[Shadow Zero]

"Oh come on!" Zero was quite frustrated, but couldn't blame them for being careful after what he had done. Even so, he was quite frustrated with the current situation. Zero does a deliberate downward fall and lands on the ground in an indian style sitting position exactly where he was standing.

At the same moment, Luminus and the other Luminoth show up at the front gate. As they stop and wait to be granted permission to enter, Luminus looks down and sideways over at Zero who was sitting at his right side. Zero looks over with a sour look and says "Don't even ask." then continues silently sitting where he is.

"PLEASE STEP ONTO THE PANEL AND LEAVE ZERO OUTSIDE."

Its clothing was rather baggy and obviously not meant for those of its gender, but it was used to such attire. It continued walking.

 

The wound wasn't so bad after all. However, the man that had taken it in had insisted on treating it. He was somewhat affluent, and had paid for the minimalistic operations it had requested. It now continued mostly unobstructed.

 

The bad news was, it was in Italy. Fully halfway across the world from Ikari — he was still in Japan, it knew instinctively. In order to reach him, it would need some sort of plane. Even before Impact, when it had wielded apocalyptic power, it wouldn't have been able to cross the world in any reasonable amount of time.

 

A plane seemed the only reasonable way to get in. However, it wouldn't be able to get on without attracting attention; stowing away was out of the question. It would need money... and hope.

 

Some massive, ornate structure had loomed on the horizon for some time now. It advanced towards it.

Luminus raises a questioning eye at Zero who decides to ignore this. He didn't want to do anything that might make things difficult for his fellow warriors, and so decided to walk a short distance away and resume a sitting position with his arms crossed and his eyes closed. might as well get some training done while i wait. Luminus and the other Luminoth step onto the panel and are taken inside of the pyramid, all of them facing straight forward as they traveled as they did not wish to inadvertently look upon something that they weren't supposed to and offend their hosts.

 

ooc: end chapter 2. the story shall continue in the remake as ryeden has decided that it failed and has given control to me. makes me kind of sad, but i will do the best that i can to make it successful. mods, please lock this thread on site. ryeden, if you can see this, then please put the lock notification in the title. i will copy the necessary information for the remake.
