Kaiyen looked around, using his ears as binoculars as he noticed a small trail they had been following leading up a river. Within the distance of the river was a small forest. "I suppose we could go there." He said, pointing to the small forest within the distance. There was bound to be troubles in there, but nothing their team couldn't handle. He sat down, awaiting Aether and Lunette's response.

"No problems." Lunette said as she walked up the hill to the other two.

"So is there anything interesting there that we know of?" she asked. Kaiyen often picked places that looked odd or interesting to him. Generally something stood out.

"Well, when I was walking on my way back from training with those Trainers, I saw a few sparkling lights in the forest. They weren't normal sparkles either. I also saw a lot of strange predicaments happening inside there. Other Pokemon have been running from there like they saw a ghost." He said, rather intrigued with the sight. "What's more, I asked what was going on, but all they could respond with was everything was going 'upside down'." He said, looking very confused.

ooc: No idea! But they do need to get here. Perhaps you should pm them.

 

Ic:"What? Oh... it's nothing. Just thinking." Lunette said. She didn't even know she'd looked concerned. She realized that she'd never told them much about her home and her past. With her response however, she was decently sure that Aether would press the point of what was concerning her.

OOC: I did, although I already told them we had started.

 

IC: "No it is not." He said looking at the forest. "Something is wrong. Just tell us." He turned to look at Lunette, which was odd for Aether. He never looked at people while talking unless it was serious.

"Right.... I was just thinking about my home forest. And the things that happened there awhile ago. The 'turning upside down' made me think of something that happened there." she said. As she didn't want to think back on the distortion of her forest, the destruction of her home, or the severe injury of her father she tried to avoid actually talking about the distortions.

"... If it's anything like what happened in my forest then... there's a lot that could happen. The earth could shake, trees could fall, weather that shouldn't occur ever might occur, you might see things you could only ever imagine, you might get lost, or end up in a different place entirely. And...... pokemon could get injured... or worse." Lunette said recalling all the things the distortions did to her family and their neighbors.

Bio: Yazoo is a mysterious young Psyduck, who really doesn't know much about the world. He prefers to eat rather than fight, and will sleep when he wants.

Personality: Takes things easy but gets really mad when instigated. Cares for his friends like a jolly fat man (Which he is.) and will give alot to protect them.

"I'm sorry Aether, I didn't want to worry you. It's just the thought wouldn't leave my mind and if either you got hurt and I could've prevented it..." Lunette said looking down. She was on the verge of tears but was set not to cry. She clearly didn't like remembering the time when her forest was distorted.

"Anyway, let's go check this place out. Let's at least see if we can help the pokemon there." Lunette said trying to get her mind off of things.

A small snore filled the air near a big oak tree. Leaning against it's golden brown trunk was a duck-like creature, a Psyduck. The Psyduck snored in the midday sun, small rays of light hitting his orange bill. In the oak above him, a little white and blue squirrel was trying to grab an acorn. It was a little Pachirisu, and a hungry one at that. It tapped the acorn, breaking it off the branch. It tumbled down the tree and smacked the Psyduck in the head.

"Yooowwww! Who wakes Yazoo!" Yazoo quacked, trying to sound menacing. He looked up at the Pachirisu, which blow a raspberry at the stunned duck. "That's mean... Your mean!" Yazoo ran off crying into the woods, heading towards an even heavier snoring...
