Tentacruel
Yeah, I'm glad I already have the requirements to do that. I hate last minute grinding for quests.
Vough
I kind of hate how everything they're releasing requires LV70+ skills. LV50+ please?
Phantom Roxas
Visit the RS forums. It's far more of a trainwreck that people accuse YCM of being, and there is quite the divide between whether or not more mid-level content should be released. Also, pillars. Pillars are now a meme on the forums. If you've completed Salt in the Wound, you know why.
Tentacruel
People usually rage when mid-level or low-level content is released. Gotta keep the vets happy I guess.
Death Metal
I was pissed when I got back on the site for the first time in months. Mostly because the Dragonfire Shield I bought for 30m is now 11m. Damn... D:

Black W Mage
just joined recently, I got this Santa Hat thingy, how much is it worth?
Resident Fascist
just joined recently, I got this Santa Hat thingy, how much is it worth? Click your armour page, then click the money bag to bring up the Price Checker. If it's what I think it is, it's a rare dropped for Christmas in 2002 and then never dropped again. As such, they're about 150M. They're the cheapest rares, IIrc
Phantom Roxas
Branches of Darkmeyer this week, and I'm just one level away from the 67 Slayer requirement, but my current task is Dagannoths. What's the fastest way to level up Slayer?
Tentacruel
The fastest way to level up slayer? Just use the highest slayer master you can.
Phantom Roxas
I'm using Lapalok. I'll just wait a couple days for the next Troll Invasion.

Phantom Roxas
Well, now I got to kill 41 black dragons, but that won't get me 67 Slayer. I'm seriously jealous of everyone who can do the quest tomorrow.
Lunar Origins
If only I had enough dedication to play this game again... after about 93 fishing, I stopped. I'm a bit angry about the fact that THERE ARE NO QUESTS FOR LOW LEVEL PEOPLE WORTH DOING.
Icy
Iirc, most activities are perfect for the mid-level range. So having quests there wouldn't do much imho, and it allows a buffer period where a person can choose their skill specification or whatever at their own leisure. So it seems kinda silly to add the content for that range beyond obvious scaling equipment or gear requirements/perks to help this along. @Lunar: There's actually quite a bit for newbies now, and leveling is much faster than what it used to be. Though those quests are more or less for levels 1-15 on most skills and after that it's 30-70 as far as requirements go, it's not that bad at all. I bought enough fish to go from 60-70 cooking easily and that's without the Cooking Vases or whatever I've made to make it slightly faster. The cash for it was earned ridiculously fast too, if you know what you're doing.

Icy
Profits from cooking is very very very minute. But I don't make money that way, I make money by skilling WC and selling crushed birdnests + Valuables in them, and converting maple into planks. I'm training cooking to 70 so I burn stuff less and can raise Agility easier, as well as any impromptu quest requirements. There's roughly a 4x gain, from the cost of trading sticks to total conversion and selling afterwards.
Lunar Origins
As soon as I got on and started chopping Ivy, I got a Spirit Seed. Not sure if that's good or bad at this point...

Phantom Roxas
The quest isn't out yet. I'm still trying to access the forums to see if there will even be an update today. IT IS OUT.
Phantom Roxas
Vanstrom is a tough boss, and the battle cost me quite of equipment. Now I know how unprepared for Nomad I am. Ritual of the Mahjarrat is this month, and a Bonus XP Weekend is next week. I'll probably use that weekend to train for RotM and A Clockwork Syringe. Maybe Nomad's Requiem, although I already have enough big bones to get 70 Prayer.
