Chaos Flame
My bro runs a Crystal Beast deck and uses a strategy that Stardust Accelerator won't let you use. I was wondering which is right.1. CB's effects can activate while they are Spells (ex. summon pegasus, play eagle, send pegasus back to deck)2.Crystal beasts effects only work as monster.I'm leaning towards the first, but I am open to suggestions. Chaos Flame
Ok, but why?
-Griffin
Because their effects are monster effects. If they had effects as a Spell, they would say "put this card into a Continuous Spell Card with the effect, 'X'" or something.

Guest PikaPerson01
Ok' date=' but why?[/quote'] Honestly, just a pinch of critical thinking could have answered this question. <_< Pegasus: "When this card is Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned, or Special Summoned, you can place 1 "Crystal Beast" monster from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard, face-up in your Spell & Trap Card Zone; it is treated as a Continuous Spell Card." When a card is being placed onto your spell and trap card zone, is that considered a Normal, Flip, or Special Summon? Mammoth: "When a face-up "Crystal Beast" monster you control is selected as an attack target, you can change the target to this card." Can monsters in the S/T zone be declared legal targets? Tiger: "If this card attacks an opponent's monster, it gains 400 ATK during the Damage Step only." Cat: "This card can attack your opponent directly. When it does so using this effect, any Battle Damage it inflicts to your opponent is halved" Can S/Ts declare an attack? Carbuncle: "When this card is Special Summoned, you can Special Summon as many "Crystal Beast" cards as possible from your Spell & Trap Card Zone." Is placing a card on your S/T zone considered a special summon? The only ones you could probably make a reasonable case of confusion on is Tortoise and Eagle.
