DL
Naruto is amazing? Good one. Anyway, I suddenly have a great appreciation for what anime used to be. They used to have messages, you know? Like when Naruto kept getting up in his fight with Neji. He wanted to show that even a failure could beat a genius. When Rock Lee fought Gaara in the Chuunin Exams Preliminaries, in episode 50-52, it showed how hard he worked, and how badly he wanted to prove how someone with no ninjutsu or genjutsu could be a splendid ninja.... These were amazing messages.... Why is it Naruto stopped this message of hard work, and never giving up...?
Fusion X. Denver
DL, because Sasuke left Konoha and Madara decided to be a douche and embark on a quest to spread his tyranny across the ninja world Is why
Flash Flyer - Sakura
^Perhaps with his maturity, he lost that drive to encourage people to succeed^ EDIT: And b/c Sasuke ditched Konoha

Spirit of DMG
Yaoi-Kun: Because they didn't need Shippuden for that.Fuse: Spilled Sundae? What?
El Make
DL, just because you don't like, doesn't mean it's not amazing... I'll just resort to what I did in 8th grade... I like it, so funk off....
Fusion X. Denver
Naruto will continue to do what he used to when he brings Sasuke back to KonohaIs what I thinkAnd being a Hokage will force him to act so anyway
Flash Flyer - Sakura
I can't wait for that to happen. But chances are, Sasuke is not even gonna listen and go on with destroying everything
DL
But I much prefered Naruto before Shippuden. I mean, sure, Shippuden had the story, but that's all it had. name ONE fight in Shippuden that was as epic as Rock Lee vs. Gaara, Sasuke vs. Naruto, Neji vs. Naruto, etc.... Flash Flyer - Sakura
Does Sasuke v. Itachi count as epic fight in Shippuden?

Fusion X. Denver
Naruto vs PainSasuke vs DeidaraMaybe?
DL
Itachi vs. Sasuke had NO message, except for the end, where Itachi spared Sasuke, but too lose. Sasuke vs. Deidara had NO message. Naruto vs. Pain....no. The fight itself was kinda good, but there was NO message. Seriously, NONE of the fights in Shippuden touched me emotionally AT ALL. but Rock Lee vs. Gaara, man, that made me cry every time I saw it... Flash Flyer - Sakura
Maybe one of the later fights in Shippuden will satisfy you, but depends.
El Make
What about Naruto's fight to bring Gaara back when he was kidnapped by the Akatsuki?
Fusion X. Denver
DLWhy do fights need to have points to them when they can be epic instead?Sure, epic fights are even better with emotional messages in them, but all fights said were good fights
El Make
Fuse, if Naruto was all fights and no emotion behind it, it would suck.... The only time I cried was when I first saw Naruto vs Sasuke. T-T

Spirit of DMG
Yaoi-Kun, you just posted the same message. Twice. And, fights don't have to have a message to be good. Yeah, a message makes things better, but it's not necessary. Yes, there was a lot of chasing, but, there was somewhat of a fight succeeding the pursuit.
