Here's Why Itachi would win- Genjutsu.

 

Pain's blind spot is actually his sight. He sees through all of his bodies at once. All the easier to put in Tsukuyomi.

 

@Dl: CENTRAL. As in, the story REVOLVES around his existence somewhat? He's pretty much as important as NAruto. No, moreso.
