There is an easy solution to all your problems. Change the rules' date=' and enforce them on everyone.

Must contain the following three requirements:

 

• You must provide the Author of the Thread with a reason as to why his/her card(s) have errors. Whether it be with OCG, or Playability.
  
• You must provide the Author of the Thread with an explanation of how to fix these problem(s).
  
• Your post(s) cannot be less then two complete sentences.
  

 

If the post(s) venture off those three requirements, in anyway the post(s) will be deleted. If said action(s) continue the member is warned. If the member is banned due to a warning breaking these rules, his or her next offense will be a ban consisting of X Amount of Days. If further action is required, said member will be banned indefinately.[/i]

 

You want members to follow rules? Enforce the rules on everyone, no leniency. You have to show that no member get's special treatment, even if it is your best bud. You have to show that no member get's cruel or unusual punishment, even if you loath the person to no end.

 

 

Take what I said into consideration. Use it, don't use it, it doesn't matter to me. Your rules in Custom Cards are too lenient, and far from equal. This is why you are having problems keeping people under control, this is why you are having problems with this ragnorok person.

Dj, you're a CC mod. Same as Yankee, Icy, myself, J-Max and everyone else. (mildly excluding Hioco and Umbra for the global moderation thing) You can do things, but we're a team. Teamwork is good for success, no?

I will admit, I'm very hardheaded when it comes to RC, but I see the problems. Raver wants to help, who am I to take that away from him and us all? But as I said, make sure we all talk first, and come to one big mutual conclusion before ANYTHING is implemented.

Now this isn't direct toward you per say, just anyone saying that banning ragnorok was good and justified. I am not argueing against that, I am going to show you flaws in your judgement.

 

The posts below, are all on the first page of Realistic cards, in a combined total of 7 threads, Seven Threads.

You say ragnorok is flooding? Each member I have quoted below, has posted the same and less then ragnorok, yet they haven't been banned.

If you aregoing to give cruel and unusual punsihment to one person for doing something, then give the same cruel and unusual punishment to all those who act the same.

 

Don't tell me this case is more severe, the only reason it has gotten this "severe" is because a member was continouly followed and picked out as doing the wrong thing, and while this was happening everyone was doing the same thing and getting away with it. The only reason this seems bigger is because of the actions that have taken place between a single member.

If you are going to rule over your Forum do it with equality. If you cut a mans hand off for stealing make sure each man that steals has his hand cut off.

This isn't kindergarten, you don't favor people, you make sure they equal protection as everyone else.

 

I bring up these posts as a call to action. You are sitting here complaining about one person when there is an entire Forum full or members doing the exact same thing. Get off your high horses and do something about it.

 

Note: Moderators left this thread open, so my opinion is appreciated. Do not attack me saying that I am just a member who am I to say things to Moderators. Need I remind you that no one locked the thread?

I am neither attacking anyone, nor am I being beligerent. I am trying to help solve a problem that no one seems to agree upon. Therefore you need a nuetral source to help mediate your problems.

To put it into true words is pointless. If one guy posts "this guy is cool" and another guy posts "Yeah, I agree with you, I believe this guy is pretty cool" without quoting him, these two people are saying the same thing, yet they're also putting it into their 'true words'. Ugh, horrible misuse of commas there on my behalf. Saying 'this' is really spam, although it's a one-word post it basically means that they were going to post something but someone said it before them. It doesn't really constitute as copy/paste, in all honesty.

Anyway, because he wants it open is irrelevant to my opinion. I don't agree with him on everything, and this one of those things. He might not mind it, but I'm not just going to sit here while everyone decides this is a "diss Icy thread". It's best to be left open, I guess, because it promotes freedom of speech (something rare on this board), but it's pretty much a thread to bash Icy and any decisions he makes, and I don't like it.
