No one answered my comment. Why is it bad that the Wii has bad graphics? Gameplay is one thing, but as long as you can see who is on your team, who is not on your team, and what gun is on the ground, there is no difference between playing on the PS3 or XBOX360 or Wii. If the graphics were NES graphics, then you may have trouble exactly knowing what the hell you are doing, and that is where it interferes with the gameplay. Otherwise, graphics are purely meaningless.

Because their is none. Really, nothing about the Wii's takes a way from the games. Hell, as I said, the Wii graphics aren't in the least bad, just not as good as the other 2.

I'm fairly sure that you need USB-connected keyboards for the PS3 and XBOX360, much like the Wii. And even if they have their own keyboards, they are likely to be sold seperately and thus should not really be considered.

Because unless you can count the number of nose hairs on every single character, regardless of whether or not they have a nose, the game sucks. That's the logic for people who only care about graphics, apparently.

This topic is a good read. My angry rants are the best.

So after looking this over this seems to be the general though.

1: PS3

2: Wii

3) 360

I find all the 360 hate in this thread funny since most people I know love it.

And since I still hate the word graphics when used to put down the Wii.

I was having a discussion (or rather, a "console war") with twenty other people, and this was the best argument.

"I don't like the Wii, and I think it's the worst console, because I don't like most of the games on it."

...

While that is a pretty stupid reason, it pretty much told everyone that we have different opinions. loleyeopener

I vow never to take part in console wars again, lest I be confronted with twenty idiots. :3

Great news, Xbox360 owners! Starting in November 1, you get to pay an extra 10$ to be called gay by a twelve year old!

Since I didn't get to post in that one thread, I'm posting here. D:

I'm going to quote Flame Dragon's post since he had the last words. ;D

The thing that makes the PS3 the better buy and over all the better system is that the exclusives it has are better over all (as well as more varied) as well as the fact that the bulk of the 10% or so game the 360 has that the PS3 doesn't can be gotten for PC.

I only have two problems with this paragraph. One, is that you say the PS3 exclusives are better and more varied. Given, the 360 does one genre in particular really well, and that would be FPS games, that does not mean it can't do other games really well, as showed in Alan Wake, Limbo, Shadow Complex, Mass Effect, etc. Second, many gamers, myself included, can't afford to run PC games that well. To maintain your PC to make sure that it is able to run the games you want to play can be expensive and difficult for some to do.

The very reason I think the 360 is worthless is because almost all of the games it has can be gotten on another system to a similar effect. If you like 360, that's all fine and good since it does have other things to offer that the other console competitors don't, that being the great online experience, but that only gets it so far, especially when you need to pay for it.

That was a major assumption. Where is the proof that "almost all" of it's games can be gotten on other systems? On the next subject, really, you're not paying much. Think about it, most regular 360 systems only cost around $200 or less. Paying $50 for Live for a year only brings you to $250, with a lot of the same games and some neat exclusives, not to mention the significantly better online experience, where as the the PS3 is $300. (I've heard from PS3 gamers that most wouldn't mind paying for a better internet experience. Apparently, it can get bad.)

Really everything is a matter of preference.

Want a great online experience & love FPSes: 360

Want a wide range of good exclusive and multi-platform games: PS3

Also while I like Wii best, imo the PS3 s the best all around since it has a good exclusive line up and gets all the good multi-platform games. The 360 is a one-trick pony imo and the Wii gets the shaft out side of it's exclusive line up.

How does this make sense whatsoever? Think about it, you just said PS3 gets all the good multi-platform games, which means the 360 is going to have the exact same game. 360 is not a one trick pony, tbqh, and the Wii gets bad rep because really, most of the games fail to utilize all the elements of a game correctly. Take Metroid: Other M for example. I played that at a friend's house the other day. The graphics TOTALLY took advantage of the Wii's potential, and in a Metroid game, that should've happened. On the other hand, the story was lackluster, and the gameplay was excruciating at times. Firing missiles is an all around pain, and the aiming system is so tedious at times. For real, a lot of the games just fail to take advantage of the Wii's potential, and that's where it falls.

So yah.

tbqh I'm not sure how much it costs t have a good PC for gaming, but the fact remains that a lot of what would other wise be exclusive to the 360 can be gotten on PC meaning they aren't true exclusives. TAG's computer is crap but he's still able to run steam games well enough so it can't be that hard to get a decent gaming computer.

The list of games you made has 2 PC games and 1 of the others is a shooter (granted a 3rd person one based on what gamefaqs tell me) but a shooter nonetheless. I personaly can't think of many true exclusives one the 360 that aren't you running around with a gun. Granted it may just be me, but meh what can you do. But I do know such games exist. Fabled is a great example and so is Dead Rising.

I've spent a fair amount of time looking into the big name 360 games as well as have many friends with a 360. From what I saw when I looked stuff up and looked at there game libraries most could be gotten on another system.

$50 (I think the raised it to $60, but I might be wrong) isn't much but when you keep paying it it becomes a problem for those that wouldn't want to really abuse it. But since most people that play 360 abuse it's live to the fullest it isn't that much of a problem.

The multi-platform fact makes it better then the Wii. As I said the Wii gets next to none of the multi-platform games.

If you remove live from the 360 it losses A LOT of it's selling points imo. When it's success is built on one thing I'm going to call it a one trick pony. The fact that the bulk of my friends only play it for it's shooters and the other games they play can be played on another system doesn't help.

You don't play Nintendo games for their story. Really each stand alone Metroid games story isn't the best from what I can tell, and even then I think it was how cliche it was (but my memory might be off one that). From what I've heard and read I think people dislike the characters and how they sold Samus more then anything. I can't comment on the gameplay but from what I've seen people have mixed feelings. Some hate it some love it so it's hard to get a feel on what the game is. In the end based on all the review it's still a solid game. When you say A LOT are you including the Shovelware? Not counting all that crap most of the games that were made with care have ended up coming out really well. Just look at my list of good Wii games a few pages back. If you're to lazy the list number more then 20 exclusives and it's still growing.

I think that Wii is the most creative console till now.

PS3 is the coolest console (in my opinion)

But who misses those old graphics from PS1 and 2 ?

I thinks PS1 should come back with full power !

PS1 RULES FOREVER ! ! !

if you disagree, answer me ?

--If there wasn't a PS 1, would there be a PS3 ?
