PS3 when it first came out, was terrible. No backward compatibility, super expensive, with no decent games on it :/

360 has some good games, but Microsoft is still new to the console industry...and Xbox's are notorious for crashing.

PS3 has been slashing prices, however, and are releasing better games. Their turning the console around...it will probably overtake the xbox in world sales (maybe not in US, where xbox is mainly sold).

Ofc, Wii has dominated this generation of console like nobody's business (LOL!)

But really, gaming consoles are a matter of taste and preference...can't we all get along? (LOL!) :P

Lol

But yeah, PS3 foreverz. We have Killzone, Resistance, God of War and other great exclusives. The only good 360 Exclusives I can think of are Gears of War and Halo =/

But if you want to talk about exclusives/franchises, then Nintendo still wins :P

Zelda, Metroid, Mario, Pokemon....

Your smart. I like you :D

But thing is, Nintendo's graphics are poor compared to that of the Ps3's and the 360's. It doesn't matter if they have 1,000,000 different exclusives, graphics are important and they haven't focused on that as much.

Eh.....I'm not sure, TBQH. Both are good systems. Both have their share of exclusives that appeal to many people. 360 has better online, but you have to pay for it. I dunno. Both seem pretty good in my eyes. I guess it all boils down to personal preference. Which is a bit out of my jurisdiction, seeing as how I own neither console.

If they had a million different GOOD (and varied as well, we can't have 1,000,000 Mario or Zelda games, now can we?) exclusives, no one would give two ****s about any other gaming company. PERIOD.

Graphics are the last thing game designers should worry about :(

Gameplay and storyline both take much more importance over something silly like graphics....as long as its fun, who cares how blocky the characters look, right??? :P

PS3>Xbox 360>Wii

PS3 is not a video game system. It goes waaaaay beyond that. It's a freaking home entertainment system. You can video chat, you can install a separate operating system, which allows you to use it as a computer, you can surf on the Internet with it, you can play online for free, it has a game roster that is now currently overpowering the 360's, you can play radio on it, you can control it and get exclusives to any games with your PSP, and a lot of people own PSPs, You can print stuff from it, you can take screenshots and upload them as a background, you can put on separate themes that actually make every icon unique, you can download DVDs, you can watch blu-ray, and a whole bunch of other stuff I don't have the time to get into right now. The PS3 also has the grandest graphics.

360 just lost it's only advantage, which was the game roster, to PS3.

Although the Wii has a few exclusive franchises, it's graphics suck, and the only unique game worth playing on it that you won't get sick of after awhile is SSBB. And that's going to die out as soon as the various customizations you can haxx on it run out, and people get bored with it.

I'll give to Nintendo that they have the DS, and that somewhat competes with a PSP, but just like the PS3, the PSP can do more...

The above is totally opinion, stop trying to sound smart.

I'm guessing you don't a XBox, but own a PS3.

PS3 has free interwebs' date=' and graphics

360 has more games to choose from, and out a year early

Wii is cheapest, but most games are crap.

It's a toss-up, people.

Right now, there is no dominant system.

Each has their flaws.

[/quote']

WRONG!!!

Wii has just as many good games as the PS3 and 360. And guess what, most of those are exclusive. So that gives the Wii a HUGE selling point.

STFU. As soon as you said "graphics" I wanted to hit you though the internet. GRAPHICS MEAN NOTHING!!! People need to learn this fact. They are eye candy only. Are the Wii's graphics as good as the 360 or PS3's, no, but are they bad, by no means. They are PS2 level, and last I checked that system had good graphic.

Also learn to look things up. The Wii has a large libary of good games. And unlike the PS3, most of them are only on the Wii. And unlike the 360 most of them aren't shooters.

The simple fact is their is none are best. The Wii has great exclusives but doesn't have the multiplatform games. The 360 has great online, but it's games are limited. The PS3 has a much shorter list of good exclusives, but the ones it has are varied and it also has the multiplatform games.

The PSP is a not good in terms of it being a gaming system. Yea as a multi media system it is good, but if I want something that can play games, music and shows I'll use my iPod.

The DS has a huge number of great titles that cover many different styles of gaming

Another of my many arguments

Their is no "best." It's all a matter of what kind of games you like.

Wii: Not counting all the half ass party games just a general system. It has a good verity of good titles most of which cover many different genres. If I’d pin one genre to it I'd say it's the more of an action adventure system' date=' but again it's hard to say since the good games do cover many bases, I'd even say of the 3 it's the hardest to pick the genre that stands out best. Another plus is most of it's good games (of which it does have many) are exclusive giving it a huge selling point.

360: It's an online system. Really, take away Live and it's a shadow of it's current self. That being said most of the good exclusives are FPSs or some kind of shooter and so make for great online games. One of it's major problems is the 50% failure rate. Even with newer models fixing the major problems, they still fail.

PS3: Like the Wii it's more a general system. It has a wide verity of games, but I'd say the RPGs are still the PS's main focus. It's one problem is that a lot of it's good titles are also on the 360 so it's main selling point is the exclusives (of which it has less stand outs then the 360, however it has several good ones on the horizon).

Since I can get into them

DS: Like the Wii has many good games that cover many different genres.

PSP: It's a multi medi system. As far as games go, it has very few good, stand out ones. It makes up for this with by being able to watch movies and play music.
