Tabris
Let's talk about a credible nu-metal band for once, shan't we?
Thewho
Did you just say that Nine Inch Nails are NU METAL? PLEASE tell me I took your words out of context!
Tabris
Did you just say that Nine Inch Nails are NU METAL? PLEASE tell me I took your words out of context! No, you didn't. And, if I misrepresented 'em as nu-metal (though for the life of me, I don't know how I got that wrong, for I check stridently enough), could you please tell me what genre they are? The Dark One
NIN is hardly even Industrial Metal. It's got more of a rock-base. Industrial Metal is stuff like Mushroomhead, Ministry (which sucks, btw), Circus of Dead Squirrels, Psyclon Nine, Ventana, etc. NIN is excellent, but Trent Reznor's voice is beyond the most far-reaching descriptions of terrible. At least he doesn't really even try to sing. He just breathes with a little bit of tune.

They are more Alternative than Industrial for sure, though.
