yeah, i guess im the one comin' up w/weird contest ideas, but im just cool like that okay? so no questions asked.

 

The EAT club (reference in my sig) is holding an editing contest

 

This contest is for editing. If you wanna join, you PM me or Post (the first is much more preferable, and btw wanna be buddies?). I will give you one of three cards i have designed (I'll prol'ly post them as well when i have time later) and you'll need to edit it based on a few things:

• Grammar
  
• How aesthetic (beautiful) the card looks (colors, pictures, font, names, this takes a little more thinking)
  
• type, attribute, ATK, DEF, card code, etc. (basically the extras)
  

 

This is also an everybody-wins contest. You edit well, and we give you reps. Reps go as this:

• ALL GRAMMAR IS CORRECTED: 1 Rep. if most of it is correct, then a certain number of pts is awarded
  
• AT LEAST THREE WAYS TO IMPROVE THE BEAUTY OF THE CARD (pic ideas/sites, different card types like spell or trap, different names, changed rarities, etc.): 1 Rep. if fewer ways are provided or some of them suck, pts will be rewarded
  
• MOST OF THE EXTRA'S SHOULD BE FIXED/BALANCED OUT (like ATK and DEF-wise. you can't balance out a copyright date, but make sure that the date is 2007, cause that's when the cards were made. things like those) 10 pts. if all the extras are perfected (and we doubt it) you'll get another rep.
  

 

Another thing: Finding or coming up w/original ideas is hard. The EAT club realizes that and will reward creative ideas (like things we hadn't thought of before) w/another rep. So this makes this a max 4 rep reward (of course, you could come up w/more original ideas)

 

Those who excel at this competition will be invited into the hold of the EAT club because we're looking for good editors and good OCG cards. So this message should be sent out to all to-be-editors on the site:
