@Aqua

Close, but not quite.

A Wyvern is a close relative of the Dragon, it is also related to the bird as its body is covered in feathers rather than scales and they usually lack the intelligence of a dragon. Wyverns lack the ability to use magic and are only capable of basic speech. There are Wyverns with no front legs and there are Wyverns that walk on all fours. Most people claming to have seen a Dragon attack a village, have in fact seen a Wyvern instead due to the fact that the village was not burned to the ground.

@Gefhx

I meant that you failed the test.

your going to have to do better, but at least you got your textbook. Several pieces of the information in that book are correct, but there are also some misconceptions. Such as the Wyverns being considered a sub-family of the Dragon, when in fact Wyverns wern't discovered until late 12th century whereas the earliest spotting of a Dragon recorded was a charred piece of paper found to be written during the 5th century.

@Aqua

Dragons existed long before dinosaurs. Several enchanted artifacts and gems have been found thats magics appear to be older than we could possibly imagine. Now while Magic is available to us humans, and it can be increased with the use of Dragon artifacts such as Amulets this magic is far to powerful for even the order of the red robes to be able to sustain. It is definatly Dragon in origin and its magics predate the oldest of Saurian Spell books.

I've only ever played 1 game of D&D and thats not where I got that from. I'm being quite serious about the order. Honestly I prefer to stay away from them though. As a Dragonology Advanced Reasearcher (or DAR for short) I specialize in Dragon Magics, Dragon thought patterns, Dragon Artifacts, and Dragon-related creatures.

I know' date=' but in order to understand the power of dragons you must also study the results of Dark Magic when used on them. Not all Dracoliches are dead Dragons, a Dragon affected by an immense power of Drak Magic will mecome a Dracolich, or worse, A Great Dracowyrm.[/quote']

Um no.

It's actually both.

A Undead dragon is an nundead dragon.

A dracolich requires the dragon to store his soul in a phylactery (or something impossible to spell) and then drink he dracolich brew (which is VERY poisonus).

That's why they are dracoLICHES, a lich is a person who divided thier soul to prolong life, such a feat makes them undead.

However an immense amount of dark power is needed to become a Dracolich, they are the worst of all dragonkind.

With a few exceptions granted to individuals even worse. Plus thier is occasions were the Dracolichdom is forcced upon the dragon by a powerful necromancer.

They are both dragons and undead, however they would be a zombie card as a undead Beserk Dragon was made, one that was a Zombie synchro.

I know I play D&D (which researches allot to mak thier information) read the Dracomorocium two times and Races of dragons.

Plus I read a bit of the Libris Mortis.

And I know a thing about Liches.

@Aqua: Anybody who laughs at DnD but Roleplays are the biggest hypocrite I know. Or just don't like how you can't make a balanced party when one character is possesed by a godlike character.

Psuedo Science FTW. What's with all this talk about Dragons and why did nobody include me in it?

I don't think I've ever known anyone who's into dragons like you are creator. I kinda lol at the magic thing though. Heh.... mans dream to control forces it doesn't understand..... We're gonna kill ourselves aren't we?

Aqua Girl: You don't need to play D&D in order to be interested in dragons. Never played it once in my life. I've seen it once but I've never played it and I know I'm probably going to be called a hypocrite for this but when I saw it for the first time, I really didn't like it.

Actually I'm interested in this conversation. I know most of you guys will probably jaw drop in this but even though I love dragons I know only the basic stuff about them.... A little bit about wyverns as well. In my excuse though I had no idea how deeply delved this subject is. They really write books about even the fictional stuff. I should head to my library right now just to find one.

yes, i suppose you should. and creator, apparently you and matthew have met before. he said something about getting into huge arguments with you before due to your thinking that you knew stuff about dragons, but not really knowing as much as you thought you did and matthew having had long arguments with you as a result of that. he wonders if you have actually grown and learned at all since the last time that he had spoken with you.
