Dismal Euphony
Be realistic' date=' if you can use a computer and register here, you aren't an idiot. -_-[/center'] I beg to differ. Have you seen some of the people that post here? I would use my *cough[insert member here]cough*, but looking at my recent past, it'll get me banned... Screw it. *coughkittyprincesscough* I was thinking it, but you said it.
Amethyst Phoenix
Most of them deserve it. By being idiots. So by that logic' date=' we have to be harsh to new members whom need help getting started? So what about the members who know what they should do, but don't do it? Key example those whom troll and yet complain when they get reprimanded, yet they continue to do it. You know, this reminds me of when I got my first puppy. It pooped all over the place, and my dad being the strict man he is took the dogs nose and stuck it in the poop. The dog never pooped again after that. A couple years later the dog started to scratch off the wall paper, so again my dad being the strict man he is dumped a bucket of ice cold water on the dog whenever he started to scratch the wall paper. The dog never again scratched the wall paper. A year later the dog jumped out the window towards someone who had rang the doorbell. My dad being the strict man he is, put the dog to sleep. Are you beginning to catch my drift? I so hope I don't have to dumb it down for such an established member such as yourself.[/quote'] There's a fine line between the person who posts attachments and doesn't grasp OCG the first time, and this person: So herez mai god crd. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~` You gaiz are mean~!!!@1121!!! (In response to any criticism) I don't think I have to point out which is the idiot >_> You apparenly did not catch what I was talking about. I was stating that if you are going to punish new people because they are aparent idiots then you should also punish those whom know they are suppose to follow the rules, but do not. i.e. Trollers/Spammers/Flamers etc.. We don't? Some people get banned like twice a week for those reasons.

What good does it do to ban someone over and over, just to have them come back and do it again? Baseball comes to mind here..
QuimicVital
But after a lot of bannings, they get perma'd.
Muluck
But after a lot of bannings' date=' they get perma'd.[/quote'] Do they? Members brag about having been bannd 4 or 5 times. Yet they are not, why is the number of allowed ban's so high?
Huntar!
Yes, but if we aren't, then they'd never learn.
QuimicVital
But, it seems they will never learn, i'm sure 70% of the YCM population thinks that.
☨Genocide ☨
I think so, but I guess its a "purifying" proccess. If we treat them nicely and cushin them with love, theyll be flamed badly when they grow out of the newb stage. Only the strong who can take a litlle criticism can stay.
