I used to be really skeptical to the point where I was almost an atheist. But once I actually started praying for things to happen' date=' and it happened, I believe in God with all my heart and soul. No doubt in my mind. He just gives you what you prayed for, in the opposite way of how you asked for it. Kinda like a genie. But still. I am a Christian.

And when things start going wrong there's no god anymore?

If I'm lucky, so be it. But I'm usually not very lucky whatsoever. And I'll keep praying I guess. In the hopes that something will happen. Something always does.

I asked for looks, god gave me scars

Those who suffer know shall be shown healing later. Which isn't just a saying comparing Heaven and Earth. Ever heard of the classic "Big popular high schooler" beating up "Little weak nerd that ends up being a billionare, that ends up employing the big popular high schooler."?

 

Yeah, this happens not only from Earth to Heaven but from other points in your life.

 

I am a Christian, and I don't see how it's creepy.

No. Only the people who stepped on other people to get their popularity, those who decided to waste their future on making sure they are cool, rather than focusing on other things. Those who have decided to focus on the things they should have, they will be rewarded.

 

Also, it was kind of a theory. Which apparently, may be wrong.

No it's not.

It's a perfectly valid, quite common belief nowadays. Christian morality but god is dead or never existed.

there may be more than 2 religions but i think Jesus said it best

Matthew 7: 13-14,

13 Enter through the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and spacious and broad is the way that leads away to destruction, and many are those who are entering it.

14 But the gate is narrow and the way is straitened and compressed that leads away to life, and few are they who find it.

 

there are two gates one for those who accept Jesus as the savior and the other broader one for THOSE WHO REJECT SALVATION through Jesus

Jesus prayed for the cup to be taken of him and still took it, why, to glorify God. Isaiah 43:21 we are created to glorify Him

the bible says He is willing that all be saved but He wont drag anyone kicking and screaming into heaven

 

if you truly believe that God is out to get you or that He has forgotten about you, im sorry but your mistaken , dont get me wrong i sympathize with you cause i got my fair share of problems aswell but you must realize He doesn't wait hand and foot on us we are HIS creation not the other way around we were created for His glory
