There are religions other than Christianity

^This.

THIS.

I think this thread is a bit stupid. It sounds as if the world was divided into Atheism and Christianity but all the other religions don't count.

And what about Christian Atheists?

Really' date=' it's not that simple.:/

I am a full Atheist. I only believe in what I see.

This means... ya know.

About this sentence, it could also be what a Deist or Pantheist could say. Or someone who believes into one of the religions which worship Mother Nature. Since nature is what you see.

But I understand what you mean though, you just got me a little confused here.;)

It's the lack of a personified deity you can see that convinced you.

Also I see something coming here.:/

I thought the Reverse Horus thread already settled that :]

Anyway' date=' Christian on the verge of Atheism. Starts to change when you live with two atheist family members :3

Stick with it.

I'm a Christian. I hope it's obvious.

As an atheist, the latter. And I see your point. But Atheism, unlike religion, doesn't have a set chronology of events that happened. It is based on theories, which seems to be most logical/reasonable and has the most scientific evidence. The "big bang" and evolution for example. Seem logical, there is evidence.

Yeah, I pretty much agree with atheism, as at least the gods most people think exist don't make much sense logically or morally for that matter. But the ever-existent idea of uncertainty means that to say something is absolutely true isn't the correct stance to take. You can firmly believe in something, but in the end being Agnostic seems like the sensible standpoint. If we're going by what you believe to be so I's either be an atheist, but perhaps even then I would be agnostic.
