Blackstone Dresden
And then there are things like Cutemon and Sparrowmon, that, while looking (in the case of the former, at least) and sounding definitively female, are in fact male. At least, until the dubbers get their hands on them.
The Warden
Actually, that is the case for many different anime Dresden.
Blackstone Dresden
I know. I just watched most of Buso Renkin over the past couple days, believe me, I know. F*cking Papillon.
The Warden
I have no idea what that is. But, the next episode. Taichi and the Technicolour Monitamon *groans* Though, form what I gather, the zone is called the 'Shinobi Zone'.
Blackstone Dresden
It's a parody episode I believe Buso Renkin's a shonen anime parody by the guy that did Rurouni Kenshin.
The Warden
Kewl, although, I do wonder what Etemon has to do with ninjas
Phantom Roxas
I find it a bit hilarious that the Monitamon in charge wears orange. I've mostly been reading the Buso Renkin manga, but I saw a bit of the anime and watched the first episode, but what is Papillon like in the dub? The Warden
Orange? Oh, yeah, yeah, I get it.
Blackstone Dresden
If Shonitamon's not in the next episode, I'm gonna be a little annoyed, especially since he FINALLY has a reason to exist (Namely blending in with The Amazing Technicolor Monitamon) But yeah, Roxas, I gave up on the dub after Kaz-oo-key spoke. Dammit, dubbers it's pronounced kaz-key. The u is SILENT.
The Warden
I'll admit, some dubs may kill the anime, but thankfully, there are some animes that are just as good, dubbed or not. And I;m waiting on DonShoutmon, although, Dondokomon has been completely useless so far.
Blackstone Dresden
If the dubbers let Cutemon and Sparrowmon stay male (and don't give the latter a masculine voice) I'm gonna be amazed. But yeah, Dondokomon's pretty pointless. And I think the only reason Etemon are in the Shinobi Zone is to give Shonitamon a reason to exist (Etemon and Monitamon are fighting, both Etemon and Shoutmon are music themed, so naturally they need a musical ninja to quell the fighting, thus Shonitamon)
The Warden
Etemon already has a rival, the rappin Volcamon; Dondokomon so far has done one thing, almost got them killed in the Heaven Zone.
Blackstone Dresden
Yeah, but they already had a Volcamon this season, so they can't bring the original back.
The Warden
When was there a Volcamon this season? The last time we saw one was in Frontier.
Blackstone Dresden
AncientVolcamon ring a bell?
The Warden
Oh come on, now that one doesn't really count since PileVolcamon is the official mega to Volcamon; Ancient is an extra.
Merci
Still, it counts.
The Warden
Okay fine, I submit. But bringing up AncientVolca has reminded me of something. When it comes to the ancient forms of the Evil Warriors (Metal, Water, Wood & Earth), Wood doesn't have an obvious ultimate. AncientWisemon has Wisemon, AncientMermaimon has Mermaimon and AncientVolcamon has Volcamon, yet AncientTroiamon doesn't have an obvious ultimate, this further prooves that Wood is the lamest of the Spirits. Blackstone Dresden
Well, of the Good Warriors Ancients Greymon and Garurumon are the only ones with obvious Ultimates, so does that make the other 4 lame too?
The Warden
They make up for it with Fusion Evolution.
Blackstone Dresden
Well, what about Ancient Sphinxmon? He's both good and evil via Lowemon and Duskmon, but the former has a Fusion form, whereas the latter lacks it. So, is he only half lame?
The Warden
Duskmon and Velgemon, whilst being of the Darkness Spirit, are mere corruptions of the real one, so we go by the original spirits and not the corrupted ones.
Blackstone Dresden
So does this mean there's a corrupted version of AncientSphinxmon too?
The Warden
Quite possibly, that would be very interesting actually.
