~After the many falls of the Digimon Alliance, yet again it rises from the ashes, christened under a new name. That is why I wanted to call the club The Order of the Digital Phoenix, but not many would guess that it was a Digimon club. But now it rises, and maybe last for yet another 300 pages.

 

 

So now, Welcome to The Digimon Tamer Union.

'After several ventures into the kingdom of the Chessmon, I have come to learn of a battle style game they call 'Digi-Chess', which is commonly played by their people. The aspect of the game is KO the opposing Chessmon utilizing the strengths of your Chessmon and the Weaknesses of the opponents. It holds some parts of chess, whilst also possessing rather fascinating twists. Firstly, the board can be of varying sizes, including a linear colum board. Another interesting point are obstacles which impede movement and attack range. From what I've learned, the RookChessmon piece can remove obstacles with an attack.

You can only move as far as the Move Range allows.

 

You can only attack as far as the Attack Range allows.

 

You can move horizontally and vertically.

 

You can attack horizontally, vertically and diagonally.

 

You cannot attack past or move through an obstacle.

 

Once you've made an attack and used up all your Movement, your turn is over.

 

Once a Chessmon has run out of HP, they're defeated and removed from the game.

 

HP stands for Health Points.

 

MS stands for Movement Squares, or across how many squares they can move.

 

AR means Attack Range.

 

D means how much damage the Chessmon does.

The most basic of the Chessmon pieces, they're strength and their weakness is that they're balanced, excelling in nothing.

 

HP: 12

 

MS: 4

 

AR: 3

Fantastic troops, they excel with their decent range and vast movespeed, their only weakness is that they have lower HP than the other Chessmon.

 

HP: 10

 

MS: 8

 

AR: 3

 

D: 1

Strong warrior Chessmon, they excel in causing damage whilst also absorbing it. However, they have the second worst move speed, making it easy to outflank and hurt them with faster Chessmon.

 

HP: 18

 

MS: 2

 

AR: 4

 

D: 2

 

 

[spoiler=RookChessmon]

 

Very curious pieces, they possess no move speed whatsoever, so they're bound to their starting position, however, they make up for this with the longest attack range and high HP. They can also destroy obstacles on the board.

MS: 0

 

AR: 16

 

D: 1

 

 

[spoiler=QueenChessmon]

 

Naturally the queen is the most powerful of the Chessmon pieces, boasting powerful attack, HP and movespeed. Her drawback is that she's purely melee, so long range attackers could devastate her.

By far the most curious piece. The KingChessmon boasts the highest attack, move speed; he however suffers from being melee and possessing only 1 HP. This piece takes immense skill to play.
