Archelaus
Black is a bit balanced now but still, its returning effect for a beast-type makes it a bit OP'ed. Forest is also a bit balanced, but sadly, I think it's last effect makes it OP'ed. Link to comment
-Doodle
Changed the black, and the forest,it was supposed to be like this i just forgot writing "Baboon"..:\but i still think there's some OCG errors so fix it if you can please.. Link to comment
-Griffin
Personally, I think that the origional version of Black Baboon was just fine as it was, it required him to be face-up so 90% of the time your opponent would just destroy him before another Beast. The word "discard" doesn't need a capital in the first card. The word "Deck" should be capitalised in the second card.Third card should be:When this card is face-up on the field and a Beast-Type monster you control is destroyed, You can send the top 3 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard to Special Summon that monster during you next Standby Phase. This effect can only be activated once per turn. I changed "and" to "to", it makes it a cost but seems to fit the card better. Forest should be:During each of your Standby Phases, destroy this card or reveal on "Baboon" monster in your hand.During the End Phase, if a Beast-Type monster was destroyed this turn, you can select and activate one of the following effects:● Gain 500 Life Points.● Return one removed from play Beast-Type monster to your Graveyard. ● Add one "Baboon" card from your Graveyard to your hand. Seems a little UP'd, except the last effect. I'd add something to send any 1 Beast-Type monster from your Deck to your Graveyard instead of the first effect. Link to comment

Except it's not free revival every turn. It's free revival if your opponent is an idiot and chooses to destroy a monster other than Black Baboon. The original effect only worked while Black Baboon was face-up and couldn't revive himself, so he'd just end up getting removed from the field first, which isn't hard with his ATK. Link to comment

-Griffin
It'd go like this:* They destroy your Black Bab#1* You discard 2 cards and it'll revive during the Standby Phase* They destroy Black Bab#2* You can't revive #2 because there are no other Black Baboon's on the field OR * They destroy both at once (Lightning Vortex, Judgement Dragon, Black Rose Dragon, ect)* You cannot revive either Two of them doesn't create a loop, at all, and was balanced to begin with. 2 Dupe Frogs would make better protection. Either way, the monster gives the ability to revive monsters that are powerful enough to browbeat opponents, and for no cost at all. Even if they create a time lapse, they still allow for continuous field presence. Link to comment

-Griffin
Genma, they don't allow for much field presence. They opponent can just attack a Black Baboon and he will get no effect, and if you get 2, then you only end up protecting one of them, and for a single turn. Link to comment
