I'm sorry, what?

Japan hates the 360. We had this conversation before TAG.

I'm perfectly aware of that. What I wasn't aware of was the fact that Japan hates the 360 to the point where the sales of a bleh-ish PS3 port would be double that of a far superior 360 version.

If people don't own the system their not going to by the 360 version.

What I want to know is how is the PS3 version that much worse.

Apparently, the guys behind this botched up the port. I don't know how, but they did.

The original people who did it were lazy fucks who even though they're Japanese they made it for the 360 (lolwut?) and therefore Capcom I believe took it upon them to make a PS3 version then laugh at the developers for making something half the quality and gain double the sales.

No, it had nothing to do with Capcom. I just checked. Platinum Games (the guys behind Madworld and Infinite Space; huh, this is only their third game) did the 360 version. SEGA, the publishers for all of Platinum Games's games so far, did the PS3 port. Apparently, the gameplay is pretty much the same on both versions, but there are apparently a large number of graphical and framerate issues on the PS3 version, making it quite inferior when compared to the 360 version.

Also, I don't understand how this made them lazy. SEGA had apparently planned on handling the PS3 port from the start using Platinum Game's data on the 360.
